Today it was very fine and warm. It's been already a week since June started. June is famous for rainy season, but it seems we will have another week till it starts.
There were big news regarding professional baseball games. In Japan baseball is one of the most popular sports. During the interleague tournaments two new records were established today.
One was at the 7th innings 10 consecutive base hits were made by Chiba Lotte Marines (千葉ロッテマリーンズ)against Tokyo Yakult Swallows (東京ヤクルトスワローズ). This was the first in the professional baseball history.
Soon after that Orix Buffaloes (オリックス・バッファローズ) achieved the same record at the 6th innings against Hiroshima Toyo Carp (広島東洋カープ). Total of these two teams made the 43 base hits (Orix 25, Carp 18) which was the most during the interleague match.
