It was cloudy.
I went to the shrine in the morning.
Today is jyugoya (十五夜), the 15th night, it is also called chushu no meigetsu (中秋の名月), hervest moon. Chushu is August 15 of the luner calendar. They say it's been 46 years since the last time it fell on September 15.
On this day we decorate dumplings called tsukimi dango (月見団子) and Japanese pampas grass and enjoy viewing the moon.
Though I did not decorate them, but enjoyed the beautiful moon.
The full moon will be on September 17.
