It was very hot.
It was the 71st anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. It was at 8:15 in the morning of August 6, 1945. There was a ceremony from 8 am at the Peace Memorial Park.
After that the opening ceremony of the 31st summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro was on air. This is the first Olympic held in South American Continent.
Whenever I see the opening ceremony of Olympics, I remembered that of Barcelona in 1992 which led me to go to see many Olympic Gam
In the afternoon we had the 1st year death memorial service for my father which is called isshuki (一周忌).
How fast time flies! We had a ceremony at the hall first, and went to the grave with priest.
After that we went out for lunch. It was a course dinner and very delicious.
