It was fine and very windy.
Today is a national holiday called Midori no hi (みどりの日), Greenery Day. Greenery Day was used to be on April 29 from 1989 to 2006. From 2007 April 29 became Showa no hi (昭和の日), and May 4 became Midori no hi. May 4 was used to be Kokumin no kyujitsu (国民の休日), People's holiday from 1989 to 2006. April 29 was used to be Tenno tanjobi (天皇誕生日), Emperor's birthday from 1944 to 1988.
I stayed at home all day long today again. I cleared tansu (箪笥), chest for kimono. It is made of paulownia. I found not only my mother's old kimono but also some haori (羽織) coat.
