三月二十八日(sangatsu nijyuhachi nichi) : March 28

Good news!
The queen of the 100th Anniversary World Figure Skating Championships is a Japanese skater Asada Mao(浅田真央), 19 years old. It's been 2 years since she became the gold medalist last time and this was the second time for her to be a champion at the World Figure Skating Championships that is the first in Japanese women's history.
In this special occasion, both Japanese man Takahashi Daisuke(高橋大輔) and Japanese woman Asada Mao(浅田真央) became champions which is really nice. Congratulations!!

Today was senshuraku (千秋楽), the last day of March Grand Sumo Tournament. There is only one yokozuna Hakuho(横綱白鵬), grand champion after yokozuna Asashoryu(横綱朝青龍) left in February. He won the championship with a complete victory. This was his 13th victory. Congratulations!!
