It was rainy and cold in the morning, but became fine in the afternoon.
I went to the shrine before going to work, which is my ritual of the first day and 15th day of the month.
A new month has started. November is jyuichi gatsu (11月), the eleventh month in Japanese. Its old name is shimo tsuki (霜月), literally means frost month.
Actually it was very cold this morning, and we felt the winter has come.
From today "Warm biz" started at the public offices to save energy.
From June to September it is called "Cool biz" which allows men not to wear tie nor jacket at office to make them feel cool. The room temperature is kept at 28 degrees centigrade to save energy.
From November to March at the public offices the room temperature is kept at 20 degrees centigrade to save energy so that we use lap robe or shawl to keep ourselves warm.
Which do you like better coldness or heat?
