四月七日(shigatsu nanoka): April 7

It was a rainy cold day. It will be cold tomorrow too.

Today's big news happened in the space. Two Japanese astronauts, Ms. Naoko Yamazaki (山崎直子) 39 years old and Mr. Soichi Noguchi (野口聡一) 44 years old met at the ISS (International Space Station) after docking of Discovery at 4:44 pm of Japan Time. This was the first time for Japanese to work together in the space.

Since the Space Shuttle Discovery will retire within this year, this may be the first and the last chance for Japanese to meet in the Space.
