It was fine and rather warm in the daytime, and rained later as the weather forecast said.
Today was the last working day for me this year. Usually we have to work three more days next week, but since tomorrow is a national holiday I decided to take three days off to have a long vacation to go back to Florida as a snowbird.
There was a year end party of my department at an Italian restaurant. The year end party is bonenkai (忘年会) in Japanese which means forget year party. However these days I see it as written 望年会 which means to wish year party.
Do you want to forget this year or do you wish something for the new year?
