2012.9.18

When you send a book, how do you do?  Last week I sent 3 books by yu mail (郵メール) of JP post which cost yen 290 per book.  If it is printed matter, you can send them cheaper than regular mail.  I mean you cannot include hand-written letter inside.
There is much cheaper way.  If it is thinner than 2 cm, you can send it by yen 160.  That is called meru bin (メール便), mail delivery by home-delivery service. Today I sent 6 books, but it cost about the same amount as last time.
To send abroad, sea mail  (船便:funa bin) is the cheapest way, but it takes time.
