10月17日(jyugatsu jyushichi nichi): October 17

I have just read an amazing article in the evening newspaper and seen the same news on TV.
It happened in Toronto, Canada yesterday. A 100 years old Indian Englishman ran full marathon, finished at 8 hours 25 minutes 16 seconds and made a world record for the oldest person that completed the marathon.
They say he started the marathon at the age of 89 years old and this was the 8th time. He finished at 5 hours 40 minutes 1 second in 2003 and made the record for more than 90 years old.
These days 100 years old persons look active such as Dr. Shigeaki Hinohara (日野原重明) and a poet Ms. Toyo Shibata (柴田トヨ). It's amazing.
