Today Chunichi Dragons (中日ドラゴンズ) became a champion for the Central league of Japanese baseball for 2 years straight. It is their 9th victory and it is the first time to win two consecutive championships in 76 years of their team history since 1936.
For the manager Hiromitsu Ochiai (落合博満), 57 years old, it was the 4th victory during his 8 years management. He will retire after this season.

I am not a big fan of baseball. But after the championship games, there are bargain sales at the related department stores which is a little bit attractive.
