3月4日(sangatsu yokka): March 4

Yesterday I went to Chikuma (千曲), Nagano (長野) by Nagano Shinkansen. It's been long time since I rode on Nagano Shinkansen. Maybe since Nagano Olympic in 1998?
Nagano is famous for soba noodle. So I ate Sarashina soba (更科そば), which is rare and only limited numbers is served per day for lunch. It was white thin cold noodle and very delicious.
Other local food is oyaki (おやき), which is Japanese-style bun stuffed with adzuki-bean paste and vegetables. I bought two of them and ate after coming back.
There were some snow left, and the wind was very cold.
