Today is keichitsu (啓蟄), one of nijyushisekki (二十四節季),24 solar terms. The last one was usui (雨水) on February 19 and the next one is shumbun (春分) on March 21.
Keichitsu literally means awakening of insects, it is the time to hear the sound of hibernated insects.
It was fine and warm in the morning, but became windy in the afternoon. It will be colder again this week.
