Our company started a campaign to raise funds for the retrieve from this Tohoku-Kanto (東北関東) Earthquake. Each department collects good will donation from the staff, and the company will send them to a certain organization such as red cross or UNICEF.
My colleagues and I went out for lunch to the restaurant where let us use the bathroom during the evacuation last Friday to say "Thank you." The owner is so generous that he offered us the room to stay if there occurred something next time at night. We were glad to hear that.
