Today I went to the Tokyo Tower (東京タワー), the Imperial Palace (皇居：kokyo) , and Asakusa (浅草) . These are very popular touristic places in Tokyo.
Everywhere was filled with students of school excursion or foreigners of sightseeing.
The Tokyo Tower is 333 meters high and built in 1960 and has been the tallest tower in Japan, but now it became the second.
The number one is Tokyo Sky Tree which is still under construction and will be 634 meters high in December next year.
At the Imperial Palace we could happen to see the Emperor passing by car. I felt we are lucky.
