Today is a big milestone for the 58 years TV world history in Japan. Analog broadcasting ended except Iwate (岩手), Miyagi (宮城), and Fukushima (福島) where had a big damage of the Earthquake at noon and completely switched to the digital broadcasting.
Today was the last day for the summer grand sumo tournament. Yesterday Haruma Fuji (日馬富士) became a champion without waiting for the last day. It's been a year since he became a champion last. Congratulations! Though he could not have a complete victory unfortunately.
There are many earthquakes here and there today.
