I have just watched the sports news and known that Mr. Ryosuke Irie (入江陵介) got the bronze medal for men's 100 meters backstroke at the World Championship in Shanghai. Time was 52.98. This is the first medal for Japanese at this meeting. Congratulations!
Backstroke in Japanese is either haiei (背泳) or seoyogi (背泳ぎ).
