It was rainy and cloudy.
July 7 is tanabata (七夕), literally means seven evening. It is known as Star Festival. It is the only night of the year when two stars (Altair and Vega) meet across the milky way. In Japan we decorate the bamboo tree with oblong cards (tanzaku: 短冊) written one's wishes.
When I travel to Suwa (諏訪) on June 21, I wrote one piece of the cards after so many years. I hope my wishes will come true.
