The last day of May.
It was cloudy and rainy today.
Today was the due date of car tax. These days I use the credit card paying because I can get some points.
In the afternoon I went to Kimono-style Miya to introduce my friend who loves kimono.
We had dinner and enjoyed talking about traveling.
After saying good-bye I went to see another friend.
I went to see a Japanese movie "Parallel World Love Story" which I have been interested in since I saw the preview last time.
It was a nice day.
It was fine.
I wore kimono and went to Kimono-style Miya to have my hairset.
I went to Geihinkan to attend a kimono - wearing party. There were about 200 people wearing kimono. In between there was a fashon show and I was asked to walk the runway as one of the representatives.
The person next to me was a colleague of my high school senior and I was very surprised.
After the party I went to Shinagawa to see friends.
It was rainy in the early morning but became cloudy and rained again in the evening.
I went to see my friend to do REIKI at Hiroo. I arrived earlier and walked around the park nearby.
While waiting I applied for the Olympic tickets which was supposed to close last night but extended until noon today. I hope to see some Olympic events.
After that I went to Roppongi to have lunch and visited Softbank to ask something. Strange to say it was solved before asking.
I went to Daimon to attend a secret seminar about "Principle of Jewish Rich People." It was very inspiring.
In the evening I went to Shinagawa to see my friends.
It was an eventful day.
It was cloudy and windy in the morning and became rain in the afternoon.
I took a hot spring bath, had a big breakfast, read a book by the hotel CEO, and checked out.
There was a shuttle bus to the nearest station.
I came home around 2 pm.
Holiday in Chiba was great.
It was fine and hot.
I went to Kimono-style Miya to have my hair set and dressed up in the morning and headed for Kaihin Makuhari to spend "Holiday in Chiba" project produced by Kimono-style Miya.
I arrived at the hotel around 1:15 pm and checked in. I enjoyed buffet style lunch at the restaurant of the 50th floor.
And there was a facial treatment service.
I met my friend and walked to the park and the beach to see the sunset and we had Japanese noodle dinner.
At night I enjoyed hot springs.
It became a nice holiday in Chiba.

I went to Nishikoyama for the first time to do REIKI in the morning.
After that I went to Roppongi. My friend and I had lunch at an Italian restaurant where I hsve wanted to go for a long time.
After lunch we visited the Fuji Film Square. To our lucky we could listen to Gallery Talk. About 10 photographers talked how they took the picture. I was surprised to hear that the actual objects are very small and to take the special moments they took hundreds of pictures. Nowadays it is possible to take hundreds of picures because of digital cameras. But it must be hard by film cameras.
After that we went to see the 71st Sankiten (三軌展) exhibition at National Art Center, Tokyo. It is a big exhibition of pictures, articraft, sculptures, and photographs. There was a workshop of leather craft. We enjoyed making a leather charm of owl.
I visited two shrines.
I had dinner with a friend from Expo' 92 at a Spanish restaurant and we ordered the birthday plate.
We had a square meal.
It was a nice day.
It was fine and hot today.
I went to Kimono-style Miya to take a free lesson of Pilates in the morning.
After having lunch I went to Iseyama kotai jingu and Naritasan. At the former I saw the celebration of baby's first visit called omiyamairi (お宮参り), at the latter I saw the ceremony. I felt lucky.
In the afternoon I did REIKI for four persons. One of them had a very good result.
It was fine and very hot, the hottest day in this year.
The big discount shopping center near my house opened at 9 am today. There were already so many people there before 9 am. They actually sell by very cheap price.
On the second floor there will be a community center where will open next month.
After that I went to Shinjuku by using a one day Tokyo ticket. I went to the lounge of Odakyu Century Hotel. The view from there was great.
After the meeting I went to Jujo to see my friend at hospital to do REIKI. She will leave the hospital tomorrow. So I did REIKI longer than usual.
On my way back to the station I dropped at a cafe where offered special chocolate drink. I ordered the time limited fravor. It was very unique and tasty. They have a branch in Kamakura. Then I visited the chicken ball place.
It was fine.
I went to Shibuya to see my friend.
After that I went to Shinagawa to see other friends.
I was going to see another friend at night but it was canceled.
So I had dinner with a friend.
It was fine.
I had a big breakfast.
First I went to Hoshoen for the first time. There I did Reiki healing.
After that I walked to the Nagoya station and thought what to do. I found the very reasonable bus ticket to go back to Tokyo. So I decided to take it.
It takes six hours which is about three times of Shinkansen but costs only one fifth.
I had about four hours to wait and decided to see a movie. It is a Japanese movie shot in Hong Kong and very interesting.
After that I visited JICA and other places.
The bus stopped three times for the rest and it was spacy and comfortable.
I came home around midnight.
It was heavily rainy in Kanto area, but fine in Nagoya.
I got up early and left home earlier than planned because of heavy rain. However I could not get on the planned Shinkansen by misjudge and took a later Shinkansen arriving earlier by paying the fare again.
My friend came to pick me up and we visited the Atsuta shrine. There we happened to see the wedding. I met some friends there.
After that we had lunch at a Steak house. I ate too much because I wanted to make Taiyaki by myself.
The main reason of my going to Nagoya is to attend a big convention. It lasted for four hours. There was another meeting for two hours.
And there was a dinner party.
It was fine in the daytime but became rain in the evening. To my lucky I did not have to use an umbrella.
I went to Shinagawa to attend the REIKI Third degree seminar from 10 am to neary 7 pm.
This will be the last lesson to attend as a participant because from next time I hope to attend as a supporter.
This time there were 7 groups and our group was consisted of 8 people. One was from Sendai, the other was from Mishima, and others were from Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama.
I came back with the person from New Zealand.
Isn't it surprising?

I went to Shinagawa to learn REIKI 2 for the 4th time.
I happened to see my friend there and we decided to have dinner.
Today I had a very happy news.

It is the full moon tonight. It is so beautiful.

I went to Shinagawa to attend REIKI 1 seminar again. This is the 4th time for me to attend. Until last month I have only attended the session for review. In April session I decided to be a certified REIKI teacher.
Today I decided to attend June session as a supporter and take an examination at the earliest timing.
REIKI is one of the self- healing methods originated in Japan and developed in the USA and other countries. In Japan it was imported again in the 1980s.
I was healed and relaxed and enjoyed.
It was fine and warm.
In the morning I went to a kimono shop to learn about ittobori (一刀彫) which is a very special way of making kimono. It has about 30 years of history.
In the afternoon I went to Magome to learn about ISD (Institution of Self Discovery) again. It is a study of statistics and classification to know about yourself by birth date. There are three groups: Sun, Earth, and Moon. To know the characteristics of each group makes the human relation easier.
At night I had dinner with my friend from Expo 2005. It's been about 5 years since we met each other in Hong Kong. How fast time flies!
We enjoyed the reunion.
It was fine.
I went to Yokosuka in the morning.
I was going to Roppongi to see the exhibition at the National Art Center, Tokyo after that. However I left Yokosuka later than I expected and had to give up visiting there today.
In the afternoon I went to Mita to attend a seminar. Before that I visited the Keio University.
In the evening I went to Kachidoki.
At night I went to Shinagawa to see some friends and had dinner. One of them did not appear. To my surprise he was involved in the accident.
I sent some Line messages about free promotion of my first e-book. The reaction is quite different. But those who replied praised my effort. Some downloaded soon and read at a time, others downloaded but waited for time to read to come. There were some people who do not react at all.

I went to the nearby shrine first as my 15th day ritual and went to the branch office of city office to submit a document.
Before noon a repair serviceman came and fixed the leaking problem of the washing machine. It cost about yen15,000.

It was a rainy day and rather cold.
They say in Amami the rainy season has set in.
Finally I stayed at home all day long.
I seldom call but called here and there to make arrangement. First I called to repair the washing machine because water has been leaking these days. Serviceman will come tomorrow. Second I called the bank to transfer money but I heard the transfer charge will be yen 824 by phone and yen 216 by ATM. Since I was going to transfer to my other bank I decided to withdraw and deposit when I go out next time. Third I called to book a trial lesson for making craft art.
I could receive two re-delivered mails.
These are things I have done by staying home.

I went to Hinodecho to attend a meeting at World Porters in the morning and afternoon.
I had lunch with friends at a family restaurant where had free charger. Though I did not use it, I am glad to know the service. I enjoyed tasting different drinks at the drink bar.
After the meeting I went to a tea room of the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel to use a cake set ticket which will expire at the end of this month. The cake was very tasty.
Then I went to Kimono-style Miya to do REIKI. I am glad to do three people to make them feel good.

It was the second day of Mr. James Skinner's Mission Install Live Seminar.
Last night I stayed at a hotel in Kayabacho, so I left there around 7:30 am. It started at 8:30 and ended around 7:30 pm.
I could install my mission and choose 4 sentences describing my Identity.
My mission is to be a bridge between Japan and other countries.

It was an interesting experience.
Today is Mother' Day. I wish she is still alive!!

I went to Roppongi icchome to attend two days seminar of Mr. James Skinner.
It started at 9 am and lasted until nearly 11pm.
Tomorrow it starts and finishes earlier.
Since my last train finishes earlier, I booked the hotel in Tokyo. It was rather difficult to find a reasonable hotel.
It was cloudy.
I went to Hinodecho to have my hair set and dressed.
I went to Shinagawa to see somebody.
Then I went to Komagome to visit Rikugien (六義園) garden and Toyo bunko museum (東洋文庫ミュージアム) where had a special exhibition of the Wisdom of India.
After that we went to Meguro to have dinner at Gajoen(雅叙園).
It was s busy day.

It was fine and very beautiful.
Since I wanted to spend a very special day I attended a very special shrines visiting tour to Nikko.
I started the day early and visited the nearby shrine first. I took 5:28 train to Asakusa, changed the train to Tobu Nikko, and arrived there at 9:20.
There were 10 people and a baby. We have visited main 5 shrines and temples and other power spots. Green leaves and river were so beautiful.
The tour finished around 4 pm and we ate late lunch which my friend treated me as a birthday present.
We took the local train back home. I came home around 10 pm.
It was a very nice birthday.

I went to branch office of city hall to do some paperwork.
I went to Roppongi to have lunch with ex-colleagues. Six of us got together and had chicken lunch. We shared what we did during 10 days Golden Week.
After that I went to Shinjuku to attend a meeting.
And I went to Jujo to visit a friend at hospital to do REIKI.
I had a rather busy day,
It was fine and warm, but rained in the evening.
Today is the last day of the 10 days Golden Week for most people.
Today is rikka (立夏), one of nijyushisekki (二十四節気), 24 solar terms. The last one was kokuu(穀雨) on April 20 and the next one will be shoman (小満) on May 21. Rikka literally means stand summer, and it is the first day of summer.
Today is ichiryumanbaibi(一粒万倍日) which means the day when one seed grows10000 times. That is today is a good day to start something.
Therefore I published my first English E-book "Things Japanese in January" by Kindle today hoping it will be a success. This will be a series of 12 books.
I also changed the smartphone today. It was rather easy,
I went to the beauty salon to get my hair cut and permed.
It was a fruitful day,
It is a national holiday called "Kodomo no hi(こどもの日)" Children's Day. Families with boys decorate "Kabuto (兜)" Samurai helmet and "Koinobori(鯉のぼり)" carp-shaped streamer. We eat special sweets called "Kashiwa mochi(かしわ餅)" rice cake with sweet red bean paste wrapped with oak leaves. We take a bath with sweet flag leaves.
I went grocery shopping and cooked dinner after a long time.
It was fine at first but became rain with thunder in the afternoon, and stopped raining in the evening.
I went to Oizumigakuen for the first time to do REIKI. At first I was worried because I have never met this person before. She showed interest in my FB post and we have a mutual friend and I decided to accept her request. She has a unique experience and I enjoyed talking with her.
Next I went to Hinodecho to see my friend and do REIKI.
After that I went to Kimono-Style Miya to have hair-set, make-up, dressed up, and taken photos by wearing the newly made summer kimono.
Then I tried two persons REIKI. They could relax and I am glad.
It was fine and rather warm.
It is a national holiday called Kenpo kinenbi (憲法記念日), Constitution Day. This year we have 10 days holiday therefore we tend to forget what day it is today.
In the morning I edited my first e-book. I hope to publish it before my birthday.
I left home before noon and went to Kanda to attend a lecture of CEO and a monthly meeting which lasted till 8:30 pm or so. I helped at the reception.
It was fun to talk with friends who have the same interest.
It was rainy in the morning but became fine in the afternoon. I saw the beautiful sunset this evening.
I went to Yokohama to meet my friend. We went to Kiyoken (崎陽軒) to have "Afternoon Tea Set" from 11:30 am. During Golden Week they do not accept the reservation on weekdays, therefore we went there earlier to make sure to have the limited sets. Usually "afternoon tea" is very expensive like yen5000. However they offer at the very reasonable price of yen1550. There were three plates and 8 different cakes and snacks. I ordered a pot tea of about two cups.What is good, we can ask hot water if we drink more. Everything tested good. Next time I hope to try "Premium Afternoon Tea" or "Evening High Tea." We enjoyed talking a lot and found many common interests. It was fun.
After that I went to Kimono-Style Miya to choose obi. I happened to see my friend there.
I visited Iseyama kotai jingu (伊勢山皇大神宮) where I wanted to visit yesterday, and Naritasan (成田山) temple.
Finally I went to Jujo (十条) to visit my friend at the hospital to do REIKI. Before that I passed Jujo ginza (十条銀座) shopping arcade where was introduced by TV recently and I tried the famous chicken balls.
It was a fruitful day.
A new era REIWA (令和) meaning beautiful harmony started today.
There was a declaration ceremony of succession of the throne in the morning at the most prestigeous room Matsu no ma (松の間), pine room of the Imperial Palace today.
Usually the change of the name of the era happens by the passing of the Emperor, it includes the mixed feeling of sadness and hopes. However this time the former Emperor decided to step down, and he is alive, so people have only positive feeling I guess.
It was cloudy and rainy in the morning and became fine later around the ceremony and became rain in the afternoon.
May is gogatsu (五月) or satsuki (皐月) in Japanese. This year we are having the special long golden week.
After watching the ceremony on TV I visited the nearby shrine as my first day ritual.
I hear there was a long waiting line at Iseyama kotai jingu (伊勢山皇大神宮) where I was going to visit in the afternoon but did not. Many people wanted to get the special red stamp called goshuin (ご朱印) today to get today's date. I heard at the Meiji Shrine some people had to wait for more than 8 hours.
In the evening I went to my friend's place to do REIKI.
Since today is taian (大安), good day for everything, I started using the new purse.
My friend wanted me to do REIKI on her new purse, so I did.
I hope we have good fortune.
