It was fine and very hot.
There were two lectures in the morning.
We went to Kashiwa no ha campus (柏の葉キャンパス) station of the Tsukuba Express just after the lecture. After arriving there we had a quick lunch at the food court of LaLaport.
Then we took a tour of the smart city guided in English where is owned by Mitsui Fudosan. They have not only residential space, but also commercial area and research center. It is a very unique example of the collaboration of Academic, Public, and Private sectors.
It may be the first time for me to get on the Tskuba Express.
We went to Nagareyama Otaka no Mori station after that.
I have been there once on March 19 last year when I visited the Sakuragi jinja shrine.
We dropped at Minaminagareyama to see the platform, then went to Akihabara.
