2018.7.10

It was fine and very hot.

I went to MLIT to attend three lectures.

After coming back to the office I overworked till 8PM.

This morning I happened to hear about Hozukiichi(ほおずき市), Chinese Lantern Market at the Asakusa Sensoji (浅草 浅草寺) by radio.
Therefore I decided to visit there. It is held on July 9 and 10. If you visit there these days, it is equivalent to the grace of the visit there for 46000 days, which is more than 126 years!!
There were so many vendors selling pots of Chinese Lantern or branch of them. Pots were about yen2800. Branch was about yen1200.

After visiting the temple, I visited the Asakusa Shrine next to the temple. There was still chinowa (茅の輪), the circle of thatch there.
