2012.8.20

It was another hot day.
There were many good sports news today such as the victory of Ms. Mika Miyazato (宮里美香) at the Safeway Classic in Oregon and two home-runs of Mr. Ichiro (イチロー) of New York Yankees.
But the most impressive news was the Victory Parade of the Medalists of London 2012 in Ginza (銀座).  71 medalists participated in and about 500,000 people came to see them.  It started at 11 AM, and they marched by 2 open cars and 5 open buses for 20 minutes for about 1 km.
There were 7 gold medalists on the contrary to the expectation but 38 medals in total were the most in Japanese Olympic history.  People got inspired and impressed by each performance.  In spite of the time difference, many people enjoyed watching many games.  Thank you very much.
