The typhoon No. 12 left a big damage in Kii peninsula (紀伊半島：kii hanto). In many places the amount of the rainfall was record-making. One half of the year's precipitation was made just in a few days. Depends on the place it rained 1800 ml in a day. 20 people were killed and 55 people are missing. About 33,000 people were advised to evacuate.
There are still possibilities of heavy rain in many places tomorrow too.
In the morning there was an earthquake.
This year we are facing the threat of natural disasters.
