It's been 75 years since the first atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima. The total casualty reached 324129 by now. Every year from 8 am there is a memorial service at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park inviting about 50,000 people but this year the number was limited to less than 800 victims and their bereaved because of the COVID-19.
In the afternoon we practiced to conduct a ceremony by zoom. It is completely different from having lecture or webinar and we really felt we needed the practice before the real event.
After work I went to attend a monthly meeting. I feel encouraged whenever I attend this meeting.
