Last day of May.

It was rainy at first, but became fine.

I published the 81st ebook.

On my way home I went to banks and grocery shopping.

  

I had the 21st bilingual tea party at night and enjoyed talking with three friends.

May was a nice birth month.

2023.5.30

It was rainy in the daytime, but became fine in the evening, and I saw the beautiful sunset.

I worked at home.

In the evening I talked with a facebook friend by messenger.

At night I talked with two facebook friends by messenger.

Covid-19 changed our lives a lot, and tele-work and SNS are two biggest changes for me. Next might be wearing a mask, but I have not worn it anymore these days.

2023.5.28

It was fine.

I left home around 9:30 and went to Aburatsubo to see the Dosun matsuri festival.

This was the third time for me to see the festival.

Last year there were so many visitors because of NHK's TV drama.

I attended the guide tour to Araijo castle ruins, and enjoyed wearing Kabuto helmet.

There were the Buddhism service, the Shinto ceremony, and Kasagake, horse−riding archery performance.

After the festival I went to a German bakery.

I visited three shrines.

It was a nice day.

It was fine.

I went to Sugita to go to the beauty salon. I have my hair cut and perm. In addition I got head spa as a birthday present.

After that I had lunch and visited a kimono shop.

I went to Yokohama to see two Japanese movies, Tokyo MER and Tokyo revengers.

The former is shot at the Yokohama Land Mark Tower where I know well. It was good.

The latter was the second movie of the series. But I knew it was the first half and the second half will be released at the end of June.

I had dinner and came home.

It was fine.

Many staff went home back earlier not to get involved in traffic jam.

After work I walked around and decided to see the fireworks festival in Zushi.

It started at 19:30 and ended at 20:15.

I am glad to see it from the top of the mountain. It was nice.

There was a zoom event and I joined on my way home just for listening only.

My 80th ebook has been No.1 in Japan.

It was cloudy first, but became fine.

I worked at home.

There came a serviceman to repair the Eco Cute.

In the evening I went to the nearest coffee shop to see someone. I ate the specialty there.

After that I went shopping.

My 80th present campaign started.

It was fine.

Mt.Fuji looked so beautiful.

 

I published the 80th ebook.  To my glad it became No.1 in Japan.

At lunch time we ate outside under the beautiful sunshine.

After work I met my old colleague and his wife and had dinner together after a long time. It was a nice meeting.

I was a cold rainy day.

At lunch time my pleasure is to find the dessert on the table. We are not sure how they decide when they offer the dessert. To our lucky there were three left. 

After work I went shopping, but they did not have what I was supposed to buy.

There was a zoom seminar. After that I had another meeting.

I prepared the 80th ebook.

It was fine and warm. But they say it will be very cold again. 

 　

There is something wrong with bathroom and I had to call for repair.

I got a call from my ex−colleague and I  called back after work. 

At night I sent a message and I got a call.

I seldom use for calling but I talked a lot today.

2023.5.21

It was fine.

We had brdakfast and left the place around 10:40，

After arriving at the Naha airport, I went to the lounge and shopping. 

During the flight I could see a movie which I  could not see on my way to Naha.

It delayed a little bit.

I was glad to see the Mt.Fuji.

After arriving at Haneda, I moved to the International terninal and had dinner and came home around 7pm.

It was a fruitful trip to Okinawa.

2023.5.20

It was fine.

I had breakfast at 7 am, and checked out the hotel before 8 am.

The tour bus came to pick me up at the hotel before 8 am and we headed for Kudakajima.

There were two tours: one is to visit Sefa utaki and Kudakajima, the other is to visit Kudakajima only. I chose the latter.

While some people were visiting Sefa utaki, I enjoyed Chinen Misaki Park and trying Tapez, swing in the air which was nice.

After that we took the ferry to Kudakajima at 11:00 and there were two-hour guided tour around the island and two-hour free time. We took a jet boat at 16:00 and came back to Naha around 17:30. 

Weather was fine and we visited beautiful places, and I liked the tour very much.

In Naha I went shopping to the International street.

I came to Okinawa city to visit my friend's place.

Today is the new moon.

It was a nice day.

It was fine.

I had western style breakfast. There were four or five choices for the main dish. I chose egg venedict.

In the morning there was a seminar and four speakers.

After that I walked to the next hotel to leave the carry case.

I took a bus to the Okinawa World and enjoyed the stay there for a half day. 

I came back to the hotel to check in.

To my glad my 79th ebook became No.1 in the Netherlands.

2023.5.18

It was a rainy day but stopped raining in the evening.

I chose Japanese style breakfast which was really good.

Lunch was also Japanese style and that was also good.

Dinner was Shabu shabu hot pot, and eleven of us enjoyed eating and drinking.

All foods were so nice today that I ate too much.

In the morning there was a lecture and in the afternoon there were two lectures.

After coming back to the hotel at night, a new friend whom I met last night for the first time read my future by my birth date and name.

I thought this year is the last bad year of the three years, but she said from this year my fortune will go up for the next five years.

Isn't it nice?

It was fine.

I came to Okinawa since December 2021 or so.

I was glad to see Mt.Fuji frow the airplane.

After checked in the hotel, I waked around the city and found the history of the relationship between USA and U.K. 

I enjoyed the dinner very much because May birthday persons were celebrated.

It was fine. Mt. Fuji looked so beautiful. Snow line was almost straight at the fifth station.

At lunch time I ate at the terrace for the first time. I felt good under the beautiful sunshine.

Present campaign of my 79th ebook started.I hope many people will enjoy.

At night I attended a zoom seminar. I hope to invite many people to the seminar too.

From tomorrow I go to Okinawa. It must be fun.

It was a cold rainy day.

I published the 79th ebook about waterfalls in Tokyo. To my glad it is No.1 in Japan.

They say today is the 30th anniversary of J league. Congratulations!!

At night I attended a zoom seminar.

I prepared for the trip this week.

2023.5.14

It was cloudy and rainy.

There was Kanda myojin shrine festival in Tokyo. I felt like going there, but stayed at home all day long.

I planned my trip to Okinawa this week.To my lucky I found one day bus tour to Kutakajima island and booked. Soon after that I found the discount version. I sent an email about it. I hope they can fix the charge.

I prepared the pictures for three books.

At night there were three online sessions.

2023.5.13

It was cloudy at first but became rain in the afternoon.

I decided to go to Ashikaga Flower Park via Otemachi to see the parade of Kanda myojin shrine. Unfortunately I could not see and what is worse I missed the train and arrived one hour later than schdule. 

Lucky or unlucky the museum we were supposed to visit was closed.

Ashikaga Flower Park is very famous for wisteria, but this year they bloomed earlier and we could not see the wonderful wisteria flowers.

However we enjoyed beautiful roses instead.

We had sweets at the inside restaurant. Fortunately we could sit at the window side table and enjoy roses outside.

We visited the park again to see the lighen up scenery.

I could come home within today.

Next time I want to visit when wisteria is full in bloom under the fine weather.

2023.5.12

It was fine.

Lunch at the dining hall on Friday seems to have desserts. There were four choices for me but other choices too.

I wonder why they do not prepare every day for every one.

It is first come, first served. So even if it is a dessert day, there is a possibility of sold out.

Somd dishes have more than two different sweets, others have only half.

Today's case I chose Eclair and cookie, and my colleague chose half of cheese cake.

There are some same side dishes such as rice, tea, salad and Namul of bean sprout, and slightly different choices of Miso soup and pickles. There are many choices of dressings. 

I thought it is better to have any desserts  for every day for everyone than unbalanced dishes sometimes for early comers only.

As a main dish I chose saba (Mackerel) with miso today.

There was a rather big earthquake in the early morning, but I slept after that again.

These days there are many earthquakes here and there.

It was fine in the morning but became heavily rain in the afternoon.

To my lucky I did not have to use an umbrella.

I was going to see some TV programs, but fell asleep in the middle.

It was fine.

Today is my mother's 21st death anniversary. I got the news when I was in  Istanbul and bought the normal ticket to come back home. There were a few flights in a week and I could not come back soon.

Today my colleague said she sent me a birthday message to Line's Timeline but I could not find it. When I found it,  there were about 10 birthday messages.

I thought it is important to tell too because if she did not tell, I would never know these 10 messages.

There were some people whom I could not recognize soon.

At lunch I chose the salt-grilled mackerel as a main dish. This was the second time I chose it but there were four kinds of desserts and I chose rice cake with soy beans powder for the first time and it was another new combination.

My 78th ebook became No.1 in two sections in the USA and I am glad.

2023.5.9

It was fine.

I worked from8:45 to 15:30 at home and took two hours off.

I headed for Tokyo to attend the monthly meeting.

After that I three of us had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant to celebrate my birthday. All were delicious.I am glad to have good friends.

To my glad my 87th ebook has become No.1 in the USA and Japan.

It is my birthday.

In the morning it rained heavily and many people were late because of the traffic delay.

In the evening it became fine and I saw the beautiful sunshine.

To my glad my 78th ebook has become No.1 in Japan.

To show my appreciation I started the present campaign.

 

Today is tora no hi (寅の日), Day of Tiger when is a good time to spend money because the money you spent would be back. So I paid monthly fees and other things and bought some foods and shoes.

I was surprised to receive many birthday messages. Thank you so much.

2023.5.7

It was a rainy day.

I decided to stay at home.

  

This is the last day of the Golden Week 2023.

In the first part I took an Exam for becoming a tour conductor and passed.

In the latter half I enjoyed beach yoga and visiting Hayama on May 3, visiting a shrine and waterfalls in Hinohara Village on May 4, and having Afternoon Tea with friends in Ginza on May 5.

I had a nice golden week this year too.

My present campaign of the 77th ebook ended.

And I published the 78th ebook today.

2023.5.6

It was fine and windy.

I stayed at home all day long. 

According to the calendar, today is koshi (甲子) which is the first day of the 60 days cycle counting.

And today is rikka (立夏), the first day of summer.

What is more today is the full moon.

So it is a good day to think about something new and start something.

I planned the trip to Koganeyama jinja shrine in September for the second year and booked the room.

2023.5.5

It is a national holiday called Kodomo no hi (こどもの日) Children' s Day. 

In Japanes it is the 5th day of the 5th Month of the 5th year of Reiwa. 

I went to Yokohama and visited shrines and temple first and went to Kimono style Miya to have my hair set, make up, dressed up, and pictures taken.

 

I bought my birthday present there.

I went to Ginza to have Afternoon Tea with four friends.

When I got there one of my friends was talking with a couple from Australia.

We chatted for a while.

 

We enjoyed eating and drinking and talking for two hours.

After that three of us went to see the Dragon Art Festa. We met some artists there.

Two of us went to have dinner.

After coming home I found a birthday present from UK.

It was a nice day.

2023.5.4

It is a national holiday called Midori no hi (みどりの日) Green Day.

It was fine and beautiful.

I left home around 8:30am and headed for Hinohara Village to visit a shrine and some waterfalls with two friends.

This is the third year for me to visit there at this time of the year. 

We went up to the Tomin no mori (都民の森) by bus and walked to Mito otaki(三頭大滝) first, and walked down to other three waterfalls as we have visited for the past two years.

Sky is blue, trees are green, flowers were yellow, white, pink, purple, red, magenta, and so on. Sunshine was so beautiful.

We walked about 16km for 5 hours or so.

We had a nice hiking.

I came home around 9:30pm.

2023.5.3

It was fine. 

It is a national holiday called Kenpo kinenbi(憲法記念日), Constitution Day, and the start of the latter half of the Golden Week.

I had a zoom meeting first. It was interesting to know someone new. It seems we had something in common. 

From 10 I attended beach yoga. It's been a long time since I attended last. At that time it was the fullmoon and the light road on the sea looked so beautiful.

Weather was good, and the sea was beautiful, so as sky. We felt good. 

Lunch was provided.

I saw an interesting poster at the meeting place. I would like to try paragliding someday.

After that my friend and I went to Hayama, and enjoyed the beautiful nature. We met my friend's friend and visited shrines and ate dinner.

It was a nice meeting.

At night I attended a Zoom event. It was interesting.

2023.5.2

It was fine.

The sun set was very beautiful.

Today is hachiju hachiya (八十八夜) which is the 88th night since the first day of spring. 

The tea leaves which were picked up on this day is supposed to be very high quality.

From tomorrow there are five days off. There are many people who took two days off yesterday and today to have nine days off.

My 77th ebook present campaign has started.

At night I attended a monthly zoom meeting.

2023.5.1

A new month has started. 

May is go gatsu (５月, 五月) or satsuki (皐月) in Japanese. It is my birthday month.

There are some rituals I practice on every first day of the month such as changing plants, rice and salt on the altar, changing salt in the house, and visiting the nearby shrine.

I went to the nearby shrine on my way to work.

My 76th ebook became No.1 in the newly released parts.

According to the  mail magazine of the daily calendar, I cooked the red bean rice.

2023.4.30

The last day of April.

It was rainy in the morning.

I went to Shinjuku to have the examination to be a tour conductor. To my glad I passed successfully.

After that I met my supervisor and ate late crab lunch.

Then I went to Ginza to see the exhibition of Dragon Art.

On my way home I droped at Kurihama to shop.

At night, I attended two Zoom meetings.

It was a fruitful day.
