Since I got information of festival in Nihonbashi area from today to tomorrow by my friend this morning, I decided to visit there after work. There were many street food shop. I visited two shrines. I got two red stamps.
From today my 222nd book promotion campaign has begun.

I stayed at home in the morning preparing the 223rd eBook and others.
In the late afternoon I decided to visit the Verny Park to see the Rose Festival. There were not so many roses this time. There were Plum Wine Festival.
On my way I dropped at Kurihama and did grocery shopping.
There was a zoom seminar at night.
It was fine.
I stayed at home in the morning to receive the re-delivered goods.
In the afternoon I went to Soleil Park to see flowers. The cosmos flowers were blooming. I saw the beautiful sunset and took pictures.
I went to grocery shopping at two places after a long time. The second place was introduced the new parking system.
I published the 222nd e-book.

On my way to office on the train, I saw the sun dog and dragon god clouds.
There was a big event at the office. It went well with 16 guests from Thailand and 6 Japanese guests. We exchanged the experiences and had light meal.
After that there was something to do, and I overworked till 21:00, and came home around 23:00.
I got many sweets today.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work, as a ritual of the 15th of the month.
On my way to the office, I usually buy lunch and overtime meal. I could not find my favorite walnut bread for overtime meal this morning. Therefore, I chose a whip cream and red bean paste bread instead. It was unexpectedly tasty.
We were busy to prepare for the quests tomorrow.
I need to prepare for my trip next month, but it is rather hard because of the long weekend.

Today is the Railway Anniversary Day. 154 years ago (1872) the first railway between Shimbashi and Yokohama started. In 1994 to commemorate this historical event the Railway Anniversary Day was established.
For the last three-day weekend, I traveled to Chiba and Tochigi by using JR All-you-can-ride pass for Autumn which has been issued to commemorate the Railway Anniversary Day.
Today I had a chance to go out during work time for some reasons. My colleague and I went to sandwich shop, badge shop, and sweets shop. Since it started raining suddenly, we went back to the office to get umbrella.
There were many things I have to deal with again. I overworked until 21:00 and came home around 22:45. I could manage to watch the NHK's night drama.

It is a national holiday called Sports Day. It used to be on October 10, but due to introduction of Happy Monday System, it became the second Monday of October.

This morning I took hot spring and had a square breakfast. While having breakfast, my friend started talking of her dead son. We felt sorry for him.
Before leaving the hotel, we enjoyed talking with owners.
We headed for Oshiraji Falls. This was the third time for me to go there. As said "The third is a charm," I could see the beautiful blue basin and waterfalls running.
After that we went to the Mountain Station Takahara and had lunch.
Before going back, I went shopping.
I took at 15:35 train and changed at Utsunomiya. While I was heading to Totsuka, I heard the announcement saying, "There was an accident between Akabane and Ikebukuro." Therefore, I had to change the schedule and came home later than expected.
At the station I bought the commuter pass for 6 months.
It was a nice holiday.

I have a registered mail which is needed to re-deliver, but it would be impossible to be delivered during weekdays. Now I am thinking to take a few hours off to go to post office to get it before going to office.
I have been looking for a restaurant or izakaya where to have a farewell dinner for my colleague this Friday. There are two choices, one is the close place, the other offers the favorite foods. Which should we take?
There was an interesting case about birthday celebration, and I felt like knowing the cultural difference. In some countries, the birthday person throws a party and offers cakes or gifts. In other countries, people around plan a birthday party for the birthday person. How is the custom in your place? In my case I like to throw a party for birthday person, especially a surprise party.

I walked to the station because there was a farewell party for my colleague who entered at the same time as myself.
There were many things to deal with today. First, I had to attend an emergency online meeting for two hours and a half. There was another meeting in the afternoon, but when I went there it was already finished.
One of the colleagues who left at the end of last month came to visit the colleague to say goodbye.
So, five of us went to the farewell party. The restaurant was recently open, and the name plate was still old one and we could not find the place. Though I chose there because of private room, the next room was too noisy.
We went to the second party, but I left earlier for the last train.
Since I had to wait for the taxi, I came home after midnight.

It is Kanro (寒露), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気) 24 solar terms. The last one was Shubun (秋分) on September 23, and the next one is soko(霜降) on October 23. Kanro literally means cold dew.
There were two meetings at office.
We got Japanese sweets which was very delicious.

I decided to pick up the registered mail at the post office before going to work. I visited some banks too.
On my way to the office, I also visited the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau to check the status of applied COE.
I left the office one hour earlier than usual to go to see a concert "Pianomen 2026" at SCG Hall Ariake where I went to for the first time. There were four pianists playing for 30 minutes each with guests. I did not know most of them. But I liked their performance, especially improvised medley. I envy those who can play instruments. I wish I could play any instruments too!
I went there with my friend from the Ability Garden where we learned much business knowledges 23 years ago.
After the concert at the station, I met my friend who invited me to this concert.

Today was the last day of my 221st e-book campaign. After all it became No. 1 in the USA and Japan and ranked in in Bazil.
There were many troubles to deal with at office, and I overworked till 8:30 PM or so.
We decided the place for farewell and welcome dinner this Friday. I proposed two places and four of us talked and decided.
On my way back I checked emails and felt like traveling red leaves places by bus tour.

There was a Hatsui Festival in Enoshima jinja shrine at 10 AM, therefore I was going to take 7:03 train but could not get up.
I arrived there after 20 minutes or so. I attended the festival, visited four shrines, took pictures of roses, and headed for Sakuragicho to attend the once a month seminar.
Before the seminar I visited Iseyamakotai jingu shrine, and after the seminar I visited Naritasan Yokohama branch.
I went to the Harbor View Park by Akaikutsu sight seeing bus and enjoyed seeing roses. I walked to Yamashita Park, and saw roses too.
On my way I dropped at Kurihama and enjoyed shopping.

In the morning there was an advertisement of the nearby supermarket for the 1st anniversary's sale, I went shopping before going to Shinjuku.
In Shinjuku I met my friend from Matsumoto for lunch. After that I saw her son and friend.
I was going to see a movie but decided to see her friend whom I met in May. We tried to go to coffee shop but there were many people, and we decided to go to restaurant. At the coffee shop I was shocked to know that the birthday gift coupon from my friend in May was valid until Sep. 30. I should have used it earlier.
At night there was a zoom event. I watched a movie on TV.

It was the last day for my 220th eBook campaign. To my glad my 221st eBook has been No. 1 and the 220th eBook has been No.2 for a while in Japan.
I am not sure why, but I have had a stomachache at night for two days.
There were many email communications and a zoom meeting today and I overworked till 8:30 PM or so and came home around 10:40 PM.
I have been looking for a restaurant to have lunch with a friend at night.
A new month has started.
October is jugatsu (10月 十月) or kannazuki (神無月) in Japanese.
There are some rituals I follow on the first day of the month. One is to change plants, rice, salt at inhouse shrine, the other is to visit the nearby shrine which is called otsuitachimairi (お朔日参り), another is to post the good day information of the month's calendar.
It was cloudy at first but became fine after a long interval.
This morning I visited the Immigration bureau to check the status of the participants' COE. From today handling charge are raised; therefore, there were so many people stood in line yesterday. It was not so crowded today.

The last day of September.
It was a rainy day.
There was a farewell party at night. Therefore, I walked to the station in the morning, and came back home by taxi.
Since we have been very busy, this was the first time for us to have dinner together. It was supposed to be all members, but two could not join and one became later, and one left earlier.
I live in far away, therefore I only joined the first party.
