It was fine but rather cool.
I went to nearby shrine before going to work as a 15th day ritual.
After work I went to Onarimon to attend a dinner party. It was convenient because the venue was located on my commuting route. It was 167th meeting of Liberty Evolution Business Spirit. This was the first time for me to attend there. There were about 30 people. Since I was a newcomer, I was given s few minutes to introduce myself.
They will have the150th event next month, on November 19 though it has been done 167th.

It was slightly raining.
I went to Kimono-style Miya to have my hair set and dressed and attended Rabuhei's 45th anniveresary at the APA Hotel & Resort Yokohama Bay Towers which opened last month. It was a party of about 150 people or so and there were many guests' speech and songs. It lasted for two hours or so. I enjoyed meeting new people.
After that I visited my friend and some shops and learned many things.
It was a nice day.
It was fine after the typhoon No.19.
According to TV news it left a great deal of damages here and there especially near the rivers. It seems this was a recordmaking heavy rain and tragedy.
I wrote the draft of my 7th ebook in the morning.
In the afternoon I went grocery shopping and filled up my car.
I booked the flight, bus, and hotel for the trip next month. There is still something to do.
The great news of today was the win of Japan Team at the Rugby World Cup against Scotland by 28-21 and became the 8th for the first time. Congratulations!
It's been raining. The typhoon No.19 (Hagibis) hit Japan. They say this is tte biggest typhoon ever.
Many train companies decided not to operate today. So I did not go out and stayed at home all day long.
I prepared kimono for the day after tomorrow, washed summer clothings, and made the third "Thank you" Mandala.
Today in 1992 Expo '92 finished.I still remember the day well.
It was cloudy in the day time but became rain in the evening. The super typhoon will come tomorrow and my seminars scheduled tomorrow were canceled and I booked other dates.
After work I had dinner with my friend. She treated me which was unexpected, even more she gave me many presents because I invited her the special birthday dinner the other day.
We went to cafe later and practiced speaking English. It was fun.
It was fine in the daytime but became rain at night.

I attended a surprise birthday celebration before noon. It was planned by a student and not only his students but also staff and faculty are invited to join. We sang and took pictures. It lasted for less than 5 minutes or so but I believe the dean whose birthday is Sunday was pleased with being celebrated by his students and colleagues. Happy birthday!

I attended the research positioning meeting in the morning. It is exciting to listen to the progress of ongoing research.
Tonight there was a big news. Professor Akira Yoshino will be awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He researched Lithium ion battery at a Japanese Company, Asahi Kasei. He is 71 years old. From the TV interview we know he is a nice guy. His smile is so nice. He mentioned the importance of persistency and flexibility. He is the 27th Japanese winner and the 8th in Chemistry after 9 years. Congratulations!
It was fine but cooler than the weather forecast said.
Todayvis kanro (寒露), literally cold dew. It is one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. Last one was shubun (秋分), on September 23, and the next one is soko (霜降) on October 23.
They say tomorrow it will be the coldest morning.
I am glad to finish the second mandala using 9 protection colors.

I have just watched a new TV drama. October is one of the new TV seasons.I may keep watching that drama.
It was rainy in the morning and afternoon but it stopped in the evening. It was rather cool today.
First I went to Shinagawa to see friends.
Second I went to Mita to attend an investment seminar.
Third I took my friend to a Sushi meeting. This was the second time for me to attend. It was nice to eat delicious 13 sushi and learn about how to invest where when.
It was fine and hot.
In the morning I ordered to pickup the goods to deliver. Since I needed to leave home before 2 pm I called them if it is possible or not. They said probably not. After that the driver called to say no. However in a few minutes he called again and came to pick up the goods.
How lucky I am!
There was a train accident and some train services were not available. I was going to use Yokohama city subway, but when I got to Kamioooka, it started running again and I didn't have to use the subway. I feel I am lucky!
In the afternoon I went to Kimono-style Miya to have my hairset, makeup, and dressed. I met some friends there.
At night I had dinner with a friend at the French restaurant of 68th floor. To our lucky we saw the fireworks festival at Tamagawa. I felt lucky again!
It was heavily raining in the morning but when I got to Tokyo it was fine.
After work I attended a monthly meeting. To my lucky I could walk to the venue. It started at 6 pm, and my work was until 6:15 pm. So I was late and missed the first speech part. It lasted for more than two hours.
It is nice to talk with people who have the same mission or dreams.
It was fine.
I went out for lunch at a Chinese restaurant with co-worker.
There were some works I was asked to help in the afternoon. It was easy and included much useful information to handle my job assignment near future.
There was a meeting which was also informative.

I left my smartphone behind at home today, therefore I could read ebook which I have not finished by the former smartphone which I cannot use as phone now on the train.
At lunch time I went out.
First I withdrew money from the ATM which recently became available for two banks. But I should have used the original bank ATM to save the handling charge.
Second at the convenience store I bought lunch. After that I felt like eating there and was going to do but I found the sign which said if you want to eat here, you need to tell before paying because the consumption tax of taking out is 8% and eating there is 10%. How complicated it is!
A new month has started.
October is jugatsu (十月), the 10th month or kannaduki (神無月) , literally "Gods without month" in most part of Japan, but kamiariduki(神在月) , literally "Gods exist month" in Izumo area. That is all the gods gather in Izumo this month to discuss.

I started a new job in Jimbo cho, Tokyo and bought a commuter ticket for 6 months tonight.
Since the consumption tax was raised from 8% to 10% today, there was about yen 3,400 difference in 6 months before and after..
