It was cloudy and slightly snowed in the afternoon and became fine but very cold.

It is omisoka (大晦日), New Year's Eve.

How was your 2021?

I watched TV dramas in the morning for two hours or so.

I cleaned the bathrooms and washed the car, and went to my parents grave yard, and shopping.

At night I set up the printer and started writing the new year's cards finally.

I received the calendar I ordered recently, and the memorial thank you gift from the Kainan jinja shrine where I donated for the renovation of the attached shrine.

It was fine.

I made the 30th ebook in the morning, and it was released in the afternoon.

From 14:00 I had a zoom gathering for the New Year's gifts.

I cleaned somehow and prepated for the New Year's decoration.

From 20:00 I held a bilingual good things sharing tea party This was the fourth event which is held from 21:00 on the 30th of the each month. Tonight was irregular.

From 21:00 I had some zoom meetings.

Today is ichiryumanbaibi(一粒万倍日), when one grain becomes 10,000 times.

It was fine but cold.

From today my winter vacation started until Jan.3.

In the morning I attended the zoom morning activity after a long time.  We shared the good things happened this week, top three events of the year, and the one kanji character for 2022. My kanji for 2022 is 楽, which means to enjoy and easy. 

After having brunch I headed for Sugita to have my hear cut and perm.

I went to Kawasaki to see the movie "The Matrix Ressurection" which I did not understand well.

I went shopping, but I could not buy the calendar I hoped. I'd better order by mail.

I bought "My Book" which looks like a book, but inside is white. We can write our own stories of 2022 like diary.  I have written this book series more than 20 years.

I bought some groceries too.

Free promotion of my 29th e-book was over. It became No.1 in Japan, Spain, the Netherlands, and the USA.

It was fine, and Mt.Fuji looked so beautiful.

I walked to the station to drink tonight.

Today was the last day of working at office this year.

I went to health check for the second time at lunch time.

After work I had a year end party.

It was fine.

The other day I booked a restaurant from website for tomorrow. I thought it was booked. Today I happened to find an email that the reservation was canceled. I did not. So it seems they cannot prepare the table for us.

I happened to find a better place. So I hope I can book.

Unfortunately I could not book the one. So I found another place.

I hope it will be the better one.

At night there was a year end party, which is called "Bobenkai (忘年会)" by zoom. This was the first year end party. It was fun.

It was fine in the morning, but it snowed in the afternoon for a while. It was a very cold day.

I attended four zoom sessions today.

Around noon I went shopping for the New Year decorations.

To my glad my 29th ebook became No.1 in 5 sections in Japan,  2 sections in Spain, and 3 sections in the Netherlands.

It was fine.

I stayed at home all day long.

In the morning I had a zoom sesssion one by one.

At night there was another zoom session by a singer. There were some participants and I enjoyed talking at breakout rooms.

It was fine, and Mt. Fuji looked beautiful.

December 23 was used to be a national holiday called Tennotanjobi (天皇誕生日), Emperor's birthday during the Heisei era. He became 88 years old, which is called beiju (米寿). They say he is the oldest emperor in the confirmed history.

For the most of colleagues today was the last working day this year though I work until 28th.

It was fine.

Today is toji (冬至), one of nijyushisekki (二十四節気), the 24solor terms.

The last one is taisetsu (大雪) on December 7 and the next one is shokan (小寒) on January 5.

Toji is winter solstice when the day time is the shortest in a year.

On this day we eat pumpkin and the foods which has the sound of "n" and take yuzuyu (柚子湯) bath with yuzu for not to get cold.

It was fine.

I saw the beautiful big moon in the morning.

There was a guest at the office. She decided to come suddenly so that we could not have lunch together unfortunately.

After coming home, I attended a big exchange meeting hosted by the same study group friends.

After self introduction, we presented the person or things we appreciate. I appreciate the friends who downloaded my ebooks and made them No. 1 in many countries, healthy body, jobs, house, information  and so on.

It was fine but cold. 

At office an American colleague brought four different cookies which were tasty. Last week she gave us three different cookies which she baked. There are so many variations. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I got the first Christmas card from the USA today.

I watched some TV programs which were over tonight.

Recently I started something which is bringing good results. It is amazing.

It was fine and very cold.

I stayed at home all day long. In the morning I received two re-delivered goods, and new year's cards.

I cleared kimonos.

Yesterday I got two bags of okara at the Tofu shop in Hadano, and cooked one of them with carrot and dried burdock. This was the first time for me to cook okara.

Today is the full moon.  I attended the Full Moon Exchange Zoom Meeting to celebrate beforehand.

There were four sessions.

It was fine and Mt. Fuji looked very beautiful.

I got up early to attend the morning zoom body adjustment lesson.

I left home around 8:20 am to go to Izumotaisha shrine Sagami bunshi branch in Hadano with my friend. There are many springs here and there and I enjoyed clear waters.

Four of us visited the shrine, and enjoyed shopping local sweets and foods.

Two of them went home soon,  and my friend and I enjoyed eating delicious lunch.

After that I went to Yokohama to go to banks, and went to a kimono shop, and went to buy a printer.

It was a nice fruitful day.

It was heavily raining in the morning, but became fine in the daytime as the weather forecast said. It rained heavily again with strong wind.

It was a payday.

After work I dropped at Yokosukachuo to go to some banks.

After considering what to buy for treat, I bought taiyaki (鯛焼き) with three different taste. It is a sea bream-shaped pancake filled with sweet red bean paste. One is chocolate and strawberry, the other is Pistachio, another is sweet red bean with chestnut. I liked chocolate and strawberry the best.

It was fine.

When I got to the parking area of the station, I found there was only left glove. I wondered where was the right glove. I am glad to find it at the parking lot of my house.

I got sweets of Kyoto and an apple at office.

At night I attended a zoom seminar.  There was only me as an audience, and we enjoyed chatting.

It was fine but very cold this morning.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to office as a ritual of the 15th.

There was signal inspection and my train was delayed about an hour.

After work I went to Ueno to attend an exchange meeting for Power Spot Meisters. I arrived about one hour later. We enjoyed listening to the "inside story" of publushing a book.

It finished around 10 pm.

I came home just before midnight.

It was cloudy and rainy, and very cold. The coldest day in this winter. Front shield was frozen this evening for the first time this winter.

There was an announcement of Kanji of the year yesterday.

It is kin (金) which means gold. If you read it as kane, which means money.

There were Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic this summer, and many Japanese got gold medals which is the main reason.

This was the 27th event.

There were 223,773 applications and 10,422 (4.66%) voted for gold.

This is the 4th time when gold was chosen.

There was a zoom study meeting at night.

It was fine.

After 5 days off, there were lots of paper works and meetiings.

On my way home, I dropped at Kurihama to buy masks.

What are the differences before COVID-19 and now?

For me wearing a mask is one of them. 

I cannot travel abroad easily is one of them.

I have attended many zoom events and got to know many people is one of them.

Things have both good sides and bad sides.

It was fine.

There was a community service, cleaning the community building for the year end, this morning.

After that I headed for Kimono Style Miya to have my hair set,  makeup, and dressed up, and I visited Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan temple as usual.

There was the first book publishing celebration with lecture by Meikai Fujimoto at the Meijikinenkan from 14:30 to19:30 followed by autographing and photo session.

Agter that eight of us had dinner.

It was a nice day.

I checked out around 10 am and left the baggage and went to the Estination hotel to check lunch menu.  However morning menu was still available and I decided to eat.

After that I walked around and went back to hotel 

to pick up the baggage snd headed for the airport.

I could see the beautiful scenery including Mt. Fuji and the sunset.

It was a nice trip to Okinawa.

It was fine.

I attended the half day tour to go to Sefa-utaki (斉場御嶽), the most sacred place in the Ryukyu Kingdom and Valley of Gangala. It was a very special experience.

It started around 7:30 and ended 13:00.

After that I went to the Information and had lunch at their recommendation. I went back to the hotel once to leave a jacket and went to the nearest beach and the shrine.

I came back to the hotel again to get a jacket and went to the Shuri-jo castle to see the sunset. It was so beautiful.

After that I took a bus to the International Street and shopped.

After having supper, I came back to the 

hotel and attended a zoom seminar from 21:00 to 22:30.

It was fine.

I took one day bus tour to Daisekirinzan(大石林山) which started at 7:40 am and ended at 18:40.

We visited Higashi village Mangrove Park (Fureai Hirugi Park), Ogimi Village -Yambaru Forest Visitor Center - Done Theater, Kunigami Minato Shokudo for lunch, Kunigami. Kunigamni villll

Kunihami～7Oage- Secret Phot Spot, Cape Hefo, Daisekirinzan, Okinawa Rail Ecology Center, and Roadside Station- Yui Ayui Kunigami.  There were four presents.

At night I met a travel club friend and her classmate and had dinner.

It was fine.

I went to a travel agency nearby to book the one day tour for Friday.Since the minimum number is two and I am the only one who wants to attend, therefore I am not sure if there will be the tour or not until tomorrow.

After that I went to the public market and had lunch. 

I walked around the pottery street and went to the National Theater Okinawa to attend a Conference which lasted for more than four hours.

There were many surprises which looked very promising the better future.

I came back by bus and had supper by convenience store foods.

At night there was a zoom meeting.

It was fine in the morning, but became rain.

Today is taisetsu (大雪), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. The last one was shosetsu (小雪) on November 22, and the next one is toji (冬至) on December 22.

After work I went to Haneda Airport and took the night flight at 20:15 arriving at Naha, Okinawa around 23:00.

When I got to Okinawa, I found the many phone calls from the reserved hotel. Their front desk is closed at 23:00 and I was asked to come to their sister hotel.

Since I could not eat dinner, I bought an instant noodle ony sold in Okinawa.

I got up early,  wore the kimono, and went to the Kimoni Style Miya to have my hair set, makeup, and dressed up.

After that we got on the limousine and enjoyed champaign inside and have our pictures taken outside. Landscape of Yokohama is really picturesque.

After that I went to Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan temple as usual.

I went to Yokohama to have High tea & Afternoon tea with Zoom friends. It was the first time to see each other face by face. We had a good time.

After that I went to Tokyo to attend a monthly meeting which was exciting.

It was a nice eventful day.

I got up early and wore kimono, and took the 7:30 train to go to Omiya.

I took a day off to attend a tour by Mr. Fujimoto. We had lectures, ate delicious lunch, and visited the Omiya Hikawa Jinja shrine.

Weather was perfect and we had a good visit.

It was fine, but it seemed to have rained here in the daytime.

There was the 20th Conference on Competitiveness 2021.  Three companies were awarded the Porter Prize.  One of them was Cainz.  There is Cainz near my house. So it is a little bit familiar.

Tonight I cooked yama kurage, literally mountain jellyfish, which I bought at Mt.Oyama last Sunday.

It was heavily raining early in the morning, and I was going to bring the big umbrella, but when I left home, it was slightly raining. When I got to Tokyo, it was already fine and I did not have to use it. However due to the heavy rain my train was delayed for 30 minutes or so.

A new month has started. December is junigatsu (12月 or 十二月), the twelfth month. It is also known as shiwasu(師走), literally means teachers run.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work as the fIrst day ritual called otsuitachi mairi (お朔日参り).

I made a photo album of November choosing 20 pictures.

At lunch time I went to the post office. They say they will charge to transfer money if it is made by cash from next year.

At night I attended an online celebration event.

It was fine, but it seems to have rained in the daytime around here because the earth was wet when I got back to my station.

I published the 28th ebook today. It is about Nepal where I visited in September 2011.

At night I had a zoom tea party to share the good stories happened in November in English. Three of us enjoyed a lot.

It was fine.

There were thin white clouds like waves and wings in the morning, and I saw the beautiful Mt. Fuji and the half moon.

In the morning there was an accident and the train delayed a little bit.

On my way back I saw the new Keikyu train with the bathrooms. There are fewer seats than usual and I had to stand.

Usually I wait for another train to sit, but there are lots of things I want to do at home and chose to stand.

It was fine.

I got up early,  made lunch, left home before 6AM  and went to Isehara to get together with 6 Reiki friends to go up to Oyama Aburi Jinja shrine located at the top of Mt. Oyama at 1,251.7 meters high.

Weather was perfect and Mt. Fuji looked so beautiful and we could see not only Enoshima and Miura peninsula, but slso Chiba, Tokyo and Izu peninsula.

We really had a good time.

It was fine.

I took a trial seminar about fun reading in the morning. It is a kind of speed reading but the main point is not speed but fun. Using four different brain functions at the same time and enhancing the right brain. It was interesting.

After having lunch I went to Sugita, then Ueno to visit the calligraphy exhibition and visited the Bentendo and Daikokudo at the Shinobazu pond.

At the Ueno park I happened to see the moving exhibition of Patrick Gerola, and asked him to take a picture with me.

After that I went to Roppongi to visit the Izumo taisha Tokyo branch and two art exhibitions at the National Art Center, Tokyo.  I met some Strings Mandala Artists and talked and took some pictures.

After that I went to Yokohama to see a Japanese movie "Moe yo ken (燃えよ、剣)" Baragaki, Unbroken Samurai.  Last Sunday I visited Takahata fudoson temple and knew it has a close relationship with Shinsengumi (新撰組), especially Toshizo Hijikata (土方歳三) and Isami Kondo (近藤勇). And I felt that I'd better watch this movie while it is showing.

At night I atteded a zoom seminar, and after that I had a chance to talk with my friiends over the phone for nothing. It was nice to talk to know each other without paying and worrying about the cost.

Online seminars are very convenient because people from different places can get together easily without paying transportation. This was one of the benefits we got from the Covid-19 situation, wasn't it ?

Happy Thanksgiving Day!!

It was fine.

It is Thanksgiving in the USA, but not.in Japan.

So we do.not have anything special to eat.

At night I attended an exchamge meeting, snd there were thee breakoit roons. Each time there was a theme about Chridtmas. When did you know there is no Ssnta? What did you get for the Christmas present ? What fid you eat for Christmas? 

I did not remember well when I was small.

At lunch time I went out to visit the Iwate products market which opens only once in a month.  When I went to the place, the venue itself was closed.  I was wondering what has happened.  I just walked around and found the market at the end of the corridor. I was glad to find it but unfortuately there were nothing attracting me this time.

At night there were some options to do  and I chose the PC support meeting.

Today I got an invitation to the end of the year and the beginning of the year service from the  Kashihara Jingu shrine in Nara. There was a present of ingredients of making Toso (屠蘇), the new year celebration sake in the envelope.

It was fine.

Today is a national holiday called Kinro kansha no hi (勤労感謝の日), Labour Thanksgiving Day.

It was used to be Niinamesai (新嘗祭), a Japanese harvest ritual.

There was a Niinamesai, Shinto ritual festival at the nearby shrine and I went to see it around 3PM.

After that I went grocery shopping.

I cooked rice with the one I got at the Izumo shrine the other day.

It was a rainy day.

Today is shosetsu (小雪), one of nijushisekk (二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. Last one was ritto (立冬) on November 7, and the next one is taisetu (大雪) on December 7.

Shosetsi literally means small snow and taisetsu literally means big snow.

November 22nd is known as iifufuni hi (いい夫婦), Day of the Good Couples.

I left home around 9:20 and went to Ono jinja shrine where my friend dedicated the dance.

After that I went to Takahata fudo temple. There were many things to see there.

Then I went to Otori jinja shrine for Ni no tori (二の酉), the second cock market.

I had dinner with my advisor of the graduate school after a long time.

I went to Kimono-Style Miya to have hairset, makeup, dressed up, and my pictures taken.

After that I visited  shrines and temples.

Today is the fullmoon, and also lunar eclipse.

I saw the vague moon from the train.

I watched a movie my power spot meister classmate was one of the main characters on the train. It was interesting.

Today is the opening day of Beaujolais nouveau.

On my way back I attended a zoom follow up seminar on the train. It was supposed to finish at 10 pm but lasted for more than one hour and a half.....

After waking up, I fell asleep, and got up at the time I usually leave home. I was in a hurry and took a later train and managed in time.

At lunch time, I went out.

At night when I was reading the newspaper, I happened to find an article which my neighbor posted. I was surprised to see the age.

I have felt muscle pains on my calf and thighs because of climbing Mt. Misen since yesterday.

Today it was broadcast the YouTube by Mr. Fujimoto which we witnessed the recording at the Takenoya in Izumo in the night on November10.

I am glad to see that finally.

I went to the nearby shrine before taking a train as the ritual of the 15th day of the month.

Today is shichihosan (七語), literally seven, five, three.

Those who have children at the age of seven  five, and three usually have them dressed up and go to the shrine to pray for their healthy growth.

I checked out the hotel in the morning, left the suitcase there, and headed for Miyajima by train and ferry. 

There I visited the Itsukushima jinja shrine first as usual.

I was not going to climb Mt. Musen, but after all I used the ropeway and went up there. Weather was nice, so as scenery. 

After all I stayed there two more hours and decided to take a later train.

I came home around 11:30 pm.

It was a nice trip to Sanin Sanyo.

It was fine.

My uncle came to the hotel to pick me up at 9 am, and we went to our family graves at Koenji temple and Jissoji temple for my grandmother's side.

After that we went to my dead aunt's house. It's been just a year since she  died of cancer.  

We went to a crab restaurant to have lunch. I love crab, so as my aunt in law.

I went to Shukkeien garden, and met a Facebook friend. It was the first time to see each other, however we enjoyed talking as if we have known each other for a long time.

Finally I met my ex-colleague of the first year of teaching job to have dinner.  It's seen a while since we  saw each other .  We enjoyed eating and talking.

It was a nice day.

It was fine and partially rained.

I met my friend after a year and went to Jinnoko lake and Daiseiryu jinja shrine for the first time. There were many good things happened and we had a good time there having lunch at a very nice place and had sweets at a special place my friend recommended.

And we went to Ogashira jinja shrine and Imose no taki waterfalls after a year.

At night I met two friends at a nice place to have delicious dinner. We have known for four months or so through zoom, but this was the first time to see each other. We enjoyed eating delicious foods and talking.

It was fine, cloudy, and rainy but every timing was perfect and I did not have to use an umbrella.

I got up around 6 am and after the TV exercise, I changed to kimono, and ate rich breakfast.

We left for Miho jinja shrine and Bukkokuji temple around 9 am and came back to Izumo around 16:00.

I had tea and dinner with participants of the tour and came to Hiroshima by bus.

It was a nice trip to Izumo for the third time.

It was fine in Hiroshima, but partially rained on my way to Izumo, happened to find a beautiful rainbow in a valley, and slightly rained in Izumo but I did not have to use an umbrella.

I left the hotel around 8:30, and took a long distance bus to Izumo stopping at Enokawa for 10 minutes, and arrived at Izumo city and changed another bus for 30 minutes and arrived at the Japanese style Inn named Takenoya which owner is a famous pop singer song writer, Maria Takeuchi.

We visited the Izumo Oyashiro shrine for three hours, had a delicious dinner, and had two hours and a half lesson at night.

It was a nice day.

It was a rainy day.

Today is Ichi no tori (一の酉), the first day of cock market. In November on the day of cock which happens every 12th day, there will be a market at the cock related shrines. There will be two days of cock this yeat. So I will go to Otori jinja (大鳥神社) shrine on November 21 for ni no tori (二の酉), the second day of cock market, so called tori no ichi (酉の市). I thought it was a nation-wide festival, but found out they were more popular in the Kanto area.

After work I headed for Hiroshima by Shinkansen. It takes about four hours.

Hiroshima station was so changed in a year.

It was cloudy, fine, and rainy.

Today last year I was in Sensuijima, Hiroshima and celebrated the new-born birthday on the boat.

A year passed so quickly.

I will go to Hiroshima tomorrow night and to Izumo the day after tomorrow.

I am looking forward to visiting some shrines and temples for three years straight.

It was cloudy.

Today is ritto (立冬), one of the nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. The last one is soko (霜降) on October 23, and the next one is shosetsu (小雪) on November 22. Ritto literally means stand winter, and it is the first day of winter.

I went shopping in the morning.

From 11 am to 4 pm there was an online festival to make both adults and children happy by my classmates. It was a nice opportunity to know them.

When I checked FB messenger, there was a message of chair yoga starting in 5 minutes.

I felt lucky and enjoyed practicing after a long time.

I prepared Kimono for the next week.

In the afternoon I went to Ikebukuro to attend a special SDG's event which I got the invitation with a friend. It was held outdoor and it was rather cool. There were many programs in less than two hours.

The seat numbers were 99 and 100. Isn't it great?

There were sometime before the event, I visited my ex-work place.

After that we went to have dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Since it's been a long time since we met last, we enjoy talking while eating.

It was fine.

I took an hour off to attend a monthly meeting. I was escorted to the front seat in spite of arriving just a few minutes before starting. I felt so lucky. It was nice to hear the success stories.

I walked to the place. It is one stop by subway but I could walk within 20 minutes or so.

It is a national holiday called Bunka no hi (文化の日) , Culture Day.

First I went to the Beauty Salon in Sugita to have my hair cut and permed. I asked the owner to bring all the comic books of Kimetsu no yaiba (鬼滅の刃), which is very popular in Japan and enjoyed reading three books out of 20 or so.  

After that I visited a kimono shop and Softbank.

Second I went to a travel agency in Shinagawa to book the tickets for the next week.

After that I could buy mini roll cakes of chocolate taste at GODIVA which was sold out the other day using a gift coupon I got for my birthday.

It was fine.

I read many ebooks today on the train. Some were as a free promotion, others were Kindle Unlimited, and another was a part of the book for a sample.

Ebooks are very convenient, and I enjoy reading a lot.

At lunch time I watch NHK's morning drama. The new series started yesterday. I also watch YouTubes.

At night I attended a monthly forereading meeting.

There are many things we can enjoy for nothing.

A new month has started. November is juichi gatsu (11月 or 十一月), the eleventh month or shimotsuki (霜月), frost month.

November is the start month for tea ceremony world.

I changed the leaves, rice, and salt of the house shrine in the morning, and went to the nearby shrine before going to work.

At lunch time I went to some banks and the post office to transfer money. To my interest handling charges were quite different by the mode and sending banks.  Between the same banks, it cost yen110, from a bank account to another bank it cost yen330, and from the same bank window by cash it cost yen440. If it was from the different bank, it costs yen660.  If we use the internet banking, it is much cheaper.

It was a rainy day.

I slept long without using the alarm because I decided not to go far away.

I am glad to receive the delivery I ordered yesterday.

There was a general election and I went to vote in the evening. Voting time was from 7 am to 8 pm, and now every TV program is dealing with the result.

At night I attended two zoom programs.

Today is the last day of October.

It was fine. Mt. Fuji, the sun shine, blue sky were so beautiful.

I sleep long without using an alarm.

I had a seminar in the afternoon, and one on one talking session, and another seminar at night.

From 21:00 I held the second bilingual tea party to share good things happened in October. It lasted for more than two hours. There were four participants today and we enjoyed talking about shrines and temples.

It was fine.  Mt.Fuji, sunshine, and blue sky were so beautiful this morning.

To my glad, my 27th ebook became No.1 in three sections in the USA and Japan.

I am so glad.

In Brazil it was No.2 and No.3.

Today I got a present of delicious sweets by post from my friend who wanted to send them for my birthday. I enjoyed tasting as my celebration of becoming No.1 in both Japan and the USA.

It was cloudy and rainy.

This morning I saw Mr. Shinjiro Koizumi, ex Minister of Environment at the station because of the general election campaign. His father is Junichiro Koizumi, former Prime Minister who was graduated from the same high school as mine. I think Shinjiro Koizumi will also be a Prime Minister some day.

It was rainy in the morning, but it became fine.

Princess Mako, 30 years old, got married and the couple had a press interview. There was no wedding ceremony nor reception which is rare. They will go to the USA after her passport is ready.

It was fine in the morning, but rained in the night and became very cold.

I got up early and left home earlier and went to clinic to submit something I could not submit last week.

It was fine.

I went to Kawasaki to watch three movies, 2  Japanese and 1 foreign one for nothing. 

I enjoyed the first Japanese movie titled "Sori no otto (総理の夫)" First Gentleman.  

Second was "No time to die 007" 25th James Bond series, and the last 007 movie by Daniel Craig.

Third was "Yuuko no tenbin (由宇子の天秤)", Yuko's balance. It was a deep psychological movie.

I am glad to use all the free tickets of stockholders for this period.

After coming back I went to fill my car up and grocery shooping.

It was fine.  

Today is soko (霜降), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24solar terms. Last one was kanro (寒露) on October 8, and the next one is ritto (立冬) on November 7. Soko literally means frost fall. It is the time when dew becomes frost by cold air.

I slept long without using an alarm and stayed at home all day long. 

How nice to sleep as long as I want to!

I am making the 27th ebook. I read my diaries during the trip and recalled what I did and felt at that time.

It was a cold rainy day.

These days there are many free presents on SNS.

I saw a post of my friend at Facebook that someone write one Kanji charactor by inspiration. Kanji charactor has meanings and it seems proper kanji for her so I applied. It was so  popular that she got 200 applications and needed time for a while. Finally I got the one. It was 架 (ka).

It is composed of two parts, 加 and 木, which means add and tree, and as a whole it means shelf on the tree or something.  But I am not sure why she got this charactor by inspiration. 

They say she has another campaign for channeling with kanji which usually costs yen 5000, but now for yen 2500. She will give a card message.

Today I got some pictures from Kimono Style Miya.  They were taken by the professional photographer on October 3 in Yokohama. They are nice, and I uploaded to Facebook.

Many people put "Very good" and "Good" and left favorable messages.

It was fine and beautiful.

Mt. Fuji looked so beautiful covered with snow about half hight.

I took a comp holiday.

I went to see a movie at Hibiya with a friend. The title is "Drive My Car" which lasted for three hours. It got some awards at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. It was a deep story.

After that we had lunch and visited two shrines and had tea & cake.

After coming home I cooked supper.

At night I attended a zoom event of precelebration on the fullmoon night.

I saw the beautiful full moon.

It was cloudy and very cold. We used the electric stove today.

I felt lucky because I saw the beautiful moon of the 13th night last night.

On my way home there was a train accident and I had to change the train at Yokohama.

It took about half an hour longer to get home.

It seems winter has come.

I went to once a year health check this morning. It took about two hours.

On my way home I dropped at Keijyu Kurihama to shop.

At night I saw the beautiful moon. It is called jusanya (十三夜), the 13th night wich is September 13 in the luner calender and is supposed to be the beautiful moon. I feel lucky to see that.

It was a cold rainy day.

I slept long without setting the alarm after a long time. How nice it is to sleep as long as I want to!

I stayed at home all day long on the contrary to the schedule I planned before. 

In the afternoon I listened to the recorded seminars .

There were two zoom sessions tonight.

One was one by one session, and the other was a webiner.

I decided the places of my 27th e-photobook.

It was cloudy and rainy.

I had three zoom sessions today. 

One is from 10:00 to 12:00 for the Red Dragon for one vs some listeners with some counselors.

The other is from 13:00 to 16:00 about Cosmic Brain Reading for one vs three listeners.

Another is from 21:00 to 21:20 for Personal characteristics for one by one.

I enjoyed the last one talking many things each other.

After the second session I went to a Kimono shop and there was a lecture about Tsumugi (紬). We saw some products from Oshima, Yuki, Niigata, and Ryukyu for samples, and tried to wear for some.

Whenever I hear how to make kimono, I know the reasons why they are so expensive. It takes much time and they can only produce one in a few months.

I got up early and went to the nearby shrine before going to work as a ritual of the 15th day of the month.

There were many things to do, but it was fruitful.

Since it was a pay day, I dropped at Yokosukachuo and visited some ATMs.

After coming back hone, I attended exchange meeting of Power Spot Meisters. It was fun. There were many synchronicities.

It was fine, and the sunset was so beautiful.

Octiber 14 is tetsudo no hi (鉄道の日), Railway day. It was established to commemorate the first railway between Shimbashi and Yokohama on October 14, 1872. 

I attended the memorial event in Shinjuku several years ago. It seems there is no such event this year because of Covid-19.

It was a rainy day.

I was busy at office.

My free promotion of the 26th e-photobook was over. I got some 5 stars and reviews. To my glad it was ranked as No.1 in all foreign books in Japan, and No. 1 in 6 sections in Japan. It was ranked in UK for the first time and became No.2 there. In the USA it was ranked as No.2 and No.3 in two sections. In Brazil it was ranked as No.5 or so, and in India it was also ranked.

Today is Columbus Day.

29 years ago of today Expo92 ended after 6 months. Working there was the life changing experience for me.

I am glad to be in the UK for the first time. It was the second place. I posted about it in Facebook and got many congratulatory comments in spite of the second place.

It was fine.

After four days off there were many things to do at work.

On my way back home, I read some ebooks.

At night I listened to Facebook Live of Life Elevation Club.

After that I had a zoom session of Birth Color Therapy. There were 12 colors, and I chose 7 colors (2-3-2) which represent past-present-future. It was fun to know what I do not know.

My 26th ebook is ranked as No.2 in UK. This is the first time to be there.

It was fine and warm.

October 10 was used be Taiiku no hi (体育の日), Day of Physical Education to commemorate the Tokyo Olympic 1964.

Now it becomes the second Monday of October and called Sports no hi (スポーツの日), Day of Sports.

But this year it was moved to August because of the Tokyo Olympic 2020.

I stayed at home to attend a zoom lecture from 10:00 to 16:00 and went grocery shopping.

I cooked supper.

It was fine and very hot.

I went to Atsuta jingu shrine with my friend in the morning. There was the bell blessing in front of the main hall. Since I have never seen that is done at the tent I felt lucky.

There is a recently opened sword museum, and we enjoyed taking pictures with heavy swords.

There was a wedding ceremony and we felt lucky again.

It's been 8 months since I visited there last time, and there was a big change at the station. The shopping place was closed and move to the other side of the railways. I bought raw Nagoyan which is a local sweet there.

We went to Takeshima and met another friend and enjoyed the rest of the day.

It was fine and rather warm.

I attended a tour of My Meikai Hiroto Fujimoto (明階 藤本宏人) to visit Tsubaki ookami yashiro shrine and Tado taisha shrine in Mie. 

I went there in February with a friend, and climbed at the top of the mountain. So this was the second time for me to visit there this year. We had a prayer ceremony with dedicated dances. So it was quite different from the last visit.

After coming back to Nagoya, I came back to the hotel to leave things, and went to see my friend to have dinner. We have known each other through zoom sessions, but this was the very first time to see each other face by face. It was fun.

It was fine and warm, but slightly rained in the evening.

I took a comp holiday.  There was something wrong with Ecocute, and I ask the repair in the morning, but the serviceman came after noon, and I gave up watching a movie.  

I went to Shibuya to see 2021 Luna Flora - Clay Flower Exhibition because I got invitations. 

I went to learn to make clay flower a few years ago, and my teacher's artwork was exhibited too.

I went to Suidobashi to attend a monthly meeting.

I was surprised to hear that there happened a big earthquake in Saitama and Tokyo.

It was fine and rather warm.

I have just heard that Prof. Shukuro Manabe, 90 years old,  will receive the Nobel Prize in Physics. Congratulations!!

Mr. Fumio Kishida became the 100th Prime Minister and the new cabinet was organized yesterday. There are 13 new ministers who joined the cabinet for the first time.  The youngest is 44 years old, and the oldest is 77 years old. There are three women out of 21 ministers.

At night I attended a monthly zoom meeting about number secret.

It was fine.

My boss invited me and my colleague to lunch.

We were going to an open air restaurant. 

On our way something attracted my eyes. It was beer barrels wrapped by celebration papers. We noticed it was a newly opened sushi restaurant.

There were tables outside, and we decided to try that restaurant.

They say it opened on October 1 when there came the typhoon No.16, and it was featured on TV program.

When I saw the menu of Hokkai bowl, I thought the ingredients were salmon roe, sea urchin, and scallop, all of them are my favorite. And my boss and my colleague ordered their recommendation which was really picturesque.

When mine arrived, I found there are no sea urchin but salmon.  I got shocked. Their recommendation looked better.

So I'd better try their recommendation next time.

It was cloudy in the morning but became fine.

I went to Kimono Style Miya to have my new kimono dressed, hair set, makeup, got on the man powered vehicle, and video and photo taken.

After that I visited Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan temple and shrines.

I went to Shinagawa to pick up the train tickets and went to Yokohama to see a movie.

On my way back I attended a zoom seminar, and after coming home I attended another zoom study meeting.

It was a nice day.

It was fine in the daytime but became rain with thunder at night.

I attended many zoom & Line meetings & seminars today.

From 8:30 to 9:00 for Laughter yoga,

from 9:00 to 10:20 for one on one session,

from 13:00 to 18:00 for master number seminar 

from 18:00 to 21:00 for international program,

from 21:00 to 22:00 for zoom function sharing meeting.

According to rokuseisenjyutsu(六占星術), Six Stars Fortune Telling  September is not a good month for me, and I have tried to refrain starting something new fir a long time. However according to another fortuntelling, it is a starting month, and from master number study 9 is the best number, and I decided to host a zoom meeting. I am going to have once a month neeting to share only good things by bilingual for a year.

Tonight there was something wrong with the zoom setting, and I could not start at the scheduled time, but we had a good time longer than I scheduled. It was a good start.

I published my 26th ebook. It is a picture book of my trip to south Italy in the spring of 2003.

After coming home I attended once a month zoom meeting. It was to enhance the 6th sense. We tried to think of what the partner was imaging. It was fun.

It was cloudy and cool, and rained partially.

I made "My Wing Art" this morning.

I left home before noon and went to work from 1 pm to 8:45 pm.

There were three sessions and had a guest speaker with simultaneous interpretation for one session.

On my way home, I joined a zoom travel share meeting. I thought it would start at 9 pm, but it started at 8pm, and I missed half of them. Today's destination was Egypt where I have wanted to visit for a long time.

After watching the program, I felt like going there.

I went to work before noon, and started working around 1 pm and finished working around 8:30 pm. 

There were two sessions today which were also interesting.

On my way home I attended a zoom tea party. The organizer was from Aich, a participant was from Rome, and I was from the train. Interesting, isn't it?

Without COVID-19 these zoom events would not have happened regularly.

I came home around 11 pm.

Since it was a national holiday yesterday, there were many things to do.

It was fine.

Today is a national holiday called shubun no hi (秋分の日), Autumn Equinox day when the day time and night time are equal.

I got up and wore kimono and checked out the hotel, left the carry case there and went to Osaka tenmangu (大阪天満宮) shrine, where Michizane Sugawara (菅原道真) is enshrined. 

Next I went to Horikoshi (堀越神社) shrine.

Third is the main event of today. I went to Tennoden (天王殿) to attend a tour to visit Shitennoji (四天王寺) temple to attend the event of nissokan or jissokan (日想観). 

This is the third time for me to attend the event, and I saw the beautiful sunset.

I met some friends too.

It was a nice holiday.

It was fine.

I started the day earlier by taking an earlier train.

From today an international program I am in charge started. It was a really global event, and particpants attended from Asia, Europe, America, and South America. For us who live in Japan it was from 2 pm to 8 pm, but for those who from South America was from 1 am to 7 am, and I felt sorry for them.

The contents were very interesting, and I am very glad to be in charge of this program.

After that I headed for Tokyo station to get on 9:03 Shinkansen bound for Osaka.

I checked in the hotel within today.

It was fine.

After three day weekend, there were many things to do at work.

Today is the fullmoon. It is a very special fullmoon called jugiya (十五夜), literally the 15th night, which is August 15 in the luner calendar and also chushu no meigetsu (中秋の名月), literally mid-autumn Moon or harvest moon.

It's been eight years since jugiya became the full moon last.

The moon tonight is very beautiful.

We, Japanese people love to see beautiful things such as cherry blossom viewing in spring, and red maple leaves in the fall. And we enjoy moon viewing which is called o tsukimi (お月見) decorating and eating sweet dumplings.

It is ichiryumanbaibi (一粒万倍日), when one grain becomes 10000 times.

At night I had a zoom session. I expect this relation becomes 10000 times.

It was fine and beautiful.

Today is a national holiday called Respect for the Aged Day (Keiro no hi: 敬老の日). It used to be on September 15 but it has become on the third Monday of September since 2003.

It is the first day of Autumnal equinox called o higan (お彼岸). So I visited my parents' grave first.

There were many things I wanted to do. I went to Kurihama to visit Tenjinsha(天神社) shrine to thank, and had lunch, and bought erasers for pastel art.

I went to Kameidotenjin (亀戸天神) shrine since high school graduation. Tenjinsha and Kameido tenjin both enshrine Sugawara no Michizane (菅原道真) who is known as a god of study.

After that I went to Ginza to visit Chie Art Exhibition which is held once a year. I am glad to see her and her beautuful healing arts.

After that I went shopping. I am glad to get I needed.

At night I attended a zoom pre-congratulatory meeting. There were four breakout rooms and I enjoyed meeting new people.

I attended three zoom tea party events.

First was mainly listening to host's miracle story in the morning.

Second was a seminar about tea party in the afternoon.

It was rainy.

I attended body adjustment seminar from 6:30am and attended Laughter yoga from 8 am.

I went to Shinagawa to pick up rhe tickets for next week and went to Ueno to attend Minarukane taisai (巳成金大祭). There were so many people and I gave up to visit there but bought the gold coin-shaped charm and special red stamp sheet.

After that I went to Monzennakacho to attend  Fukagawafudoson tour from noon. 

After that I visited Tomiokahachimangu shrine, which is the 8 th of 10 Tokyo Shrines.

We had tea time and had dinner at Moritta in Higashinihonbashi. I met members for the first time but I haf a good day.

It was cloudy and became rain at night.

I worked at home today.  

In the evening I went to Yokosukachuo to go to some bank ATMs and shopping .

At night I attended a zoom webinar for two hours. I expected that my questions would be read and answered, but they were not and I was discouraged. It was like a Radio Program.

Tomorrow is a super snake day, and a good day for visiting Benzaiten goddess. I hope it will be fine.

It was fine.

I finished readina a book "My Stroke of Insight" by Jill Bolte Taylor Ph.D which was very interesting.

I had a chance to attend a lecture by simultaneous interpreters in the morning. I wonder the structures of their brains.

After coming home I had quick supper and attended a tea party of numerology, the Secret of Numbers, which was interesting.  

It is calculated by numbers of your date of birth.

What number do you like? I chose 5. They say it is related with foreign countries, which was interesting.

My number is calculated to four which composed of three and one. The characteristics of four apply

to my characteristics well.

It was fine.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work as a ritual of the 15th day.

At work there were many things to do.

To my lucky I could attend Zen meditation lesson.

After work I went to see a friend after a long time and had dinner at an Italian restaurant where I went to last Thursday too.

We talked and talked. The restaurant closed at 20:00 and we have talked another 40 minutes or so outside.

September 15 used to be Respect-the-Aged-Day though it has become the third Monday of September since 2003. 

According to the newspaper there are 86,510 people who are over 100 years old,  88.4 % are women and men surpassed 10,000 people for the first time.  The oldest woman is 118 years old which is the world record, and the old man is 111 years old.

The average life expectancy for Japanese women is 87.74 years old and for Japanese men is 81.64 years old which are the oldest record in history.

It was fine in the morning, but started raining in the afternoon.

I had a chance to learn Japanese culture in English. It was nice, and I remember what I had been doing in the USA.

On my way back on the train I listened to some recordings. I feel there are lots of things to learn.

Two TV dramas ended happily which is good.

I forgot to bring the commuting ticket this morning because I used a different bag during the weekend, and I had to go back home to pick it up. I am glad to be in time.

I received a dedicated book from a visiting professor through mailbox in the morning and started reading. I happneded to see him who came to a lecture today in the afternoon. It was a nice surprise to see him for the first time and I am glad to thank him directly face by face. 

A good book is a nice gift to learn. I hope to write useful books for many people too.

I have just heard that Shogi player Sota Fujii became the youngest champion of becoming triple crowns by winning Eio (叡王) at the age of 19 years and a month old. Congratulations!!

I stayed at home all day long.

From 10:00 to 16:30 I attended once a month zoom session of the study group.

After having supper I attended another seminar but fell asleep and missed another.

I made another pastel mandala art tonight. Color is good, but design is not so good. However from the distance it still looks good. Isn't it interesting?

At that time I was working at Panasonic. Some bosses were in New York for the business trip and they could not come back to Japan for a while.

I was watching TV news and feeling it must be a scene of a movie or something.

I attended a zoom tea party to know how to wear scarf.

In the afternoon I went to see a movie but gave up.

Instead I went to Oji to visit Oji shrine which is one of 10 shrines in Tokyo. I visied another shrine nearby.

I went to buy fax ink at two places, but there were not and I could not buy.

I stayed and worked at home, and did not go out at all.

I made another healing Mandala art.  Changing color amd using different tools makes possible to create  the works unlimitedly.

It was fine in the morning but became rainy in the afternoon though I did not use un umbrella.

At night, there was Spritual event and I attende by zoom. Since there were many spiritual persons, there happened many strange phenomenon. It is a two nights event, and I am looking forward to tomorrow event.

I made a new mandala art by warm colors.

My 25th ebook became No.1 in five sections in Japan,  two sections each in Germany and the USA. Congratulations!

It was fine but cool. 

Mt. Fuji has the first snow at the top which is about 25 days earlier than usual.

I had a meeting in the evening and overworked a little bit.

On my way home on the train I attended a zoom seminar.

From 9 pm there was the last lesson of the healing Mandala art which lasted for 5 days.

Yesterday we made a 15cm X 15cm Mandala Art,  which were really nice. I felt like producing a book of our works.

It was a cold, cloudy and rainy day.

At night I attended the 4th day lesson of Healing Mandala Art and made a piece of Mandala Art of 15cm X 15cm paper using pastels.

This is the first time for me to use pastel if my memory is correct.

In January this year I published "Art is unlimited" which contains three different Mandaka Arts. So this pastel one is the 4th methods.

I hope to try again using more proper tools.

It was cloudy and cool in the morning, but became fine in the afternoon.

I decided to stay at home and attended some zoom seminars.

Free promotion of my 25th ebook has started since 16:00 this evening. At night it was ranked as No.1 in three sections in Japan.

It was a cold rainy day.

I attended two zoom exercizings in the morning.

I had a chance to talk with a zoom friend whom I met last year. It was a nice opportunity to know each other.

After that I went to Gotanda to attend a monthly meeting.

Then I went to Sugita to visit Softbank first. I am glad to have fixed the time display problem.

Next to the beauty salon which is once in two months refreshment.

After coming back, I attended a Healing Mondala Art lesson of the second day by zoom.

It was an eventful day.

It was a rainy day.

Today was once a week telework day.

I could save the commuting time and attend Laughter yoga in the morning and cook curry for the night party.

From tonight Healing Mandala Art Lesson started which lasts for 5 nights.

I am looking forward to creating a new Mandala art.

It was a cold rainy day.

After work I went to Hibiya to see a Power Spot Meister friend and had dinner.  There were many things I wanted to ask her and everything was answered. I got a present which is a smartwatch to measure body conditions. In 2017 I wore it every day but the charger broke, and I could not use. So I am glad to receive it.

On my way home I attended a monthly zoom meeting to read the flow of the month. After that three of us remained and talked our future plan which was interesting.

2021.9.1

A new month has started.

September is kugatsu (9月、九月) or Nagatsuki (長月) in Japanese.

Today is ichiryumanbaibi(一粒万倍日), when one grain becomes 10000 times. It is a good time to start something.

I arranged new plant, rice, salt, and water of the altar and went to the nearby shrine before going to work as a ritual of the first day of rhe month.

It was cloudy and rainy and rather cool  and ra8ned heavily

It is the start of the second semester today.

They say today is the New Year in the Mayan calendar. Happy New Year!!

It was a memorable month for me. 

My brother and I had the 7th year death anniversary ceremony for my father during the typhoon.

My picture with kimono appeared the best-selling kimono magazine.

My 24th ebook became No.1 in Japan and the Netherlands.

There was the first hybrid commencement.

I traveled to Dewa sanzan last weekend and had very special experiences.

It is already almost the end of August.

How was your August?

Today there was a big event, and I had to present our group's work in English in front of all the staff suddenly in the replace of a colleague whose Internet connection was bad and cut off. It's been a long time since I did presentation in English in front of people.

I feel like creating a Facebook Salon to communicate in English.

At night I listened to Life Elevation Club Facebook live.

2021.8.29

I got up early to climb Gassan(月山), literally Mt. Moon, which is 1984 meters high.

It was fine in the morning, and I saw the beautiful sunrise.

However when we arrived at the 8th points, it was foggy, windy and very cold. We visited some shrines, and at the top we had a special praying ceremony.

Gassan is known as the mountain of the "Past." So I thanked my ancesters.

When we approached the top, it was fine. The  blue sky and green mountain were so beautiful. I saw the beautiful half moon too.

After coming down we got on the lift. 

On our way back to Tokyo, we took a hot spring bath to refresh.

We came back to Shinjuku around 8:40 pm.

It was a really nice trip.

It was tenshabi(天赦日), one of the luckiest days in a year.

I got up early to tske the first train to Shinjuku and attended obe night teo days tour to Dewa sanzan (出羽三山), Three mountains in Dewa. It is s very nice tour.

It rained but still nice.

I happened to see a friend in the tour.

I published my 25th ebook today. The title is My Favorite Places in the USA 1:  Hawaii.

It was fine and extremely hot today.

I am lucky to have worked at home without going out. We are allowed to do telework once a week.

On the day of telework I can save about 5 hours for commuting

Today I attended three zoom events before and after work. I learned something from each anyhow.

I submitted the 25th ebook manuscript.

It was fine and hot.

I took an earlier train than usual.

At night I attended two zoom gatherings. I attendef the first one just for 30, and only introduced myself.

Second one  was for the Egyptian lovers. Unfortunately  I have nevrr been there.

After the world becomes the safe place again, I hope to visit there someday for sure.

It was fine and hot.

Today I transferred yen 33,000 from my bank account to a company account of the same bank's different branch for the business purpose. The handling charge was yen110.

I asked my colleague to transfer yen5,500 to another company account of the same bank of the different branch as her bank for the business purpose. The handling charge was yen220.

If you use the Internet banking, you can save much handling charges.

At night I attended four zoom sessions.

It was fine and hot, but I feel the sunset becomes earlier and earlier. Autimn is around the corner.

From tonight the Paralympic Tokyo 2020 started.

At night I attended Online Business Expo by Zoom and enjoyed three sessions and two lectures. Each speaker offered some free presents.  Isn'tl

It was fine and hot.

Today is shosho (処暑), one of nijushisekki(二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. The last one is risshu (立秋) on August 7, and the next one is hakuro (白露) on September 7.

Shosho is the time when the heat crosses the pass.

I took a compensation holiday of last Saturday.

I went to Shinagawa to see friends and attended seminars.

After coming.back I went shoppping to buy the necessary goods for this weekend trip.

At night I attended a few zoom seminars which were fun.

It was fine.

I went to the Imperial Hotel to have a tea party. There were four members and it was the first time for me to see them face by face. 

We enjoyed talking a lot.

After that I went to Jimbocho to buy stationary, and eat lunch.

Then I went to Shinagawa to see some friends. There were some people on the pedestrian deck and I was wondering why.  Around 2 pm I understood the reason. Blue impulse were flying for the test. I could not take pictures but was glad to see them.

After meeting at Shinagawa I went to Sugita to buy something.

At night I attended some zoom seminars.

It is the fullmoon night.

They say it is a good time to throw away something.

It was fine.

There was a commrncement.

This year we held it by hybrid, I mean onsite and online. This was the first trial. We expected the two-hour ceremony but finished about one hour early.

After that I went to Kawasaki to attend the event to see my friend on the stage, but after all I could not see her.

After coming home, I attended 4 zoom sessions, and enjoyed learning many things.

It was fine.

I worked at home.  It is our once a week countermeasure for COVID-19.

I had a chance to talk with a friend over the phone and got a useful advice about visiting Dewa sanzan (出羽三山).  I need to go shopping.

It was fine and hot.

In the morning I felt that "rainbow" would appear.

I myself did not see, but some friends posted the beautiful pictures of rainbows.

There were many things to do at the office.

At night I had a zoom session. I was surprised to hear that instructor's son became corona because of cluster of the rugby club.

I heard that a friend was in the hospital because of corona.

Since the State of Emergency is extended, our once a week telework will also be extended.

It was fine in the morning, and I felt happy to see the sun after a while, but it rained heavily in the afternoon.

Weather these days is unusual, and heavy rains in Kyushu to Tokai caused big damages here and there.

After coming home I attended a zoom seminar of tsubo (ツボ), acupoints.  It was very useful.

It was a rainy day, but the sun shined partially too.

To my lucky I did not have to use un umbrella.

At night I saw the beautiful half moon.

On my way back I dropped at Yokosuka chuo to go to banks and other places which is my payday's ritual.

I read an obituary of Mr. Maki Kaji (鍛治真起) who is a leader of the boom of Sudoku (数独). He died of bile duct cancer at the age of 69.

My first host mother in Florida loves Sudoku. Sudoku literally means number single. It is abbreviation of "Suji ha dokushin ni kagiru(数字は独身に限る)" which means "Numbers are limited to singles."

And she is also single.

It was a cold rainy day like early October.

Today was the first day after the summer vacation.

I tried online English lessons while I was on the train in the morning and in the evening.  There were four lessons for free, and what is more each movie has a present.  It was good.

It was a rainy day.

I stayed at home all day long and had many zoom tea party, meeting and sessions.

In the afternoon I attended "Nagomi Fes (なごみフェス)" which heals heart and body and joined 6 booths. Some were very informative and practical, others were just talk. Every lecturer offered some gifts and free trial lessons and so on.

These days there are many this kind of events.

It's been raining during my summer vacation and I did not go out, and I attended many online events.

Today is 76th shusen kinenbi (終戦記念日), anniversary of the end of World War II.

2021.8.14

It was a rainy day.

In Kyushu and Hiroshima, it rained extremely heavily.

I stayed at home all day long.

I started the day with body adjusting method from 6:30 am, and attended laughter yoga from 8:00 am.

I watched a specially released movie for today  "Mitorishi (みとりし): Caretaker" online, and NHK drama "Shikatanakatta to iuteha ikan no desu (しかたなかったと言うてはいかんのです)" which was on air last night.

Both were very deep and heavy stories.

I got a call from the travel agency and I can go to Dewa sanzan (出羽三山) tour which I was on the waiting list at the end of this month.

In the evening I had a zoom session, and attended a zoom seminar for three hours and a half at night.

It was a rainy day. 

I stayed at home all day long.

In the morning power outrage. I appreciate the electricity.

I attended two zoom seminars in the morning.

I took a nap in the afternoon.

At night I watched movies.

It was fine and very hot, and slightly rained in the afternoon, and heavily rained at night.

I went to Yokohama to see three movies to use points: one is Jungke Cruise, the other is Belle,  and another is Tokyo Revengers.

I like the first one.  I felt it cost much to make it.

I feel like someday I would like to be the person in the other side to make pictures.

At night I attended the meeting for REIKI teachers.

It was fine.

From today mu summer vacation started.

I attended laughter yoga in the morning.

From 9 to 11am I attended a seminar about Facebook and learned many things. I made a Facebook page which I did not know.

Today is Yama no hi (山の日), Mountain Day. But this year it was transfered to August 8 and August 9 was a transferred holiday.

So this week I only worked yesterday.

Since it is Mountain Day, I booked a tour to go to three mountains in Dewa.

It was very windy this morning.  I thought trains might delay, but it did not.

It was fine and very hot during the daytime. Today was the first moshobi (猛暑日), extremely ot day, exceeding more than 35 degrees centigrade.

On my way back home, I happened to see my high school friend again whom I met a week ago.

I attended a seminar on the train. This was the third and the last session.

From tomorrow there are five days off for a summer vacation.

It was rainy but became fine in the afternoon.

Tiday is a national hokiday called yana no hi (山の日), Mountain Day.

I attended a two hour seminar in the morning which started a half hour later.

After changing to kimono, I went to Kimono-style Miya to have dressed, hair-set, and pictures taken.  It's been a long time to wear today's yellow kimono.

They say according to yesterday's Spirympic reading session, yellow is my guardian color.

So I tried to wear yellow goods today.

At night I listened to Life Elevation Club live, and hair root diagnosis as a gift of attending Love and Money festival last month.

The typhoon No.10 came today, and it rained heavily in the morning, and stopped raining in the afternoon.

I attended the laughter yoga first.

My brother and I had my father's 7th year death anniversary service at a temple, then had lunch together, and visited our parents' graveyard. 

After coming home I attended zoom seminars.

Tonight there was a closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic 2020. How fast two weeks have gone!

Today is the new moon, ichiryumanbaibi(一粒万倍日), and lion's gate.  It looks like a good day to start something.  What would you start?

Today is risshu (立秋), the first day of fall.  It is one of nijushisekki(二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. Last one was  taisho (大暑) on July 22 and next one is shosho (処暑) on August 23.

From today the message of summer greeting card is chsnged to "Zansho omiimai moshi agemasu (残暑お見舞い申し上げます)."

It was fine but rained too in the morning and became fine again.

I stayed at home all day long and attended a physical tuning training from 6:30 to 7:10 am, laughter yoga from 8:00 to 8:30 and, a seminar from 10 am to 4 pm. After that I talked with a friend from Awajishima. It was fun. 

At night I attended another zoom event.

It was a zoom day.

I teleworked and stayed at home all day long.

There are news of gold medals today too.

It was fine and very hot.

I had five meetings at office and there were many things to do and overworked again.

On my way back I attended a zoom event and after coming home I attended another zoom event which is a monthly program and I enjoyed it.

I have a backpain which I used to have before  and feel worried.

On my way home at the Shinagawa station I happened to see my friend from high school. It's been a while since I met him last. On the train we chatted with another classmate who lives in Germany. She will come back to Japan to take care of her mother-in-law at the end of this month. But she will be too busy to see us.

At night I attended a seminar to think of the title of ourselves.

There were many gold medalists today.

A new month has started.

August is hachigatsu (８月、八月) or haduki (葉月) in Japanese.

It was fine and very hot today.

I changed plants, rice, salt, water of the alter, and salt at the four corners of the house and at the entrance, and visited the nearby shrine as a ritual of the first day.

After that I went grocery shopping.

In the afternoon from 1 pm to 5 pm I attended a seminar.

I was surprised to hear that many people earn 8 digit money per month under the COVID - 19.

The last day of July.

It was fine and hot.

In the day time I stayed at home. Soneone came to help me to take care the garden.  How nice!  In the afternoon I attended a zoom tea party which was interesting.

In the evening I decided to see a movie at Yokohama.  There was the one I wanted to see at Hibiya, but it was too late.  So I watched "Black Widow."  It must have cost a lot to make it.

I teleworked today.

There was an announcement that our school earned AACSB international accreditation. It is the 6th school in Japan and the first national university in Japan. I am proud of being a part of it.

This afternoon there was a zoom workshop about experiments. I heard of an example of cultural defferent points of view. It was very intersting and I remembered what I have been interested in. 

When I was a university student, I was interested in cultural differences, why people see and do differently. Is it because of education?

I feel like studying again.

It was fine.

This week there were many online events at night.

Tonight I attended the meeting to enhance the ability of the sixth sense.

We put a strand of hair into a thick book and close it, and tried to find it just from our feeling of fingers or hands. I tried but it took several times until I got it. To my surprise I opened the same page for several times. Maybe it had any meaning.

We had a good time.

It was fine.

Listening to the meditation program, I missed the station and could not buy lunch on my way to the office.

So at lunch time I went out. Once in a month there is a market of Iwate products at the Takebashi station building. About three or four months ago I bought reimen (冷麺), cold noodle there and it was very delicious. Last month they did not have them, and I bought two kinds of seafood instant soup.  Today they had reimen for half price. I felt lucky.

Today is the day of the ox during doyo (土用の丑の日: doyo no ushi no hi), which is about 18 days before the first day of fall. On this day we eat grilled eel as a lucky food.

The typhoon was supposed to come but it seemed to have changed the route. So I did not have to use an umbrella.

It was fine.

This morning I published the 24th ebook. It is the 11th e-photobook of My Favorite Places series. Its title is "My Favorite Places in Spain 1:  Canary Islands. It is a collection of the pictures of my trip to Canary Islands in August 2008.  There are 7 main islands there but I could only visit two of them.

Therefore I hope to visit all of them someday.

This time I wrote it by three lanuguages: English, Spanish, Japanese.

To write a book in three languages has been one of my dreams. Since this is a photobook, it is a bit different from my intention. But someday I hope to write a decent book to introduce Japan and Japanese culture.

It was fine and very hot.

I stayed at home all day long, watching some Olympic games on TV, washing, and writing the 24th ebook which is the first trilingual book.

I am glad to see some Japanese got the gold medals.

I started the day with laughter yoga.

I changed to kimono and went to Sugita first, and had French lunch at Sakuragicho.

I visited Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan temple as usual.

I went to Kimono-style Miya to ask for laundry.

I went to Yokohama to check the lottery I bought near Hoto jinja in Saga. I bought 13 lotteries for yen 1,600.-. There was only one lottery which happened to get two prizes, and I got  yen1,000.-.

At night I had two zoom sessions.

The second day of the four-day weekend.

It is fumi no hi (ふみの日), Day of Letter.

The opening ceremony of The 32nd Tokyo Olympic 2020 has finally begun.

At the very moment I was at the Tokyo station and watched the count down.

This morning I prepared lunch and headed for the Tokyo station to attend a shrine visiting tour to Arayayama jinja where I have wanted to visit for a long time.

To my lucky I was allocated in the car No.1 which is a very fortunate one.

It was a nice day.

First day of four days weekend.

I slept long, and stayed at home all day long.

I had chances to talk with many people by some followup zoom sesson and other things.

Some Olympic games have begun. I wonder why. The opening ceremony will be on Friday.

Women's football team was draw.

I am glad that from tomorrow we have four days off weekend.
