It was fine.

New month has started. December is junigatsu (12月 or 十二月) or shiwasu (師走) in Japanese.

There are something I do on the first day of the month. One of them is to change the plants, rice and salt of the Shinto altar. The other is to change the 5 mounted salt. Another is to visit the nearby shrine. 

There is only one month left. 

How was your 2023 so far?

I have traveled around Japan a lot but not abroad yet.

I have started the new job.

I got the license of tour conductor.

I have enjoyed wearing kimono and eating Afternoon Tea.

I have published more than 100 ebooks.

Today I went to the gas station to fill up the car. It ran about 500km this time.

It was heavily raining early in the morning, and I was going to bring the big umbrella, but when I left home, it was slightly raining. When I got to Tokyo, it was already fine and I did not have to use it. However due to the heavy rain my train was delayed for 30 minutes or so.

A new month has started. December is junigatsu (12月 or 十二月), the twelfth month. It is also known as shiwasu(師走), literally means teachers run.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work as the fIrst day ritual called otsuitachi mairi (お朔日参り).

I made a photo album of November choosing 20 pictures.

At lunch time I went to the post office. They say they will charge to transfer money if it is made by cash from next year.

At night I attended an online celebration event.

It is hard to believe there is only one month left.

Before going to the office I visited the nearby shrine as a ritual of the first day of the month.

In the afternoon I watched "Brand Japan Award Ceremony" by YouTube. It was very interesting.

I did not know Calpis has more than 100 years of history.

Today there was an announcement of the word of the year. Sanmutsu (3密) was chosen for the grandprix. Sanmitsu means 3C in English: Crowded places, Closed-contact Settings, and Confined and enclosed Space.

December is jyunigatsu (十二月) or shiwasu (師走) in Japanese.

I can't believe there is only one month left in 2017.

In the morning I visited two shrines, one near my house, the other near my office as a custom of the first day of the month which is called "Otsuitachi mairi (お朔日詣り)."

After work I went to Tokyo station to get on the Hokuriku shinkansen. My destination tonight is Kanazawa. I took 19:24 train arriving at Kanazawa at 21:55.
To my surprise it was full.

I ate seafood sushi for dinner.

It is slightly raining here in Kanazawa.

There  is only one month left.
Time to think about the plans of year end party and holiday season.

Today after work I attended the open lecture by a famous psychiatrist at school. Its theme was "Why people are deceived?"
It started at 6:30 pm and finished at 8 pm. There were more audience than last time.

This is the second lecture of the four lecture series. I am not interested in the next one, but I hope to join the last one.
