2020.5.5

It is a national holiday called kodomo no hi  (こどもの日), Children's Day. It is also called Tango no sekku(端午の節句). Those who have son in the family decorate helmet at home and carp streams outside. On this day we eat sweets named Kashiwamochi (柏餅) and chimaki(粽), and take a bath with shobu (菖蒲).

Today is rikka(立夏), one of nijushisekki(二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. Last one is kokuu (穀雨) on April 19, and the next one is shoman (小満) on May 20. Rikka literally means stand summer, it actually means the start of summer. Actually it was really warm.

Today I attended the zoom laugh yoga in the morning, zoom tea party in the afternoon. After that I went grocery shopping. I got a book present.
At night I attended a special zoom session. It was a good day.
