2015.8.18

It was a strange weather again.
Since two typhoons are coming, it was rather windy.

Today we put my father into the coffin which we call nokan (納棺). There are certain manners for each religion. Our religion is jyodoshinshu (浄土真宗). Therefore we did not need to put him white clothing because they believe people become Buddha as soon as they passed away and there is no need to travel with white costume.
However after all we covered him with white futon and could not see what he wore.
Other religion put a knife on the chest or coffin but ours does not and put something else.
The way to use the stick scent is also different. We do not stand them but lay them on the ash.
