It was fine.

March 3 is known as Joshi no sekku (上巳の節句) or Hina matsuri (ひなまつり), Dolls Festival or Girl's Festival. Families with daughters decorates dolls and eat chirashi zushi (ちらし寿司), clam clear soup, hina arare (ひなあられ), hishimochi (菱餅) and so on.

March 3 is also known as mimi no hi (), Day of ears.

I had a zoom meeting in the morning.

After lunch I went to Yokohama to see a Japanese movie "Perfect Days"  and went to Sugita to have my hair cut and perm.

At night I had another zoom session.

March 3 is known as Hina matsuri (ひな祭り), Doll's Festival. Families with daughters decorate dolls, eat chirashi zushi with clam soup wishing their daughters' happiness.

There was only one subject today. It is about the domestic fare. There are 6 JR companies and the regulations are so complicated.

I enjoyed learning the unknown good deal tips.

I had an appointment for consultation at night with an instructor whose online seminar I took recently.

I felt I have met him before when I attended the seminar, and I asked his name. Indeed he was the person I studied with several years ago and lost contact.

We enjoyed talking to catch up.

It seems the redelivery came while we were talking, and I missed receiving again.

It was fine and rather warm.

March 3 is hina matsuri (ひな祭り), Doll's festival or joshi (上巳) or momo no sekku (桃の節句), peach festival. 

It is one of the five sekku (節句), seasonal festivals. Other four festivals are jinjitsu (人日) or nana kusa no sekku (七草の節句) on January 7, tango (端午) or shobu no sekku (菖蒲の節句) on May 5,  shichiseki (七夕)  or tanabata (七夕) on July 7, and chouyou (重陽) or kiku no sekku (菊の節句) on September 9. 

Families with daughters decorate hina ningyo (雛人形) dolls and wish their healthy and happy growth. 

Special menu on this day are chirashi zushi (ちらし寿司) and hamaguri (蛤) cram soup. Sweets are hishi mochi(菱餅), hina arare (ひなあられ), and sakura mochi (桜餅). Drink is shiro zake(白酒). We decorate peach flowers too.

It was a very cold rainy day.

I stayed at home all day long.

March 3 is known as Hina matsuri (雛まつり), Doll's Festival. Those families who have girls decorate hina ningyo (雛人形) dolls and eat chirashi zushi (ちらし鮨) and clear clam soup to wish their daughters' healthy growth.There is sweets called hina arare (雛あられ), too.

March 3 is also the Day of Ears from their shapes.
