It was fine.
I left the carry case at hotel and headed for Kashima jingu shrine. On my way I happened to see the parade. I watched them for more than half an hour and visited the shrine. After that I followed the parade to the port. This was the main part of the once in 12 year's festival. After seeing the boats, I went back to the station and moved to Itako, to see another part of the festival.
After that I headed for Katori jingu shrine. Transportation was not good and I had to walk 2 km one way, and 2 km way back.
I went back to the hotel once and walked to the third shrine, Ikisu jinja shrine for another 2km. Office was already closed. I walked back for 2km again.
I took the 7:30 PM bus to Tokyo, and came home around 11 PM.
I walked a lot today, more than 33,000 steps.
It was a nice holiday.
