I was rather busy at work.
So I was going to work at home tomorrow but canceled.
There are two peaks in my work, in Spring and Fall. There are many paperworks and events.
For me it is interesting to know the cultural differences.
Today we thought of names and dates.
In Japan our name usually consists of surname and given name in order.
But children from international family have middle names in between.
However in some culture there is only one name and there is no family name.
It is very difficult to have one form to fulfill every case.
Regarding dates the Japanese way of saying is the order of the year, month, day.
But in some culture they start from day, to month and year. In other culture they say the order of month, day, year.
If the day is bigger than 13, there is no problem. But if the day is from 1 to 12, there are two possibilities. So we'd better try to write the month by name such as January, February, March, and so on.
