It was cold today and in Shinjuku there was still snow left at the roadside. But they say in Hokuriku (北陸) area the first gale of spring (春一番: haruichiban) blew today. In Hokkaido there was snow storm. Japan is a small country but I feel it is still big having winter and spring at the same time.
