It was cloudy, windy and slightly raining in the morning. When I got to Shinjuku, I did not have to use the umbrella, but at night it was raining and I had to use it. It was rather chilly.
The flower of the rainy season is ajisai (紫陽花：hydrangea.), literally purple sun flower. There are many colors such as blue, pink, purple, white and so on. They change the color from blue to red purple therefore they are called shichihenge (七変化), literally seven changes.
At my house they are still buds, but on my way to the station I see some blooming.
