It was fine.

It's been seven years since the Great East Japan Earthquake happened. Seven years is the same length as the newly-born baby enters the primary school.
How was your life changed?
I became not to wear high heel shoes.

Today I went to Yokohama to see a movie "Ku-Kai (空海)." It was quite different from what I expected. Kukai is one of the most famous Buddhist priests about 1200 years ago. The movie had another title "Legend of Demon Cat." So it was something unusual.

After that I went to Shinagawa to see friends.

２月１８日（nigatsu jyuhachi nichi）： February 18

There was an award ceremony of the Japan Academy Prize. Last year when I watched the movie Kokuhaku (告白), confession, I felt this movie will get an award someday for sure. And it became true. That movie got the best film prize and best director prize.
Last fall a Japanese actress Fukatsu Eri (深津絵里) got the best actress award at the Montreal Film Festival. Her movie Akunin (悪人), bad man got the best actor prize, best actress prize, best supporting actor prize, and best supporting actress prize.

八月六日(hachigatsu muika) ： August 6

It's been 65 years since the world's first atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima (広島). Up to now 269,446 people have been recorded as death as a result of the atomic bombing. 　We are not sure how many people were suffered in total. But there are still many people struggling for both physically and mentally.
There was a memorial ceremony today and the representatives from 74 countries including the USA, UK, and French attended. The U.N. Secretary general also attended and made a speech.
As a citizen of Japan, the only country that experienced the catastrophe, I really wish the World Peace.

Tonight I went to see a movie "SALT" starring Angelina Jolie. I did not expect before watching, but I found she was a great action actress. It is a double spy story, a series of betraying. As a movie it is powerful but as a story I am not sure what SALT wanted to do after all. I believe there will appear the Part II someday.
