2026.11.4

It was cloudy and became rain and rather cold.

There was a meeting, and I knew how to read the pay slip before signing the 36 agreement which defines about overwork.

Japan's Labor Standards Act sets hard limits on working hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. The maximum overtime hours are daily 4 hours/day, monthly 45 hours/month, and annually 360 hours/year. However, if there is an agreement, they are extended.

I have already worked twice more than 45 hours/month during past 6 months.

My salary includes 30 hours deemed overtime. So, when I did the math, it ends up being cheaper per hour than a temp worker.  Therefore, I got shocked about the salary of my overwork.

Time is very important. Every day I needed to overwork.  When the busiest time, I came home by the last train for a week.

I want to change this situation somehow.
