2026.6.12

 It was cloudy.

There was an event I wanted to attend and tried to apply from the site opening time of 9AM. But when I opened the website at 9 AM, it was already closed.

I hoped to go to Shinjuku to visit an event with my friend tonight, but I overworked again until 9 PM and could not.

There are so many things happening to deal with at office every day, and I cannot have a private time after work.

To my glad my 210th e-book has been No. 1 in the USA.

2025.4.8

It was fine and cloudy.

There was a big event at work and I was very busy all day long.

On my way home I went to a gas station and filled up my car. This time I drove about 500km.

There was a zoom event at night.I am excited to attend the big event next week.

I started booking.

2025.1.8

It was fine but cold.

There was a new year greeting by the  president. He asked us to change from last year.

There was a new year party after that.
Since it was canceled last year, this was the first time for me to attend this kind of event.

At night I attended Ken Honda's webinar after a long time. This was the first of the three night session. I am looking for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

I am trying to make the 152nd ebook.

2020.12.3

It was cloudy and cool today.

I am planning many things.

I was going to see a movie in the morning of Saturday but I found today was the last day of showing. How shocked!
I think we should do something when we want to do. Otherwise the chance will leave without waiting for us.

I have been thinking whether I should attend the event next month or not. I feel like attending but I need to take at least a half day off and it costs a lot. But I applied.

At night I attended Month reading zoom session for two hours or so. It was fun and we decided to get together for the special interest meeting in four weeks.

2019.12.5

It was fine.

There were two big events today.

In the afternoon there were Conference of Competitiveness 2019 and Porter Prize Ceremony.  Four Japanese companies were awarded and there were interview sessions with CEOs. After the recess there was a lecture titled "How CEOs Manage Their Time" by Professor Michael Porter of Harvard University followed by panel discussion. It lasted for four hours.
It was more interesting than I thought.

After work I attended monthly meeting which is held at the beginning of every month. I was late for an hour. After the meeting I asked the question and felt relieved.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

2019.3.10

It was fine in the morning but became cloudy in the afternoon, and rained in the evening.

Today is my dead mother's birthday. So I decided to visit my parents' graveyard.

After that I went grocery shopping and filled up my car.

In the afternoon I went to a beauty salon to have my hair cut and perm.

2018.10.21

It was fine after rain. In the morning and evening it is a bit cool, but daytime it is very comfortable.

There was a community cleaning up event from 8 am. This is the twice a year event. I saw the very beautiful Mt. Fuji on my way to clean up. I feel grateful to be able to live in such a beautiful place.

After that I went to Hinodecho to get massage. This is my once a month healthcare event. Massager advised me to do stretch at night because my body is so stiff.

After that I went to Shinagawa to see friends.

I wanted to see a movie but again the timing was not good and I gave up.

So I went to Hinodecho again to visit the Kimono-Style Miya. They were having a shooting event with Dandy-Sakano who is a comedian. There were still beauticians and dressers, and I decided to be dressed up and have my hair done and makeup, and have my pictures taken.

I feel good when I wear kimono.

It turned out to be a very good day.

2014.10.14

It was very fine after the typhoon No. 19.

There was a lunch party of faculties and staffs.  It was a nice chance to know each other.
At night there was another party of the world award celebration.  It started at 7pm and ended at 9pm.  There were nearly 60 participants. I could talk with some people.

To know something new is very interesting.

2014.9.19

It was fine.

There was the matriculation ceremony for three graduate school students at the church.  This was the first time for me to attend this kind of formal event.  It lasted for about half an hour and was very impressive, especially the formal wear, pipe organ music, the choir, and messages.

After work I went to attend Mr. Ken Honda's lecture with my friend. This was a commemorative lecture of his books of six million selling.
It's been three months since I went to his last lecture.  To our surprise he prepared a rose for each one of audience. I am so glad to get the one.  The person next to me came from Iwate. We enjoyed talking a lot.

2014.6.20

It was cloudy but very hot.

I took an earlier train than usual in the  morning to leave earlier in the evening.

In the morning Japan time during most people's commuting hour there was a World Cup game of Japan and Greece.
Some people went to the office or sports bar earlier to watch the game on TV, others were trying to watch it on their way to work by smartphone or something. I just watched the last five minutes or so on the train. The result was a tie of zero vs. zero.
Many fan were disappointed because they wanted the Samurai Japan to win.

After work I went to attend the lecture by Mr. Ken Honda and bought the latest book to get his autograph.
There I met an aquaintance whom I got to know at his last event.

2013.3.28

I took a compensate holiday to attend stockholder's once a year general meeting so-called kabunushisokai (株主総会) in Shinjuku.  It seems there were more than 1000 stockholders gathered.  This was the 2nd time for me to attend.  This is a recreation company and the meeting was held at the movie theater which is one of the biggest theaters (1288 seats) in Japan.  Good thing is they give the participants a box of sweets, two free movie tickets and a free drink every year.  With the register card you can watch a movie today.
Last year there were many questions and answers and suggestions.  So were this year.   Good thing was last year's proposal was granted from this year in many points.
In the night I attended the wake (tsuya: 通夜) of my friend's father.  He is a high school classmate.  At the venue I met about 5 old friends from the same high school.   Whenever I attend the wake or funeral, I feel it is a present from the deceased.  Because we usually can't get together.

2012.7.28

The 30th London Olympic Games had just begun.
Before the opening ceremony, there were already some soccer games or so.
I like to see the Olympic Games and have been to see something at Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Nagano 1998, Sydney 2000, Salt Lake 2002, and Athene 2004.
I wanted to go to London this summer but I did not arrange because my friend in London said it is very difficult to get the ticket even living in London.

There was a big fireworks festival in Japan.  The venue is Sumida river (隅田川:umida gawa).  Since I am in Shinjuku (新宿), I hoped to see it too, but I was very busy at night and could not see them.
It was a very hot day and I got sun tan.
