It was fine and hot. 

After having breakfast I listened to the archive lecture of Day 4 which I missed the other day.

I left the hotel around 11:30 and headed for EXPO. I could not make any reservation again.But I enjoyed some exhibitions and shows.

However, on my way back to the hotel, trains stopped and we had to wait for more than two hours at the exit.

I managed to come back hotel around 1:30AM.

It was cloudy when I checked out the hotel but when I arrived at Yumeshima station it was heavily raining and I got wet.

I could not book any pavilion but enjoyed visiting many countries.

To my glad I got a postcard of San Marino by chance. They say first 10 people visited the pavilion get a special present. So I rushed and fell on the slippery marble.

To my lucky I got a beautiful key holder.

I decided to visit all ASEAN countries today and completed and got a present. It was a card type USB.

The highlight of today was to see my EXPO 92 companion friend who usually lives in Madrid, but is working at EXPO. It's been 23 years since I met her last in Madrid.

I walked more than 24000 steps.

2024.12.15

In the morning I attended the bimonthly morning service at the Tenkawadaibenzaitensha shrine.

After having breakfast I walked around for an hour.

I was sent to the bus stop and went to Dorokawa Hot Spring and visited Ryusenji temple.

There were other places I wanted to visit but it was after snow and I gave up.

I went to Kashihara jingu shrine by trains. I climbed up the Mt.Unebi, 199.2 m.

I came back to Osaka and had dinner and went to the hotel to pick up the suitcase.

I enjoyed the open air garden.

I took a night bus at 21:45.

It was a nice trip.

2020.9.23

It was fine in Kansai but cloudy and rainy in Tokyo.

I took a day off.

I checked out the hotel and headed for Kyoto, and took a Shinkansen at 10:30 and arrived at Shinagawa at 12:38.

At Kyoto station I bought my favorite Kaki no ha zushi for lunch. There were 7 pieces of sushi with seven different ingredients. Very delicious.

After arriving at Shinagawa, I left the carry bag at the coin locker and headed for Ueno to attend Minarukanetaisai festival at Bentendo. There was time before that and I visited three shrines nearby.

The ceremony started at 14:00 but we could not enter the hall as we used to because of COVID-19.

I bought a special red stamp and gold coin for this occssion.

After that I went to Shimbashi to visit my friend's art exhibition.

I came home around 17:30.

It was a nice vacation.
