2025.12.31

It was fine.

The last day of 2025.

The last day of the year is called Omisoka.
We usually eat soba noodle wishing the long life.
Many people watch NHK's kohaku uta gassen, Red and White Song Battle at night which lasts for more than four hours.

How was your 2025?
I have traveled a lot.
I went to Korea in July and Uzbekistan in November on business trips. It's been more than 6 years and a half since I went abroad last.
I have visited many shrines and temples in various occasion.

I tried making home made plum pickles, plum juice and plum wine for the first time.

I published 40 ebooks.

It was a good year.

2023.12.31

New year's eve.

It rained in the morning but became fine in the afternoon.
We can expect to see the first sunrise tomorrow.

I stayed at home and prepared for the New Year such as inhouse shrine and new year's cards.

How was your 2023?

Mine was another impressive year.
From January to March I studied calendar reading and tour conducting.
From April I started the new job.
Almost every month I went somewhere.
I enjoyed visiting waterfalls, having Afternoon Tea wearing Kimono, meeting friends, watching movies, publishing 50 ebooks, and so on.

2022.12.31

It was cloudy but I saw the beautiful sunset.

I stayed at home all day long.

For lunch I ate French toast after a long time.

There were many things to do on the New Year's Eve. Some were done, others are still on the way.

To my glad my 60th ebook became No.1 in the Netherlands.

Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.

2020.12.31

The last day of 2020.

It was fine.
I attended a zoom meeting in the morning. Half of the members attended. There was a surprise. I was appointed to escort the first new year's event as a power spot meister. It is a great honor but after many things considered, I decided to decline the offer.
Maybe next time.

This year I have not prepared the New Year's Cards yet by now, and finally today I was writing them. To my shock my printer suddenly became out of order and needed to be repaired. I decided to use the old one. It was OK at first, but there happened something wrong and I could not print addresses. I feel depressed.

There were lots of things I was going to do, but I couldn't.

How was your 2020?

I believe for most of the people it became an unforgettable year.

Nobody foresaw what we are experiencing now at this time of last year.

For me there were good things and bad things.
Thank you for everthing.
I hope 2021 will become a better one.

Have a nice New Year 2021!

Thsnk you, thank you, thank you.

2014.12.31

New Year's Eve is omisoka (大晦日) in Japanese.
It is a day for osoji (大掃除), general cleaning and toshikoshi soba (年越しそば), year passing noodle.

UsuallyI watch some TV programs but this year there are something wrong with antenna and I cannot watch TV.
So it is somehow different.

How was your 2014?
I think mine was good to get a new job, to have attended many events, and traveled a lot.

I wish you a happy new year 2015!
