Today is geshi (夏至), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24 solar tems. Last one was boshu (芒種) on June 6, and the next one is shosho (小暑) on July 7.
Geshi is summer solstice, when the daytime is the longest in the year.
I worked at home. During lunch time I visited the nearby shrine, the City branch office, and the post office.
To my glad my 83rd book became No.1 in the USA and Japan.
