It was fine but cold.

Today is the last working day of this year at the office. We call this shigoto osame(仕事納め).

Many people are already in the winter vacation. There is no special ceremony at my office but some people visited to greet and brought some calendars and pocket notebooks.

I went out for lunch at a shabushabu restaurant. The wash room there was very unique, and if you were a first comer, you would never know how to open it because it looked like a bookshelf.
There were three different soup tastes, and we can choose either steamed rice or rice with broth called zosui (雑炊) or noodle. We chose rice with broth which is made after enjoying meat and vegetables.
It was delicious.

It was a cold rainy day.

There happened something, and my train was delayed for a while on my way to the office.

In the morning there was a lecture. After that we went out for lunch at a Shabushabu restaurant nearby. Shabushabu is a popular winter pot dish.  There were 2 choices of meat: beef or pork, and 4 choices of dipping sauce: citrus vinegar, sesami, tomato, and soy bean, and 2 choices of either noodle or rice. We enjoyed eating and chatting.

It was fine.

I took one hour off at lunch time to meet a seminar mate of MOVE 500th course held in the first weekend of this month.
He showed interest in my book at the workshop of the first day and I brought my book next day but he was in a hurry on the second day and I could not give it to him.
There is a seminar I wanted to invite him tomorrow, but he will not be available. Instead he had time for lunch today. So we met at my favorite shabu shabu restsurant near my office and we ordered beef, pork, and octopus and shared. There are only 5  portion octopus for a day. Fortunately we could order it.

He is a company owner in Mie and has had many unusual experiences. It might be intertesting to write about his life story.

We have something in common so we enjoyed eating and talking.

I hope he will enjoy my book.

It was fine.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work.

At the station I met my teacher of junior high school. It's been a year since I met him at the station. Today there must be entering examination for high school.

At lunch time five of us went to have Shabu shabu (しゃぶしゃぶ), which is my favorite winter pot food. It was the second time four us to go there. There are mainly two choices, either beef or pork. There are four sauces and you can choose two of them. You can choose either rice or Kishimen noodle. Last time I chose beef with tomate and soy milk and noodle. This time I chose pork with soy sauce with citrus and sesami and Kishimen noodle. I exchanged one piece of meat. They were delicious.
We visited the Izumotaisha Tokyo branch after lunch. This was also the second time to visit there.

At night I went to Shinagawa to attend a seminar. This was the third time for me to attend this one. I happened to see a Facebook friend after a year or so.

It was busy but rather a nice day.

The last day of November. There is only one month left.

I enjoyed "the fall of art" visiting many exhibitions and "the fall of appetite" visiting many delicious restaurants,

It was fine but cold today.

It was a long day, but very interesting to see many people.

Eight of us went out for lunch at a Shabu shabu (しゃぶしゃぶ) restaurant nearby. Shabu shabu is one of my favorite winter dishes. You dip the sliced meat and vegetables into the boiling water and eat with different sauce. I usually use the sauce made of soy sauce with citrus juice or sesami taste. However there were four tastes to choose today and I tried tomato and soy milk which I have never tasted before. You can choose either beef or pork and rice or noodle called kishimen (きしめん). I chose beef and noodle. Beef lunch costs yen 1250 and Pork lunch costs yen 980. I liked the restaurant because each one of us could use self pot.
We all liked the restaurant so I am sure we will visit there again.
