2015.7.6

It was a rainy day.

There was the final match of FIFA World Cup 2015. Nadeshiko Japan could not be a champion this time though I did not see the match.
One of the players Sawa Homare attended the world cup for six times which is the outstanding record.
I heard women players in Japan are in hard condition compared to men or foreign counterparts. They need to have regular work to live and practice after that.

If there is enough money, there are many things we can change the society.

2014.7.14

It was fine and very hot today.

The FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil was over this morning after about a month's series of games.  Samurai Japan could not win any game, which was very disappointing.  I only watched a few games on TV, and knew the results from the news.
When we had a big reunion of high school in March, we decided to have the one every four years in the World Cup year.
I hope next time Samurai Japan will win some games.

2016.6.17

It was cloudy but very hot.

Since the World Cup began, some people might have felt the lack of sleep.
There is about 12 hours time difference between Japan and Brazil, so for us the Japanese first match from 10 AM to 12 PM on Sunday was good time to see on TV.
However other games were played in their day time which is our after midnight time, so it is rather difficult to see all the games.  Live games are so exciting that recorded one is not so attractive.  I am not a big fan but when they shoot at goal I feel good even if it is not Japanese team game.

六月三十日(rokugatsu sanjyunichi): June 30

The last day of June, that means a half year has passed. How was your half year of 2010? For me many things happened, and are still happening.

For Japan we had many things too.

Last night there was a match between Japanese team vs Paraguay team at the FIFA World Cup Finals. After the extended game, Japanese Samurai Blue team was defeated by the penalty shoot out of 5-3. They could not be Best 16 but had a good game though I did not watch by live.
In tonight's news they say many boys started joining the soccer team dreaming of the future World Cup games. Good luck!
