2025.1.15

It was fine.

Today is my dead father's 90th birthday.
It's been 10 years since I celebrated his birthday last.

January 15 is known as koshogatsu (小正月), literally means small new year. It is the first fullmoon of the new year in luner calendar. The customs remain after changing to the Gregorian calendar. There are some events such as burning new year's decoration but I do not do anything special by myself.

There was a progress at work.

At night I watched a recorded lecture for visiting Ise.

I started preparing the 153rd ebook.

2021.1.15

It was cloudy.

Today is my dead father's 86th birthday.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work as a ritual of the 15 of the month.

January 15 is known as koshogatsu (小正月), literally small new year.
Depends on the region there are some festivals to burn the new year's decorations called sagicho (左義長) or donto yaki (どんと焼き). Because of COVID-19 I wonder how many places had such events.

Since it is payday I dropped at Yokosukachuo to go to banks.

After coming back I talked with a friend from JICE where I worked from 2009 to 2013.  It was nice to catch up each other.

2020.1.15

It was cloudy and rainy in the morning but became fine.

Today is my dead father's birthday and I ate sponge cake for breakfast.

January 15 is known as koshogatsu (小正月), literally small New Year or onna shogatsu (女正月), women's New Year. There are events called sagicho (左義長) or dondo yaki(どんど焼き) which burn the new year's decoration depends on the place. There is a custom to eat azuki gayu (小豆粥), red bean porridge.

Before taking a train I visited the nearby shrine as a 15th day's ritual.

There were many things to do at work. The new phone set arrived and we set just before leaving the office because cordless handsets needed to be charged for more than 10 hours. At first we could not set well, and tried to power off and it worked. Reboot is always helpful.
