 It was cloudy and slightly raining.

There were many things I had to deal with today at office.  

There was a meeting in the afternoon.

I overworked till 7:30 PM or so and came home around 9:30 PM.

I have a registered mail which is needed to re-deliver, but it would be impossible to be delivered during weekdays. Now I am thinking to take a few hours off to go to post office to get it before going to office.

I have been looking for a restaurant or izakaya where to have a farewell dinner for my colleague this Friday.  There are two choices, one is the close place, the other offers the favorite foods.  Which should we take?

There was an interesting case about birthday celebration, and I felt like knowing the cultural difference. In some countries, the birthday person throws a party and offers cakes or gifts. In other countries, people around plan a birthday party for the birthday person. How is the custom in your place?  In my case I like to throw a party for birthday person, especially a surprise party.

It was fine.

I needed to send some emails for work.

I went to Kurhhama to buy Unlimited JR train pass for autumn and headed for Sawara to see the Fall festival.  

I arrived at 11:10 at Sawara and walked aroud the town and stayed until 19:20.

I came to Utsunoniya at night.

 It was fine.

I walked to the station because there was a farewell party for my colleague who entered at the same time as myself.

There were many things to deal with today.  First, I had to attend an emergency online meeting for two hours and a half. There was another meeting in the afternoon, but when I went there it was already finished.

One of the colleagues who left at the end of last month came to visit the colleague to say goodbye. 

So, five of us went to the farewell party. The restaurant was recently open, and the name plate was still old one and we could not find the place.  Though I chose there because of private room, the next room was too noisy.

We went to the second party, but I left earlier for the last train.

Since I had to wait for the taxi, I came home after midnight.

 It was fine.

It is Kanro (寒露), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気) 24 solar terms.  The last one was Shubun (秋分) on September 23, and the next one is soko(霜降) on October 23. Kanro literally means cold dew.

There were two meetings at office.

We got Japanese sweets which was very delicious.

I planned the schedule of Saturday.

 It was fine.

I decided to pick up the registered mail at the post office before going to work. I visited some banks too.

On my way to the office, I also visited the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau to check the status of applied COE.

I left the office one hour earlier than usual to go to see a concert "Pianomen 2026" at SCG Hall Ariake where I went to for the first time.  There were four pianists playing for 30 minutes each with guests.  I did not know most of them. But I liked their performance, especially improvised medley.  I envy those who can play instruments. I wish I could play any instruments too!

I went there with my friend from the Ability Garden where we learned much business knowledges 23 years ago.

After the concert at the station, I met my friend who invited me to this concert.

 It was fine.

Today was the last day of my 221st e-book campaign.  After all it became No. 1 in the USA and Japan and ranked in in Bazil.

There were many troubles to deal with at office, and I overworked till 8:30 PM or so.

We decided the place for farewell and welcome dinner this Friday. I proposed two places and four of us talked and decided.

On my way back I checked emails and felt like traveling red leaves places by bus tour.

 It was cloudy.

There was a Hatsui Festival in Enoshima jinja shrine at 10 AM, therefore I was going to take 7:03 train but could not get up.

I arrived there after 20 minutes or so. I attended the festival, visited four shrines, took pictures of roses, and headed for Sakuragicho to attend the once a month seminar.

Before the seminar I visited Iseyamakotai jingu shrine, and after the seminar I visited Naritasan Yokohama branch.

I went to the Harbor View Park by Akaikutsu sight seeing bus and enjoyed seeing roses. I walked to Yamashita Park, and saw roses too.

On my way I dropped at Kurihama and enjoyed shopping.

 It was fine.

In the morning there was an advertisement of the nearby supermarket for the 1st anniversary's sale, I went shopping before going to Shinjuku.

In Shinjuku I met my friend from Matsumoto for lunch.  After that I saw her son and friend.

I was going to see a movie but decided to see her friend whom I met in May. We tried to go to coffee shop but there were many people, and we decided to go to restaurant. At the coffee shop I was shocked to know that the birthday gift coupon from my friend in May was valid until Sep. 30. I should have used it earlier.

At night there was a zoom event.  I watched a movie on TV.

It was cloudy.

It was the last day for my 220th eBook campaign.  To my glad my 221st eBook has been No. 1 and the 220th eBook has been No.2 for a while in Japan. 

I am not sure why, but I have had a stomachache at night for two days. 

There were many email communications and a zoom meeting today and I overworked till 8:30 PM or so and came home around 10:40 PM.

I have been looking for a restaurant to have lunch with a friend at night.

2026.10.1

 A new month has started.

October is jugatsu (10月　十月) or kannazuki (神無月) in Japanese.

There are some rituals I follow on the first day of the month.  One is to change plants, rice, salt at inhouse shrine, the other is to visit the nearby shrine which is called otsuitachimairi (お朔日参り), another is to post the good day information of the month's calendar.

It was cloudy at first but became fine after a long interval.

This morning I visited the Immigration bureau to check the status of the participants' COE. From today handling charge are raised; therefore, there were so many people stood in line yesterday. It was not so crowded today.

From today my 221st eBook promotion campaign started. 

2026.9.30

 The last day of September.

It was a rainy day.

There was a farewell party at night. Therefore, I walked to the station in the morning, and came back home by taxi.

Since we have been very busy, this was the first time for us to have dinner together. It was supposed to be all members, but two could not join and one became later, and one left earlier.

I live in far away, therefore I only joined the first party.

 It was a rainy day.

So, I bought lunch on my way to the office at B1 floor. There was full menu, and I chose sweet and hot chicken. After that I went to pick up mails, but they were not ready. When I went up, two colleagues were waiting for a key. So, I went to pick up the key.  When I went back there were two more colleagues waiting.

There were many things to do but I did not overwork. I left the office around 18:45. I missed a train but came home around 21:00.

I saw a movie on TV.

To my glad my 220th eBook became No. 1 in the USA.

2026.9.28

It was a rainy day.

When it is rainy, I buy boxed lunch on my way to the office in the B1 floor at a Mediterranean restaurant.  Today I bought Chicken Tomato.

There was a meeting in the afternoon.

I overworked till 7PM and came home around 9PM which is rather earlier than usual.

To my glad in the morning my 220th eBook was No. 1 and 219th eBook was No. 2 in Japan.

It was a rainy day.

I stayed at home all day long.

From 11 AM I had a zoom meeting with whom I have not seen for a long time. 

I have made the 221st e-book.  This is the last work of the trilogy of my trip to Chibaraki from August 31 to September 2.

There was a bilingual fortune sharing tea party. There were 6 members for two sessions tonight.

It was a rainy day.

I stayed at home all day long.

There were two zoom sessions today.

I booked a tour to Izumo okamiyashiro in November, and a guest house one day before.  I have been wondering where to go this year before and after the tour. I feel like to visiting Yamaguchi too.

I watched a movie on TV.

To my glad my 219th ebook has been No. 1 in the USA and Japan.

It was cloudy and fine but started raining at night.

During lunch time I watched the last episode of NHK's morning drama for 15 minutes and went to the Hibiya Park for 30 minutes. There were roses. I found trees from each prefecture.

There were lots of emails communication and a video meeting. I overworked till 9:15PM or so and came home around 11:15PM.

I saw the beautiful moon which is called jugoya (十五夜), the fifteenth moon. I felt lucky to see it because it started raining after that.

In this month we had a lot of rain and there were many damages here and there.

I got up very early so that I took an earlier train than usual.

It is fine after a long interval.  Therefore, I decided to take a walk at Hibiya Park during lunch time. I dropped at the Imperial Hotel to ask to use the picture I took in June or so for my next eBook.

To my glad my 219th eBook has been No. 1 in Japan.

After 5 days off there were many things to do at office and I overworked till 20:30 and came home around 22:30.

From today a new staff joined.

2026.9.23

It was a national holiday called Shubun no hi (秋分の日), Autumn Equinox Day.

It is a day that daytime and nighttime are equal. From today nighttime becomes longer.

It was another rainy day.

I stayed at home all day long and made 220th e-book about Mifune Matsuri, Sacred Boat Ritual I visited on September 1 and 2 this month.

I also enjoyed making dessert.

Today is a national holiday called nation's holiday. They say it's been 11 years since we had 5 days holiday at Silver Week last.  

It was fine after typhoon in the morning, but it became cloudy and rain.

I went to grocery shopping and fill my car up.  On my way there I saw some landslides. Therefore, the road was jammed.

I went to the station to go to the Haneda Airport. However, trains were suspended of operation.  I tried to find someone else who could go to the airport. To my lucky there was someone living in Tokyo to go to the airport to pick up the student and take him to domestic flight check in.

I started preparing 220th ebook.

I cooked for dinner and made even dessert too.

2026.9.21

It was a national holiday called "Respect-the-Aged-Day."

It was used to be no September 15 but changed to the third Monday of September.

It was a rainy day because of the typhoon No. 25. It rained so much.

I stayed at home all day long.

At lunch time I made some dessert by potato starch. They were easy and very tasty. I will make them someday again.

I prepared the No. 219 th ebook.
