It was fine and very hot.

I worked at home.

 

At lunch time I went to the post office and bank to transfer money to pay tax and other things.

In the evening I went to the coffee shop to meet somebody. I left home soon after work without checking the message which said the change of meeting time, and I had to wait long.

To my sad the shop will stop serving desert set from July 3.

It was fine.

I heard by the news that in some places it rained heavily with thunders and in other places it even hailed.

Japan is a small country, but it is not, isn't it?

At night I chose the kimono to wear on Saturday.

It is the summer formal kimono called "ro" and it has beautiful flower embroideries.

To wear kimono in summer is very hot but "ro" looks cool because it is transparent.

I am looking forward to the weekend.

Since I knew the result of applied tour to Ishigaki island was not chosen I decided to take my summer vacation at the late weekend of September. I will go to Kinkazan to attend an annual festival. This is the second time for me to go there. I feel like visiting the Northern area too.

It was cloudy and rainy but became fine.

There was no dessert for lunch but a colleague gave me a souvenir sweets from her trip to Kinugawa.

Present campaign of the 84th present started and it became No.1 in Japan.

I cooked dinner and enjoyed various vegetables, pork ginger and Apple tea jelly.

At night I tried to book the free tickets to Hong Kong but there is something wrong and I could not access the site.

It was fine.

My 84th ebook became No.1 in Japan.

So I decided to do free promotion from tomorrow.

I watched "Disney on Ice" on TV and felt like seeing the live.

It seems there are free return flight tickets campaigns. It would be nice if I could visit there again.

I cooked Apple tea jelly instead of Earl Grey tea, and am looking forward tasting it tomorrow.

It was cloudy in the morning, and became fine in the afternoon. 

I published the 84th ebook today.

In the afternoon I headed for Enoshima and visited Ryukoji temple and Enoshima jinja shrine. 

At 17:30 I got together with a friend and enjoyed "Enoshima Island Spa." We saw the beautiful sunset from the outdoor pool and enjoyed hot spring.

After saying good bye, I headed for Kamakura. Unfortunately I could not enter the precinct of the Tsurugaoka hachimangu shrine.

I came home around 22:30 listening to the Zoom meeting.

It was a nice day.

2023.6.24

It was fine. 

I got up early to get the first train, arrived at Shinjuku before 7AM, and attended one day bus tour to visit three shrines in Gunma.

The first place was Myogi jinja. I needed to climb 165 steps. It was a beautiful shrine like Nikko Toshogu. I liked the sounds of wind bells and water of the river.

The second place was Haruna jinja. Main building was under construction. I liked the waterfalls.

The third place was Akagi jinja. The bridge was under construction. Lake view was nice.

All three were nice.

I ate soba noodle set with vegetable tempura for lunch using special travel support coupon.

We came back to Shinjuku around 18:40.

After that I watched a Japanese movie released yesterday by stock holder's invitation ticket.

I came home midnight.

It was a nice day.

2023.6.23

It was cloudy and rather cool.

My colleague and I usually have lunch at Cafeteria. There are three choices of main dishes every day. We serve side dishes, pickles, rice, miso soup, salad by ourselves. There are desserts sometimes but not every day and we do not know when. It costs yen 600 for faculty and staff, and yen 500 for students.

Lunch time is from 12 to 1 PM.

First half we eat at the cafeteria, and the second half we move to the lounge to watch NHK's morning TV drama's rebroadcasting from 12:45 for 15 minutes. 

But today there was a memorial service in Okinawa, and it was broadcast by 12:49.

So we missed four minutes.

After coming home I watched the drama again by NHK Plus.

On my way home I filled up my car. This time it ran about 545 km, and it was about 36 l and cost about yen 6000.

2023.6.22

It was cloudy and rainy.

I cooked many things tonight. All were good.   

They say it's been 10 years since Mt. Fuji became UNESCO's World Heritage Site.

There will be EXPO 2025 in Osaka.  It seems there are difficulties about construction. Expensive materials, too short time.

The entrance fee seems more expensive than before.

I hope to do something for EXPO, so as my Spanish friend, but I do not know what we can do yet.

It was fine.

Today is geshi (夏至), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24 solar tems. Last one was boshu (芒種) on June 6, and the next one is shosho (小暑) on July 7.

Geshi is summer solstice, when the daytime is the longest in the year.

I worked at home. During lunch time I visited the nearby shrine, the City branch office, and the post office.

To my glad my 83rd book became No.1 in the USA and Japan.

2023.6.20

It was cloudy and fine.

Tomorrow is summer solstice.  Last year I started a new charm. It is to wrap and hang　hydrangea. 

To prepare I cut hydrangea this mormning, and wrote my name and birthdate on the paper. 

If you do this, they say you would not short money.

They say there are other dates good for this charm such as 6th, 16th and 26th.

It was fine.

There was a cake shop I wanted to know the location. At lunch time I asked my colleagues, and they  knew the place. I have been near there but I have not noticed. 

After work I went near there, but the shop only opens from 11 AM to 5 PM and today is the close day. 

I will wait for the special occasion.

Present campaign of the 83rd book started.I hope many people enjoy the beautiful scenary of Okinawa.

It was fine. I saw the sun dog in the evening.

I stayed at home all day long.

I happened to find plums in the garden and decided to make dessert.

In the afternoon I watched BS Attack 25 by Smartphone application because my ex-colleague appeared.  He became the winner but couldn't get the prize.

At night there was a zoom meeting after a long time.

It was fine.

I published the 83rd ebook today.

I went to Yokohama to see two movies. One is 'The Little Mermaid" and the other is a Japanese movie 'Kaibutsu (怪物), Monster" which got the Palme d'Or at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.

After that I had supper and went to Sugita and did some shopping.

At night there was a zoom event by online friends with whom I study about entrepreneurship two years ago

It was fine in the morning, but became rain in the afternoon and fine again in the evening.

I went to the fire station to attend the lifesaving seminar before going to office for an hour.

There were eight participants but I was the only one that have called 119 for both fire and lifesaving.

I took the basic life-saving certificate course for an hour. But there was the advanced life−saving certificate course for six hours.

If possible, I want to take that too someday.

My 82nd book is now No.2 in Spain.

On my way home I went grocery shopping.

At night I watched a movie "CODA" on TV.

It was a rainy day.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work, which is a ritual of the 15th day of the month.

To my glad my 82nd ebook has become No.1 in the USA.

At night I attended the webinar which my companion friend was one of the speakers.

It was slightly raining in the morning.

In the evening I saw beautiful Angel's ladder.

My 82nd ebook has been No.1 in Japan. 

I sent the information to many friends. Some replied with good impressions, others replied with stamps or simple messages. There are some that are no reactions. 

I send some in spite of getting no replies, but in other cases I stop sending information.

It was fine.

The sun set sky was so beautiful.

I sent the information to some friends in the USA, Spain, Australia, Argentina, and Japan. Some of them reacted by message or stamp soon.

I got an invitation to the 109 Cinemas  Premium Shinjuku where opened in April. I am very glad because the seat is very expensive more than double of the regular price. I am looking forward to seeing a very wonderful movie someday.

I received two mail order goods. One is a glass cover of the smartphone. This was the third time for me to buy the product.

At night I attended a zoom seminar.

It was a rainy day.

I worked at home today.

I learned about First Aid by e·learning as a prerequired course for this Friday Course at the Fire Station.

To my glad my 82nd ebook became No.1 in Japan.

It was a rainy day and I stayed at home all day long.

I was woken by door bells of a neighbor who came to pick up the circulation board. She gave me potatoes.

I prepared the 82nd ebook and published.It is a photobook of sunlight pictures I took in Kanagawa, Tokyo, and Okinawa last month.

I had two zoom sessions. Both were goods.

The first one was supposed to have an hour but finished earlier which was good.

I watched some TV programs and listened to some recorded programs.

It was cloudy.

June 10 is known as toki no kinenbi （時の記念日）,  the Anniversary of Time.

I stayed at home all day long to do housework such as cleaning, washing, cooking, ironing, sewing, clearing kimono and shoes, and so on.

I watched the recorded movie "Amazing Spiderman 2" which was intererting.

My friend and I made a plan of summer trip.

It was a rainy day, but became fine in the evening.

I watched " The Beauty and the Beast" on TV. It's been a long time since I saw it last.

I got an email from a friend in Hokkaido whom I wrote last September before going to Hokkaido. She said she happened to find my emails.

I booked a bus tour which I wanted to go for a long time.

I bought the smartphone cover by mail order. This was the third time to buy. It was cheaper than before.

It was fine in the morning, but became rain in the evening.

They say the rainy season has set in in the  Kanto area.

On my way back I went grocery shopping.

At the evening news I knew a Japanese tennis player Miyu Kato became a champion at the mix doubles of the French open tennis. She was disqualified by a dangerous behavior at the Women's doubles game a few days ago. I did not watch the game, so I do not know how it happened.

This is the third time for Japanese to be No.1.

It was rainy in the morning but became fine soon. 

It seemed to be over 30 degrees centigrade outside.

The  clouds at sunset were very beautiful.

Lunch was volumy. There were choices of dessert. I chose a piece of cheese cake.

Present campaign of the 81st book was over. It became No.1 in Spain and Japan, No.2 in the USA, and ranked in the Netherlands.

It was cloudy in the daytime, but became rain in the evening.

I worked at home, and took two hours off.

I went to Kanda to attend a monthly meeting from 6 to 8 pm.

I met some friends there and one of them gave me a piece of cake which she baked by the advice of my other friend whom I introduced at my monthly online event.

After the meeting my friend and I went to have dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant where we went to last month. All were delicious.

I came home around midnight.

2023.6.5

It was fine.

I wore kimono, checked out, and walked to　the Nishinomiya jinja shrine.

Before starting the seminar, I visited the shrines. 

The opening time was 10:30, but there were already some people and I sat on the third row.

There were seminar, dinner, formal visit, guided tour, and follow up.

Everything was nice.

On my way back I bought Kaki no ha zushi at Shin Osaka and ate on the train. 

I took Shinkansen at 19:00 and came home around 23:00.

It was a nice trip.

2023.6.4

It was fine.

I walked to the station and went to Kimono style Miya to have my hairset, make up, and dressed up. Three of us got on the limousine and have our pictures and videos taken.

After that I went to Kamakura and visited the Tsurugaoka hachimangu shrine and attended a luncheon.

After that I headed for Shinagawa to take a Shinkansen. Though I could not sit at the window side, I could see Mt. Fuji.

After arriving at Shin Osaka, I changed the train and came to Nishinoniya. I thought my hotel is 7 minutes walk from the station, but it was not from JR station, but from Hanshin Line, and I had to walk a lot.

After checking in, I went out for dinner.

It was another eventful day.

It was heavily raining in the morning, but became fine in the afternoon.

I went to Kimono style Miya to have my hair set, make up, and dressed. I was supposed to get on the Limousine, but changed the schedule, and visited Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan Yokohama branch with my friend.

After that we headed for Harajuku and got together with three friends, and visited the Meiji jingu shrine.

Since today is one of the best days in June, I saw some wedding couples.

We went to a nice French restaurant for afternoon tea where I have wanted to go since April.

It was a nice place.

Three of us went to see the Dragon Art exhibition which was also nice.

It was a fruitful day.

2023.6.2

It was a rainy day.

I decided to work at home, and it turned out to be a good decision.

In the evening it rained too heavily to drive.

I prepared the kimonos I am going to wear next three days.

At night there were two zoom  sessions.

2023.6.1

A new month has started. June is rokugatsu（６月 or 六月）in Japanese.

It is the time for changing clothings which is called koromogae（衣替え）.

 I changed the plant, salt, and rice of the inhouse shrine, and visited the nearby shrine as rituals of the first day of the month.

There was a new staff from today.

After work I went to the nearest post office which is open until 7 PM.
