It was fine.

I teleworked today.

There was an announcement that our school earned AACSB international accreditation. It is the 6th school in Japan and the first national university in Japan. I am proud of being a part of it.

This afternoon there was a zoom workshop about experiments. I heard of an example of cultural defferent points of view. It was very intersting and I remembered what I have been interested in. 

When I was a university student, I was interested in cultural differences, why people see and do differently. Is it because of education?

I feel like studying again.

It was fine.

This week there were many online events at night.

Tonight I attended the meeting to enhance the ability of the sixth sense.

We put a strand of hair into a thick book and close it, and tried to find it just from our feeling of fingers or hands. I tried but it took several times until I got it. To my surprise I opened the same page for several times. Maybe it had any meaning.

We had a good time.

It was fine.

Listening to the meditation program, I missed the station and could not buy lunch on my way to the office.

So at lunch time I went out. Once in a month there is a market of Iwate products at the Takebashi station building. About three or four months ago I bought reimen (冷麺), cold noodle there and it was very delicious. Last month they did not have them, and I bought two kinds of seafood instant soup.  Today they had reimen for half price. I felt lucky.

Today is the day of the ox during doyo (土用の丑の日: doyo no ushi no hi), which is about 18 days before the first day of fall. On this day we eat grilled eel as a lucky food.

The typhoon was supposed to come but it seemed to have changed the route. So I did not have to use an umbrella.

It was fine.

This morning I published the 24th ebook. It is the 11th e-photobook of My Favorite Places series. Its title is "My Favorite Places in Spain 1:  Canary Islands. It is a collection of the pictures of my trip to Canary Islands in August 2008.  There are 7 main islands there but I could only visit two of them.

Therefore I hope to visit all of them someday.

This time I wrote it by three lanuguages: English, Spanish, Japanese.

To write a book in three languages has been one of my dreams. Since this is a photobook, it is a bit different from my intention. But someday I hope to write a decent book to introduce Japan and Japanese culture.

It was fine and very hot.

I stayed at home all day long, watching some Olympic games on TV, washing, and writing the 24th ebook which is the first trilingual book.

I am glad to see some Japanese got the gold medals.

It was fine and hot.

I started the day with laughter yoga.

I changed to kimono and went to Sugita first, and had French lunch at Sakuragicho.

I visited Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan temple as usual.

I went to Kimono-style Miya to ask for laundry.

I went to Yokohama to check the lottery I bought near Hoto jinja in Saga. I bought 13 lotteries for yen 1,600.-. There was only one lottery which happened to get two prizes, and I got  yen1,000.-.

At night I had two zoom sessions.

It was fine.

The second day of the four-day weekend.

It is fumi no hi (ふみの日), Day of Letter.

The opening ceremony of The 32nd Tokyo Olympic 2020 has finally begun.

At the very moment I was at the Tokyo station and watched the count down.

This morning I prepared lunch and headed for the Tokyo station to attend a shrine visiting tour to Arayayama jinja where I have wanted to visit for a long time.

To my lucky I was allocated in the car No.1 which is a very fortunate one.

It was a nice day.

It was fine.

First day of four days weekend.

I slept long, and stayed at home all day long.

I had chances to talk with many people by some followup zoom sesson and other things.

It was fine and hot.

Some Olympic games have begun. I wonder why. The opening ceremony will be on Friday.

Wonen's softbsll team won.

Women's football team was draw.

I am glad that from tomorrow we have four days off weekend.

It was fine.

There are only three days left before the Tokyo Olympic 2020. However there are some resignations of the roles, players of positive of COVID-19, and problems. I don' t feel it will open soon.

I hope it will be OK.

It was fine.

Today was supposed to be a national holiday called umi no hi (海の日), Marine Day. But this year it was moved to July 22 because of the Olympics. July 24 is another transferred national holiday because of the Olympics. So we only work three days this week.

I had a meeting this afternoon. It was a nice opportunity to know other colleague's job.

It was fine.

I stayed at home all day long and attended 6 booths of Love and Money Olympic. It was fun to know new people and new methods.

After all I attended 12 sessions in total for two days.  I have known about half of them in real but have never taken their sessions before. So it was a nice opportunity to know each other.

It was fine and very hot.

I went to Hinodecho have my body massaged which is my once a month health treatment.

Before going there I visited Iseyama kotai jingu and Naritasan as usual. I was surprised to see the memorial board to take pictures which said "Congratulations on Shichigosan" for November 15.

After coming home, I attended 6 booths of Love and Money Olympic. It was fun.

It was fine.

Today I worked at home.  There was a zoom meeting with all the staff.

After work there were two zoom sessions at nigjt which were very interesting.

The sunset was so beautiful today.

It was fine and very hot.

I went to the nearby shrine before taking the train as a ritual of the 15th of the day.

Last week I traveled to Kyushu. Yesterday and today I posted about the meals I ate in Kyushu.

Raw squid in Yobuko was transparent and delicious which drew attention most.

It was fine.

We happened to have a team meeting and I gave them sweets from Kyushu trip.

One is a very famous one, but I have not eaten for a long time.  The other was a chocolate of Tsukushi mochi taste, which was very unique texture. Another was a salty candy, but was not so salty.

I like to try new sweets.

At night I tried gumi of yatsuhashi taste which I bought in Kyushu. Yatsuhashi is a famous sweet in Kyoto. Strange, isn't it?

It was cloudy.

They say the rainy season of Kyushu area has finished.

Today was the last day of my 23rd ebook free promotion. In Japan it was ranked as No.1 in 6 sections or so.

Last night I watched the men's final game of the Wimbledon, and took a bath later.

When I got up, it was nearly 7 am, and I got on the later train than usual, but I was in time.

It was cloudy but very hot.

After the vacation, there were lots of things to do at office. 

It is ichiryumanbaibi (一粒万倍日), when one grain becomes 10000 times. I shared the fundraising post my friend from Expo'92 organized for her daughter and her dog. I hope it will reach to make her goal realized.

I challenge to post for 21 days.

I started using Spanish to communicate with one of the colleagues.

It was fine and hot. In the evening it rained,

I stayed at.home and attended a seminer all day long. It was fun.

At night I attended another.

It was fine.

I attended the laughter yoga, and did homework for tomorrow by sending friends two questions.

I checked out the hotel before 11 am and visited Kushida jinja shrine where I visited before at the Yamagasa festival.

Next I visited the Kimono shop to say hello.

I went to Sumiyoshi jinja shrine.  There was a Japanese style garden nearby and I enjoyed the tea set.

I had lunch at a restaurat where was recommended me by a friend living in Fukuoka the othet day.

Then I went to Hakosakigu shrine.

I went to the hotel to pick up the luggage and headed for the airport.

Flight was smooth.

I attended the zoom lesson on my way home.

I came home safe and sound.

It was a nice trip.

It was rainy in the morning, but became fine in the afternoon.

I went to see my friend and we visited many historical places where most tourists would not know.

I could meet new people through her connection.

Finally we visit her salon.

I had a good day.

It was rainy in the morning, but became fine in the late afternoon.

We went to Iwaya shrine first, where I did not know anything about it.

We had shrimp lunch.

Then we headed for Dazaifu tenmangu shrine where I have been for several times before.

And we headed for Munakata taisha shrine which is composed of three shrines.

One of them is located in Okinoshima island where is only allowed to go by priests.

The other is located in Oshima island. 

I wanted to visit there by all means and I left the group at the Hetsunomiya shrine and took a taxi to the pier and got on 15:30 ferry to go to Oshima.

I was only going to visit two places, Nakatsunomiya shrine and Okitsunomiya shrine pray place because I did not have any means to go other places besides on foot.

To my fortunate when I went to Nakatsunomiya, someone offered me to take to the places by car and showed me around the other sightseeing places too.

Weather became fine and I really had a good time there.

I came back to main island by 18:00 ferry.

Since it is one of the UNESCO's World Heritage places and there are many things to see, someday I hope to come back there again.

From today the free promotion of my 23rd ebook has begun. I hope it will be downloaded by many people around the world.

It was fine and rainy.

We went to Karstsu castle first, Hoto shrine next, Futamigaura third, and came to Nakasu.

We ate Yobuko squid for lunchi, mizutaki for dinner.

July 7 is known as tanabata, star festival.

I got up early to get on the 6:05 shuttle bus After  checked in I went to the credit card lounge. The flight was on schedule. Though I got a window side seat, I could not see the Mt. Fuji.

After getting at Nagasaki Airport, we headed for Andersen where is the main destination of today. We enjoyed the magic and illusion inclucing lunch for 7 hours or so.

After that we headed for Karstsu to stay. We enjoyed dinner.

It was slightly rainy in the morning, and became fine. I hope it will be fine from tomorrow.

After work I came to Otorii to stay at the nearest hotel from the airport for tomorrow morning. It's been a while since I stayed at this group hotel. It seems they changed the membership card system, and I made the new one.

I am glad to hear there is a shuttle bus between the hotel and the airport.

It was a rainy day.

I left home earlier but trains delayed again and I arrived at the beauty salon later than the appointed time.

I had my hair cut and permed.

I was afraid of the train delay on Tuesday and decided to stay at the hotel near the airport tomorrow night.

I wanted to see a movie, but worried about the return train, and the time of re-delivery. came hone directky.

I felt reliefed to receive three re-delivery goods.

It rained heavily and trains stopped for a long time.

I had to wait for the trains restarted for four hours or so.

I had to change my schedule a lot, but did almost every thinng I planned such as making hair decoration, have my hair set, makeup, got dressed, and pictures taken.

I got exhausted

It was a rainy day.

When I got up, it was almost the time I usually leave home. To my lucky, I was in time.

After work on my way home it seemed the train delayed. Usually I can sit on the train, but tonight not only I had to stand but also it took nearly one hour more than usual.

I attended a zoom seminar ftom the train, it lasted for more than three hours and I could not attend another gathering.

I hope it will be fine tomorrow.

2021.7.1

A new month has started.

July is shichigatsu(７月、七月), or fumiduki (文月), letter month in Japanese.

It was a rainy day all day long.

As a first day ritual, I went to the nearby shrine before going to the office.

I had two meetings today.

After coming home, I took a quick supper to attend a zoom gathering of reading the month rhythm.

They say it should be a month to excite.  

I am looking forward to experiencing many things this month.

2021.6.30

The last day of June.

Today I published the 23rd ebook. Its title is "My Favorite Places in French Riviera: Monaco" which is the 10th e-photobook of this series.

There is a seasonable event called Nagoshi no ooharae (夏越しの大祓) at shrines in Japan. There is a big circle made of thatch standing in front of the main building of the shrine and we pass it like a sign of infinity (∞) to drive away the things attached we do not need.

After work I went to Tokyo daijingu shrine to do that.
