It was fine.

I got up early to go to Yamato Yagi to attend the four shrines visiting tour at 8:45.

There were 6 participants. There was one more shrine I wanted to go and I asked the organizer to coordinate.To my lucky everyone agreed if there is no additional cost.

We visited Niukawa kami jinja nakasha first. We were invited to the inside of the worship hall. And we were given a charm.

We walked to the waterfalls and threw the dragon ball there.

I was very moved.

Next we visited the Niukawa kami jinja kami sha.

We had lunch and visited the roadside station.

We visited the Yoshino jingu where was not included originally.

We visited the Niukawa kami jinja shimosha next where we were lucky to listen to the talk of the chief priest.

Finally we went to Tenkawa dai benzaitensha shrine. It's been about 9 month since I visited there last.

It was a really nice tour.

After coming back to Nara my fiend and I had dinner with my another friend.

We enjoyed eating and talking.

It was a very nice day.

It was cloudy and fhne.

I arrived at Kyoto around 6AM after stopping at three service areas.

After leaving the carry case I headed for Nagahama to take the Biwako cruise.

I was lucky to go to Chikubujima but had to change the route to come back.

It's been 1 year and 4 months since I went there last.

After that I went to Kameoka to visit Omoto Gallery to see Yowan Cups made by Deguchi Onisaburo.

On my way to come back I took a trolley trail from Kameoka to Kyoto.

After having dinner I came to Nara to stay.

It was a nice day.

It was cool in the morning. 

I was rather busy at this time of the year and I overworked for two hours.

At lunch time five of us went out to have a small farewell luncheon at a Dog run restaurant. This was the first time for most of us to go there.

After coming home I had a quick supper and walked to the station and headed for Yokohama.

I am taking a night bus bound for Kansai.

It was cloudy and fine.

I stayed and worked at home. 

There were many things to do .

I made a seservation of the ferry for the next month.

  

I also called the newspaper delivery company to keep during my trip and delivery them when I came back.

I packed for the trip from tomorrow.

It was fine.

I was very busy at work and overworked for three hours. I was the last person to leave the office for the first time tonight.

I was very surprised to hear that one of the colleagues will leave the office at  the end of this month and September 22 will be the last day. We will have a faretwell luncheon on Friday with a few members.

It was cloudy and slightly rainy.

My job is in one of the busiest seasons and I overworked a little bit.

At night I watched a program on TV which dealt with the aged people. They say there are five persons who are living through 5 Japanese era (Meiji,Taisho,Showa,Heisei, and Reiwa). One of them is the oldest woman in Japan who was a doctor. She is 114 years old. Her next goal is to be the oldest in the world.

At night I had once a month zoom gathering.

Saddest news of today was Robert Redford's passing at the age of 89.

Today is a national holiday called Keiro no hi, Respect for the Aged Day.

According to the recent newspaper, there are 99,763 people who are over 100 years old in Japan which is the most in history for consective 55 years. About 88% of them are women. The oldest person is 114 years old woman living in Nara.

I wore kimono and visited the nearby shrine as a ritual of the 15th of the day.

To my glad my 178th ebook has been No.1 in Japan.

I went to Otsuka to see the Japanese Dance event from 13:00 to 16:45.

 

After that 7 of us went to have dinner and 4 of us had tea.

I came home around 10:40PM.

It seems to have rained here.

It was cloudy and fine.

I got up early to get on the 5:46 train to go to Shinjuku to attend a bus tour at 7:45.

Destination was Yamanashi to eat Shine Muscat as much as we want and pack Shingenmochi as many as possible.

Since it is the middle of three day weekend the traffic jam were heavy for both to go and come back.

There were three places to visit besides lunch.

After coming back to Shinjuku, I ate supper and headed for Shinagawa.There was an accident and I had to use JR trains.

I could come home before midnight.

It was cloudy in the morning but became rain in the afternoon.

I published the 178th e−book today. It is about my trip to Oshima by mystery ticket.

In the morning I prepared for Kimono. 

In the afternoon I went to see my friend after a long time. I was surprised to see the cost of the parking lot which was not introduced until last year or so.

After that I went grocery shopping.

I sent some messages to my some groups.

There were many things to do, and I had to overwork for a while.

There was a kick−off meeting about the business trip abroad in the morning and many things were fixed.

At night I had a zoom meeting with someone whom I know for a long time but didn't have time to talk. She's been interested in my ebooks. So it was fun to talk many things.

It was fine and hot.

I walked to the station and took trains to Meguro. The main reason was to see the 2025 Luna Flora Exhibitions with friends.

Before going there I visited the Meguro Fudoson where is very big.

After that we visited the Otori jinja shrine which had an annual festival.

Two of us went to Ginza to see another art exhibition.

After saying good bye to her I headed for Yokohama to attend a seminar.

After that I visited Iseyama kotai jingu and Naritasan Yokohama Branch.

After coming home and having dinner I went to see the festival of the nearby shrine.

There was a webinar at night.

It was fine and hot,

It is the time of the annual festival of the nearby shrine.

I went there for the preparation at 8 AM. It took longer than last year.

After the ceremony I followed the portable shrine.

Someone got sick and we called an  ambulance.

I was going to see a friend, but it was canceled by the unexpected reason.

It was rainy.

The typhoon No.15 hit Japan. It rained heavily with thunders.

After it passed it became fine.

Bus stopped the service in the afternoon. Therefore some colleagues had to call a taxi.

I published the 177th ebook about sunlight pictures taken in August.

I came home earlier because of the txphoon.

On my way home I went to grocery shopping.

I stayed and worked at home all day long. 

After dinner I tried to make the new dessert.

There was an online event tonight.There were four sessions. It was fun to know new people.

It was another busy day and I overworked a little bht.

From tonight I started eating the new brand rice. Since last year around this time we could not buy rice for a long time. Price of rice became about double.It is still expensive. New season of new rice will start soon.

I hope we can eat rice always at the reasonable price.

After one day off there were many paper works to do at office than usual.

A new month has started.

September is kugatsu  (9月 or 九月) or nagatsuki (長月) in Japanese. 

Two thirds of 2025 has passed. 

How fast it is!

I took a day off and have started my trip since last night. It was an overnight trip by boat. We left Takeshiba at 11 PM and arrived at Oshima at 6 AM.

There was a bus at the terminal, my friend I took a bus to the Oshima Kanko Hotel. We left the luggage at the hotel and climbed up the Mt. Mihara. We visited the shrine and walked around the top of the mountain and came back to the hotel.It was three hours hiking. 

When we came back, the time of public hot spring was over. So we called the taxi and went to the terminal and ate lunch and took a bath.

We left Oshima at 14:30 and came back to Takeshiba at 19:00.

It was a nice trip.

I got up early and walked to the station to get on the 7:03 train and went to Hacchobori.

There was one day seminar from 9AM to 6PM. It was the fourth time to attend this series. It was very interesting.

After that 10 people went to have dinner.

After that I went to Takeshiba to attend a mystery ticket tour which until I buy the ticket I do not know the destination. My destination became Oshima, Big Island.

It's been a long time since I went there last time.

After brunch I walked to the station and headed for Shin Matsuda to attend a movie "In Between" watching event followed by the director's talk. I attended a workshop of Easy Japanese too.I am glad to see my ex−colleague.

After that I went to Kitasenju to see the 33rd World Peace Art Exhibition 2025.

I went to Asakusa to see the Samba Carnival but it was already over. So I ate dinner and came home.

On my way home I attended two zoom event.

After coming home I held the 48th bilingal tea party.

There were lots of things to do at work after remote work and I overworked a little bit.

On my way home I went to the shop I bought the electric fan the other day to bring the broken one. 

And I went to grocery shopping to buy some bottled water with peach and grape flaver to make peach jelly.

Present campaign of the 176th ebook was over. To my glad it became No.1 in Germany and Japan. I wonder why there were no reviews appeared though my friend said she wrote.

After that I went to Ebisu to have a luncheon. There were 7 participants, and four of them left earlier to prepare for the event. Three of us enjoyed chatting and stayed longer.

After saying good by to them I headed for Ueno to see the special exhibition "Ooku." Since it is Saturday it opens until 20:00. I enjoyed other exhibition too.

I came home around 22:30.

I walked 19,137 steps.

At night I had a zoom session.To my lucky she combined tonight and tomorrow night's session.It was very interesting.I thought it was free, but it was not in a sense. But I enjoyed the session it was OK.

There was an opportunity to learn about vegetarian. 

From the working experience of international programs I knew somehow about the food restriction because of religous reasons. 

There are 9 levels of vegetarian. 

They are Vegan, Lacto-Vegetarian, Ovo-Vegetarian, Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Flexitarian, Oriental Vegetarian, Raw Foodist, and Fruitarian.

Fruitarian is the most strict one that only eat fruits and nuts.

I did not know they do not eat honey.

I am glad that I can eat anything without restrictions

On my way home I went to fill up my car.　Gasoline price seemed to have dropped since last time.

Every Tuesday if you fill more than 15L you get a small present.

I chose a pet bottle of straight tea. Since I happened to see the video of how to make tea jelly by tea of pet bottle, I tried to make it. But the jelly didn't set. Too early or too little gelatin?

I watched the last episode of the drama. It was rather good. I have seen the movie or drama of the same title before, but I didn't remember the contents. I only remember of the main character.

Today is the first day of working.There were many souvenirs. I distributed some souvenirs too.

Cafeteria will be closed until Wednesday. So I brought lunch after cooking the brown rice.

After work I went to grocery shopping. The discount coupon has been changed. So I asked. They introduced me the new application. To my surprise I got about 10% off.

Today is my father's10th death anniversary.

I got up early, wore Kimono, and headed for Kanda myojin shrine to attend the seminar of the history of shrines

. I went there via Nihonbashi and Suehirocho because it seemed the walking distance was the shortest.

To my surprise it was the back lane of the Shrine.

Opening time was 10:30 and I arrived there around 10:30  and I arrived around that time. There werd 88 participants and about half of them were already there.

There were lectures, dinner, special visit. and lectures between 10:30 and18:00.

I came back home around 20:40.

I had a zoom session from 9AM to 10AM.

I walked to the station and headed for Nakameguro to attend a Publication  Memorial Lecture of my teacher of the Ability Garden Era.It was fun.

After that I headed for KAAT, Kanagawa Art Theater to see the Opera. There were two parts. The first part was live performance, and the second part was a movie. It was a 

unique experience.

After that my friend and I had dinner.

I stayed at home all day long.

Since I felt pains here and there I decided to stay home.

Today is the anniversary of the end of World War II. It's been 80 years.

At night I watched an old Italian movie.

I checked out the hotel before 9AM and headed for Owari ichinomiya to visit the Masumida jinja shrine where I have wanted to visit for a long time.

After that I went to Bentenjima of Lake Hamana where also I have wanted to visit for a long time.

After one hour walk I took trains back home via Hamamatsu, Atami, Yokosuka, Zushi, Kurihama and changed a train there.

I came back home by taxi before 22:30.

It was a nic summer vacation trip.

It was fine and hot. 

After having breakfast I listened to the archive lecture of Day 4 which I missed the other day.

I left the hotel around 11:30 and headed for EXPO. I could not make any reservation again.But I enjoyed some exhibitions and shows.

However, on my way back to the hotel, trains stopped and we had to wait for more than two hours at the exit.

I managed to come back hotel around 1:30AM.

It was fine but rained heavily for a while.

I checked out the hotel and left the baggage there and headed for the Nara National Museum to see the special exhibition of Voyage around the World: Heritage of Beauty and Wonder and Special Display The Guardians of the Kinpusenji Temple Gate Kinpusenji Temple, Nara.

After that I visited the Kasugataisha shrine.

After having tea I went back to the hotel to pick up the baggage and headed for Osaka. First I checked in the hotel and headed for the EXPO site. I entered at 18:30 and visited some pavilions. I was going to see the fireworks but it started while I was waiting for the pavilion and could not.I left the site around 21:30 but it took about one hour to get on the train.

While I was waiting I attended a zoom gathering.

It was a long day.

It is a national holiday called Day of Mountain.

I visited the 48 waterfalls in Nara by using a special discount ticket issued by Kintetsu Railway.

I was very fortunate because weather was fine and it started raining when I came back to the shop at the entrance.

After coming back to the hotel I went out for dinner with a Facebook friend and her friend.

It was another good day.

I got up early and made two rice balls and walked to the station.

It was cloudy when I was at home but started raining when I headed for the station.

I went to the JR Kurihama station and bought Seishun 18 tickets for 5 days for yen12050.

I took trains from Kurihama to Okazaki via Ofuna, Atami, Hamamatsu, and Toyohashi. I got together with cousins and relative and visited a shrine and a temple. I could see a waterfalls too.

We had dinner and visited the relatives' house, and I met another relative.

After that my cousin took me to Okazaki and I headed for Nara via Ogaki, Maibara, and Kyoto. 

I checked in the hotel at midnight.

I was glad to have a reunion.

Today is the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Memorial Day.

There was a ceremony in the morning. 

I attended a webinar, had lunch, and  went to the Soleil park in Yokosuka to see sunflowers.

August 8 is the day Lion's gate opens widest.

At night I attended a zoom session about the Moon reading.

I watched a Japanese movie of time slipper to the time of Japanese Special Attack Unit on TV which I saw at the theater two years ago.

残暑お見舞申し上げます

Today is risshu (立秋), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), 24 solar terms. Last one was taisho (大暑) on July 22 and the next one is shosho (処暑) on August 23.

Risshu literally means stand fall, it is the first day of fall. However it's been very hot these days.

From today greeting became "Zanrsho omimai moshiagemasu(残暑お見舞い申し上げます).''

Today I stayed and worked at home.  

After supper I walked to the Miura kaigan beach to see the fireworks festival tonight. It lasted for 30 minutes. The final 5 minutes were so nice.

It's been 80 years since the Atomic Bomb was dropped in Hiroshima.

They say there are representatives from 120 countries and regions which is the most in history attending the ceremony this year.

The name list of 349246 people who died from the Atomic Bomb, which was added 4940 people since last year, was dedicated.

The survivors of average age is getting older and older. And it is getting harder and harder to hear their true voice.

It was fine and hot.

It's been very hot these days, and every day it is making a record of more than 40 degrees centigrade.Unbelievable isn't it?

I have been arranging the trip to Kansai, and booked the hotels. Since some schedules changed I canceled a hotel and booked another hotel.

I am also arranging a luncheon too.

At night I attended a zoom seminar. It is the Day 1 of 5 days lectures.

It was fine and hot.

I had a chance to talk with a colleague who got sick recently. I felt importance of health and felt like traveling wherever I want to visit while I am fine.

I got a notification from the travel company that the tour I applied for next Sunday was canceled because the number of minimum participants was not reached. What a pity!

There was another bad news. Road to Akame shijuhachi taki waterfalls where I was going to visit is closed because of fallen trees. I hope it will be fine soon.

I may need to think of other plans.

I stayed at home all day long.

I attended three webinars, in the morning, in the afternoon, in the night.

I have been planning the trip next week. It is very difficult to coordinate a group tour.

However one thing is decided, other decisions are made accordingly.

I walked to the station and took a train to Sugita to have my hair cut and permed.

After having lunch I went to Yokosuka to shop and headed for Yokosuka Museum of Art to see two exhibitions.

Actually there were four exhibitions.

After that I walked to Kannonzaki. Unfortunately the lighthouse was already closed. But I am glad to walk around.

A new month has started.

August is hachigatsu (8月、八月) or Hazuki (葉月) in Japan.

I changed plants, rice, salt, water of the in-house shrine and 5 mounted salt and visited the nearby shrine on my way to work as a ritual of the first day of the month. 

It was cloudy and slightly rain but to my glad I saw the rainbow this morning.

I felt it auspicious of the new month.

In the evening I saw the sunset.

At night it is windy due to the typhoon.

I received a box of mail order goods I ordered recently.

I tried to find a restaurant for luncheon this month.

Since today is the day of Tiger I transferred the participant's fee for the event of this month.

I stayed and worked at home all day long.

There are something I do on the last day of the month.

One of them is to make a 20 page album by Nohana.

The other is to hold a bilingual fortune sharing tea party. It usually starts at 21:00 or 21:30. Today one of the members was very busy so that we started at 18:00.

 At 21:00 another busy person appeared and said that he had only 10 minutes.

Another person joined from 21:30.

After that another friend joined.

In total I could talk with four peple and enjoyed to wrap up July .

In the morning alarm of every staff's smartphone suddenly sounded. There was a big earthquake happened in Kamchatka Peninsula.

Tsunami alart was issued.

All  NHK TV programs were turned into news of Tsunami.

Alarm was not dissolved and we were advised to leave after 16:30

There were two zoom gatherings at night.

There are two pending things at work.

I got a message to have a reunion proposal from high school friends. Usually it has been my role and I have chosen the date and place for the past few times. I was surprised to see the choices of dates because they chose two weekdays and a weekend.

I knew one of them was not working. But the other must have been working. 

I believe another is also working. 

I do not know whey they chose the  weekday.

I have been waiting for my other friends' replies for other occasions. Depends on the number cost and reservation vary. I hope to receive the replies to fix the schedules as soon as possible.

I may come to business trip abroad in November. So I started to check the flight. There were only two direct flights in a week so l need to think of the transit route. Korea or China.

 

If we use the direct flights we can attend the full program which is coordinated everything.

So I hope to take the direct flights.

But there is a bugdet.

I received two deliveries.

I read two books of the same writer.One was I bought yesterday, the other I bought two years ago and have not read yet. It's been a while since I read paper books because I read more ebooks than paper books these days.

I attended two zoom events, one in the afternoon, the other at night.I sent invitation emails to some people about the latter one but nobody showed up.How disappointing!

I asked my brother to come home to pick up the condolence money for my uncle, and take me to the station.

I headed for Kamioooka to see a Japanese movie "National Treasure."

After that I went to a bookstore to buy my teacher"s book.

I went to Center North to have crab dinner with my friend.It was delicious.  

We attended a zoom meeting and enjoyed trying Heartgram.

I got some presents.

After work I went to a supermarket to buy the envelope for funeral offering and withdrew money.

Today is the new moon when is a good time to make 2 to 10  wishes.

I stayed and worked at home all day long.

Today is one of the luckiest days in this year, which is a combination of Ichiryumanbaibi(一粒万倍日), Taian(大安), and Tenshabi (天赦日).Ichryumambaibi is when one grain becomes 10000 times. Taian is a good day for everything. Tenshabi is the day when the heaven forgives everything and it only happens several times in a year.

How was your day?

In August we have about a week off and I feel like visiting Kansai. There are many places I want to visit and it is very difficult to go by public transportation. So I am thinking how to go and where to go.

If I go there with somebody else, I need to cordinate the schedule. 

I am planning other schedules too and waiting for some replies. I wonder if they get my message or not.

It was fine and very hot, hotter than body temperature.

We have been worried about August.

There was a meeting with an auditor. This is the first time for me to talk with him. It was fun to hear about his research.

There were some opportunities tolk with professors last week. It is very interesting to listen to there specialties from the universe to Ocean and to molecure.

What a big world  we are living in!

It was fine and hot.

Today is taisho (大暑), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気),24 solar terms.

Last one was shosho (小暑) on July 7 and the next one is risshu (立秋) on August  7.

Taisho literally means big hot.

It is the hottest season now.

It is extremely hot this summer.

At night there was an explanationery meeting about a cruise company. It seems to save  money to enjoy traveling.

I traveled around the world by tihe 44th Peace Boat Cruise from December 25, 2003 to March 31, 2004. It went westbound by south hemisphere.

Therefore I have wanted to travel around the world by a gorgeous boat through north hemisphere.

In the afternoon my brother came home after four months or so. I thought he would tell me his experience around the world by Asuka II but before that he brought a surprising news. He happened to call my uncle but knew that he passed away on June 30. RIP.

I went to vote after visiting the nearby shrine. When I went shopping after that I  happened to see him again there,

There was a zoom meeting for IWPG at 5pm and another from 8pm. There was a webinar at 9pm.

It was fine.

In the morning I received my suitcase I sent from the Haneda airport last night.

I watched a Japanese movie "A Samurai in  Time" which I recorded yesterday. It was released on August 17, 2024 and it was the 48th Japan Academy Film Prize for Picture of the Year 2025. How fast it was showing on TV!

I saw the beautiful sunset today.

The were three zoom events in the night.

It was cloudy.

I got up, took a shower, had breakfast, walked around the hotel, checked out the hotel, and met the counterparts.

We went to the train station, took KTX and subway to the Gimpo Airport.

After checking in I had lunch at Sky Hub Lounge.

I took a flight at 15:45 to Haneda. Here was meal.

To my glad I could see Mt.Fuji. We lande around 18:15.

After picking up the suitcase, I went to the delivery service to send it home.

I came home around 21:10.

Weather was not good, but I am glad to join this business trip.

It was a rainy day.

I got up, took a shower, had breakfast, and left the hotel at 8:20 and headed for the venue of the Joint seminar.

It lasted for three hours and we headed for the restaurant for lunch.

Since it was raining so heavily that we changed the schedule of afternoon.

We had tea time at the 39th floor and went shopping.

After coming back to the hotel we went out for dinner.

After coming back my friend came to the hotel and we visited the headquarter of IWPG. I was glad to see those whom I have known through zoom meeting for a year.

I got many presents today.

It was a fruitful day.

It was a rainy day.

I got up early, took a shower, had breakfast, checked out the hotel and went to the Haneda International Airport by shuttle bus at 6:30AM.

I picked up the suitcase, checked in, walked around, and took a flight at 9:00 AM to Seoul.

This is the very first trip abroad after COVID 19 pandemic.

After arriving at the Gimpo Airport, we took subway and KTX and came to Daejeon. I have wanted to come here because there was EXPO 1993. 

After the meeting and some visits we had a decent Korean Dinner.

It was fine in the morning but became rain in the afternoon.

I published the 173rd ebook today.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work as a ritual for the 15th day of the month.

Afer work I came home, ate dinner, prepared for the business trip from tomorrow, and left home around 8 PM.

I walked to the station and got on the 8:21 train to go to a hotel in Haneda.

I arrived at the hotel before 10 PM.

To my lucky I got invitation tickets for Nara　National Museum. I hope to visit there during summer vacation.

It was fine.

I prepared the suitcase for the business trip this week and asked the delivery service to pick it up to deliver to the airport.

I received the food deliveries. One is for frozen the other for refrigerated.

I thought I changed the delivery time but I did not notice there were two and the one was delivered around 4:30PM and the other was delivered around 7:30PM as the order.

I attended a zoom session at night.

It was fine, cloudy and rain.

I got up early,, made rice balls, and walked to the station to get on the 5:26 train.

Meeting time was  7:30 at Shinjuku. I attended a bus tour to Hatsushima and Izusan jinja shrine. There were 30 passengers. 

The high way was so crowded that we couldn't get on the 10:00 ferry. To our lucky we could get on the first voyage of the new ferry Kimpa Gimpa (Gold wave, Silver Wave）at 10:40.  It took 30 mimutes to the Hatsushima Island and we stayed there for three hours.

This was the second time for me to go there.

After that we visited Izusan jinja shrine.

We came back to Shinjuke at 18:30.

I went to Roppongi to have supper and came home before 22:00.

It was a nice trip.

It was cloudy and rather cooler than usual.

Today is the fullmoon, but I could not see it.

I have just watched a Japanese movie "KINGDOM" released last year on TV.

I wished to see at the theater but missed. So I am glad to see it finally.

I was shocked to find mold on the expensive chocolate souvenir which I saved though the expiration was still a long time away.

I should have eaten them earier.

These days I fell asleep while watching Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.

July 7 is known as Tanabata (七夕), Star Festival.

We decorate bamboo trees with strips of paper written our wishes.

What kind of wishes do you have?

In Japanese calendar it is written as 7.7.7 because this year is the 7th year of Reiwa.

I stayed at home all day long.

I talked with my friend over the phone in the morning about our trip to Kinkasan in October.

In the afternoon I called a customer center of a  credit card company to ask the delivery service of suitcase for the business trip next week.It's been a long tine since I went abroad last time. Merits of having that credit card is that complinentary delivery sevice of suitcase, drink tickets at the popular coffee shop,, and usage of lounge at the airport which I could not use for the past 5 years.

At night I received two deliverries.

I called and booked two rooms for Kinkasan's festival in October where I heard it has been full.

I walked to the station and headed for Tokyo to attend a reunion of the company I worked from May 18,1998 to December 24, 2003. There were 20 people.Some were from Kansai. Some were still working, others were already retired.The oldest was 82 years old and the youngest was 49 years old. It's been 5 years since we had the last reunion. Three colleagues passed away. 

After two hours we moved to the cafe. There were 9 people.

After that I went to anothe cafe with girls.

I came home around 9 PM.

I usually take a bath at night but this morning I took a shower before going to work.

At night I cooked the cooking kit meal for the second time. It's for two people. So I eat again.

There was a present giving ceremony to the staff who had a newly born baby. There were many people joined.

I wore kimono and headed for Ebisu to have luncheon. Just before that three more people decided to join.So there were 9 people in total and we had two tables.

After that we moved to the next place to attend IWPG's network building monthly meeting. I made a presentation as a panelist.

After that I went to Hibiya to see Mission Impossible at last.

When I paid the parking fee, I was surprised to know it became yen 1000.

After coming home I cooked dinner using the raw Wood ear mushroom which we usually eat the dried one.

In the morning I did Hydrangea spell.If my memories are correct, it's been three years since I started this spell.

After work I went grocery shopping.

On my way home at the slope half side was closed and it was rather difficult to drive.

I received the smartphone cover and changed because it was broken when I fell at EXPO the other day.When I took off the cover, I found it was even more damaged than I expected.So I am glad to receive it today.

Today is the new moon. it is a good time to make wishes. 

After work I went to buy the fluorescence lamp which was burned out yesterday, What a blessingto have light inthe dark.

I called a company to stop the subscription.But they tried to stop me.

I came back to Yokohama after stogppig at three service areas.  

Aftter taking train and taxy I came home around 8AM.

It was cloudy when I checked out the hotel but when I arrived at Yumeshima station it was heavily raining and I got wet.

I could not book any pavilion but enjoyed visiting many countries.

To my glad I got a postcard of San Marino by chance. They say first 10 people visited the pavilion get a special present. So I rushed and fell on the slippery marble.

To my lucky I got a beautiful key holder.

I decided to visit all ASEAN countries today and completed and got a present. It was a card type USB.

The highlight of today was to see my EXPO 92 companion friend who usually lives in Madrid, but is working at EXPO. It's been 23 years since I met her last in Madrid.

I walked more than 24000 steps.

It was fine and hot.

Today is summer solstice when the daytime is the longest in a year.

I arrived at Expo West Gate around 8:08AM and waited for the Gate Entrance time of 10 AM. It took two hours to enter.

Today I could not get any reservation but enjoyed visiting pavilions and event show.

My Expo 2005 colleagues and I got together and enjoyed talking and visiting Australian Pavilion where one of them was working.

We had dinner.

It was fun to see them after 20 years.

After saying good night, I came to the hotel in Kyoto.

After work I had quick supper and took a bath.

Around 21:40 I left home and walked to the station and took a train for Yokohama.

Meeting spot is different as usual.

Now I go to Osaka to visit EXPO for the 4th times. Tomorrow I may see some colleagues from EXPO 2005. It's been 20 years! Unbelievable!

In the afternoon I went to help the reception of the annual international program. 

Last year it was heavily raining, but today it was very hot like summer.

I harvested 10 plums and freezed. them. Those I harvested last time became riped, and I put them in salt.

After that I went to Yokosuka Iris Garden for the first time.

It was cloudy and rainy.

I got up later than I was supposed to. So I changf the route and headed for Shinjuku and ran to the parking lot. 

Departure was 7:30 and I got on the bus at 7:29.

I went to Yamanashi by bus tour. First destination was Fujisan World Heritage Center, Yamanashi. 

Next was 5th station of Mt.Fuji. I visited the shrine and post office.

Third destination was Chateau Katsunuma.

Fourth destination was cherry picking which was the main purpose of my choice of this tour.

We came back to Shinjuku around 18:30 and I headed for Ueno to visit the Special Exhibition Tsutaya Juzaburo: Creative Visionary of Edo.

I had dinner at a Korean restaurant with my friend.

It was a nice day.

Today our colleague of the different section brought his first new born baby at office. He is less than two months old. Very small and so cute.

Tonight I watched some TV programs. One was about 30 dancing songs of top 10 at each Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa era. The No.1 dancing song of Showa was YMCA by Hideki Saijo who died several years ago. His son appeared and sang the song with all the guests and audience.

The other program dealt with Imagine by John Lennon.

I published the ebook ”Art Is Unlimited” several years ago. Music is also unlimited.

Cooking is also unlimited. Stories are unlimited. Possibilities are unlimited.

It was fine and rather warm.

Recently I applied for the bus tour going to Yamanashi for picking cherries.

Today I got a call and email saying that the tour was cancelled because it did not meet the minimum number of participants. 

Since I was very looking forward to the tour I was disappointed.

There were two options to take. One is to change the date. The other is to go to other tour on the same day.

I could not take neither way unfortunately.

There are still other tours by other companies but far much expensive.

I do not know which way to take, to give up going or to pay more.

I stayed and worked at home.

At lunch time I picked up plums for the second time.

This time I decided to make plum syrup.

Compared to the last time, some were smaller. I made one by rock sugar, the other by honey and I also tried with soy sauce and vinegar.

Today is the day of snake and ichiryumanbaibi, which is a good day for money related things. So I paid the travel fee and transferred crypt currency.

At night I had a zoom meetiing with IWPG members.

Last Friday it rained heavily so that we postponed clearing the wasted paper today.

Today is the day of Tiger when is a good time to spend money. So I paid car tax and seminar fee and went shopping too.

A new month has started.

June is rokugatsu (6月、六月) or minazuki (水無月) in Japanese.

It was fine and rain.

There are some rituals I do on the first day of the month; to change plants, rice, salt of in-house shrine, change mounted salt, and visit nearby shrine.

I posted the calendar of June.

Today after visiting the shrine I went shopping for the container, rock sugar, and white liquor to make plum wine.

After coming home I picked up the plums, washed, wiped, and put into the container with rock sugar and white liquor for the first time.

It will take for a few months to be able to drink.

I visited Shiba Dai Jingu shrine and Zojoji temple and went to the Tokyo Prince Hotel to attend a seminar of 1200 people.

It was the last day of the 2025 May Grand Sumo Tournament Championship.

Ozeki Onosato lost the final match but won by 14−1 and became champion. 

He became a champion at the last tournament too.

Therefore he is expected to be Yokozuna.

He will be the fastest Yokozuna who becomes after 13 tournaments.

I went to Sugita to have my hair cut and get head spa asa birthday present.

It is the Day of Snake of the Month of Snake of the Year of Snake. I wanted to visit the shrine which enshrines Benzaiten at the Time of Snake. So I asked the smart phone about the walking distant shine, and I visited there though it seems there was no Benzaiten there.

I visited Softbank to ask about data back up. But after all I have to give up almost all the pictures I took yesterday.

I went to the Kimono shop to book the party next week. I could experience to make kimono by the mode of Ittobori(イット).

After that I went to Hinodecho to attend the monthly seminar.

After that I visited Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan Yokohama brunch temple.

It was rainy when I left home but became fine and cloudy later.

I took a day off to attend a monitor tour to Togoku sansha visiting tour.

Meeting time was 8:15 at Tokyo station, so I went there around 8 AM. However, it was a different place as usual. I realized around the meeting time and headed for the right place. I managed to be there in time.

There were three shrines to visit. I visited there on October 30, 2020 last time. They were under construction this time.

It seems there will be a big festival next year. I hope to be back to see the festival.

To my sad my strage became full and I could not take pictures, so I deleted many things. To my shock it seems many pictures I took today were also deleted by mistake.

After coming back to Tokyo I had dinner with my friend.

Today is shoman (小満), one of nijushisekki, 24 solar terms.Last one was rikka (立夏) on May 5 and the next one is boshu (芒種) on June 5.

There was a big news.Shinjiro Koizumi became Minister of Agriculture after Minister of Agriculture was replaced.He is from my constituency.

Tonight I harvested butterburs for the third time.

In more than 200 places it became more than 30 degrees centigrade which is mid summer day.

It is still May. We are afraid of the heat of July and August.

There was once a month zoom gathering about pilgrimage.

I heard many interesting places to visit.

I accepted some friend's request who have mutual friends. But I feel there is something wrong.

There was a community work called "Clean Day" which happens twice a year. It started at 8AM and lasted for about an hour.

After coming home, I knew there was a festival at Otsu Suwa jinja shrine in spite of heavy rain and wind yesterday by the newspaper.

So I decided to go to see the second day of the Onbashirasai festival. I arrived around 11:20AM and stayed there after 18:20 or so. It's been 1200 years since the shrine was founded. Amazing, isn't it?

I gave up going out but stayed at home all day long,

I prepared and published the 166th ebook about my trip to Fuji by Bus Tour.

After work I went to ATM and shopping. I was going to ATM of the Post Office, but it was already closed.

I watched 'Mission Impossible" on TV. They say Part II and III will be on Air before the new one will be released.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work as a ritual of the 15th day.

After work I went to ATMs and shopping. I bought 5kg rice. Price of rice has been increasing since last year. I found 5kg rice less than yen4000, and decided to buy.

On my way home I stopped at Tateishi to take the sunset pictures.

I stayed and worked at home.

I took three hours off to attend a seminar.

During the seminar there were some phrases I was inspired. Ooe of them was time is not equaI to everyone. I have believed that one day is 24 hours which is the only truth for everyone. But he said no. If you have money, you can hire people. If you do, you have more free time.

So to make more free time I want to be wealthy.

After that there were two sharing opportunties about the seminar.

Today it is the fullmoon. They say it is called Flower Moon.

To my glad my 164th ebook about sunlight in April has been No.1 in the USA and Japan and my 165th ebook about Expo 2025 has been No.1 in Japan.

Now I am preparing the No.166th ebook about the bus tour to Fuji.

Tomorrow I will take three hours off to attend a webinar.

From today the cafeteria reopened. There were many sweets today.

After coming home I have harvested the butterburs for the second time this spring.They grow so fast.

Every Monday night at 9PM I attend the face washing meeting by zoom. There was a new comer tonight.

It was fine during day time but rained at night.

I stayed at home all day long.

I published the 165th ebook about my trip to Expo 2025 today.

There will be an event in Kyoto next month. Therefore, I decided to visit Expo again next month.

At night I attended a zoom event as a guest speaker. In spite of pre−announce lives many times there were not so many audience. But I enjoyed talking about my experience.

There was an event I was going to attend but I decided to stay at home and attended  the event by zoom.

It was cloudy.

I took two hours off to go to Tokyo to attend the monthly meeting after a long time.

There was something wrong with the Map application, and I could not find the venue and was late for 20 minutes.

Since it was the day of Tiger which is a good day to deal with money I paid and sold sold some stocks.

After the meeting it started raining.I had dinner and came home late.

I took two hours off to go to Tokyo to attend a monthly meeting.

Since map application didn't work I walked around and arrived 20 minutes later.

After that I had dinner and came home late.

Today is the day of Tiger when is a good time to deal with money. So I paid and sold some stocks.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Another year has passed. How fast time flies!

It was fne today.

I stayed and worked at home today.

During lunch time I went to the nearby shrine to thank for the past year and ask for the next year.

At night I attended a live event to anounce my presentation next Sunday night.

To my glad I got a birthday present from my friend from U.K. It's been more than 25 years since we met in the Ground Circle tour in the USA before attending wedding ceremony of my American friend's from Expo 92.

After COVID−19 it became difficult to send something by airmail. So I did not send her birthday present.

Today is a transferred holiday and the last day of the Golden Week.

I stayed at home all day long.

It was fine.

Today is a national holiday called Kodomo no hi (こどもの日), Children's Day.

Today is rikka (立夏), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), 24 solar terms. Last one was kokuu (穀雨) on April 20 and the next one is shoman (小満) om May 21.

I walled to the station and got on 9:50 train to Sakura. There was a special exhibition about Nishikie (錦絵), color print at the National Museum of Japanese History. This is the second time for me to go there. Last time I could not see everything.

Today my friend and I ate lunch, saw the Nishikie exhibition and regular exhibition and walked around the garden.

After that we went to have dinner.

On my way home on the train I attended a zoom session.

I came home around 11PM.

It was fine.

Today is a national holiday called Midori no hi, Green Day.

I got up early to take the first train. I went to Shinjuku to attend a bus tour to Yamanashi to see Fuji Shibazakura Festival.  We were supposed to visit three places but it was so crowded that it took long to go, therefore we had to skip one place.

Weather was so nice and Mt.Fuji looked so beautiful with Moss phloxes.

The second place was Arakurayama sengen park where I have been once. Last time I could not see Mt. Fuji but I saw the beautiful Mt.Fuji.

I could not have lunch but I enjoyed the beautifuk sceneries.

It is the first day of the second half of the Golden Week.

Today is a national holiday called Kenpo kinen bi (憲法記念日), Constitution Day.

I stayed at home all day long.

I washed winter clothings and cleared kimono I wore last week.

I prepared the documents for pension receiving and made a reservation to visit the office. I wrote some emails to ask something.

I attended a zoom seminar at night.

I made the 163rd ebook.

It was a rainy day.

I am glad to have completed the pending issues at work.

At night I attended two zoom webinars.I was surprised to hear the success stories.

From tomorrow there will be the latter half of the Golden Week. Most people have four days off.

There will be festivals here and there which I am interested in. But I may not be able to visit thIs year.

A new month has started.

May is gogatsu (5月、五月) or Satsuki (皐月) in Japanese.

As the first day of the month I changed plants, rice, salt, water of the in−house shrine.

I stayed and worked at home.

Today is hachiju hachiya (八十八夜), 88th night from the first day of spring. It is the new season of picking tea leaves. 

I attended two zoom seminars.

There were good things and bad things.

It was fine. I saw the beautiful sunset.

Today was last day of 162nd ebook promotion. It's been No.1 in the USA and Japan.

On my way home I went grocery shopping. I should have used the points but did not notice that it would expire today and I lost some.

At night I had the 44th Bilingual Fortume Sharing Tea Party. We had two sessions.

I ordered the Nohana album.

 Today is a national holiday called Showa no hi (昭和の日), which was used to be Emperor Showa's Birthday.

I walked to the Miurakaigan station and headed for Shibuya to attend the movie viewing party which I participated as extra for the first time.

After that my friends and I went to have Afternoon Tea. To our surprise four of us were all Blood type O which reminded me of my high school tennis club members.

I came home by taxi.

It was cloudy and became rain.

On my way home I went grocery shopping. I feel many things have been getting expensive. 

Today is the new moon. It is a good time to think of dreams. My dreams are related to  traveling. There are still many places I want to visit.

It is the Golden Week in Japan. Usually it starts from April 29 which is Showa no hi (昭和の日), Day of Showa, when is used to be Emperor Showa's Birthday to May 5 which is Kodomo no hi (こどもの日), Children's Day.

If you take 4 days off, you can get 11 days vacation.

I work as the calendar day.

I do not travel far away but go here and there.

I got a call from a friend whom I met in Florhda when I worked at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. 

I finished reading a book I bought in March.

In the evening I attended a zoom meeting of IWPG. It's been just a year since I knew about IWPG. It is a big global organization seeking world peace.

It was fine, but became rain in the afternoon for a while and became fine again.

I got up early and wore kimono.

I went to the station and headed for Shinjuku to have luncheon with friends and watching Projection mapping.

I was interviewed for the Taiwanese program.

There was something wrong with our server at office. Therefore a new PC has been introduced.

There was a welcome luncheon for 5 newcomers. We ordered boxed lunch because there is no restaurant within the walking distance. I chose daily fish for main dish.

It was fine but windy.

I still have a running nose and cough.

Though I prepared green tea, I forgot bringing the water bottle.

When I can't decide the menu for lunch, I ask the recommendation.Today's recommendation was either Yellowtail or bamboo. I chose the latter, and it was delicious.Seasonal food is very good.

There were three zoom sessions at night. Two were lecture style business webinar. The last one was interactive meeting with those who have the same interest and hobby.

I saw Mt.Fuji after a while

There was a server trouble therefore we could not work. We were allowed to leave earlier.

On my way home I went to Nojima to buy a mouse but decided not to do so after the second thought.

Today is kokuu (穀雨), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), 24 solar terms.

Last one was seimei (清明) on April 3 and the next one is rikka (立夏) on May 5.

Kokuu literally means grain rain. It is the time of rain which helps to grow grains.

Today is the 33rd anniversary of opening Expo 92.

I stayed at home most of time today beside visiting the neighborhood.

I set up the PC finally.

I made a reservation for this Saturday.

It was fine.

I walked to the station and headed for the party venue in Yokohama.

On my way, I did not know there is a Korean Town in Yokohama.

We got together at 11:30 and prepared. It started at noon and lasted for three hours. There were more than 30 people. We enjoyed talking and talking.

The second party was karaoke which I have not been for a long time. There were 12 people. I sang two songs. We enjoyed singing and talking, 

The third party was Chinese Dinner at a Chinese restaurant, There were 9 people.

We enjoyed eating and talking.

It was a nice day.

It is the day of snake which is a messenger of Benzaiten and related with money and talents. 

It is Taian, which is a good day for everything.

I was going to buy PC for my birthday present next month but my PC was suddenly broken down last week.

So I decided to buy it today.

Yesterday I changed the connecting device, and there is something wrong with telephone parts.

I hope everything works well.

I stayed and worked at home.

I have a fever and running nose because of the cold weather for the past few days.

I finally changed the new BB Unit.

I hope to buy PC as soon as possible.

It was fine and warm.

I checked out the hotel and left the carry case and headed for Expo.

It took more than 40 minutes to enter.

I got a reservation at Women's pavilion and Kansai pavilion, visitem Malaysia and Common A and othes. At Kyoto booth I attended a tea ceremony which I missed the other day.

I went back to Sakai and visited shrines and Statue of Dragon Princess which I did not notice until today.

I picked up the carry case and headed for Shin Osaka to get on the Shinkansen at 17:54.  It delayed. 

On my way I attended a zoom event.

I came home around 11:30PM.

It was fine but became cloudy.

I started the day later.  

First I went to Sumiyoshi taisha shrine which had the15th day festival. I should have left the hotel earlier.

I walked around about two hours.

Next I went to the Osaka International Convention Center to attend the LWS. 

I mistook the place for tomorrow, and had to run. I should have checked well.

It started at 13:00 and lasted until 19:00 or so. The guest speaker was very nice.

I took a shuttle bus back to Osaka.

I had dinner with friends.

It was a long day.

It was fine in the morning and afternoon, but rained in the evening and stopped raining at night.

I left the hotel around 9:30 and headed for Expo by different route.Today's reservation was 11AM.

I started waiting at USA pavilion but had to gave up because of the first reservation.

I visited more than 15 

I could see my teacher of Expo92 for a short time.

　

I came back to the hotel around 10:30 PM.

It was a cold rainy day.

I left the hotel around 8:15 and headed for Yumeshima.

My reservation was 10AM. I arrived there around 9:30 but it took about one hour to enter.

First I bought a passport and next I bought a map.

I went up to the top of the roof ring and walked around. To my lucky I saw the water show.

I waited in the line and visited Spanish, Saudi Arabia, Nordic Circle,  International Organization,  Kansai, and Kansai Healthcare Pavilions.

I am glad to see my old friend.

I started the day early. I got up around 5 AM and attended the morning reading meeting from 6 AM. I was a guest speaker for the first time. It was the 695th gathering. Isn't it amazing? It is held on every Saturday and Sunday morning from 6 AM and Wednesday night from 9 PM.

After that I went to the beauty salon to have my hair cut and perm.

I ate quick lunch and dropped at kimono shop and went to Iseyama kotai jingu and Naritasan temple.

I attended a seminar after two months or so.

In the evening I took a Shinkansen and came to Osaka. There were many signs about Expo 2025 which starts from tomorrow.

It was rainy and cold.

It was another busy day at office.

To my discourage there is something wrong with my PC and I cannot make presentation slides for tomorrow nor new books.

I will be very busy tomorrow from the mormning.

I am looking forward to visiting Expo 2025.

I stayed and worked at home all day long.

I was shocked that my PC did not work though I wanted to prepare the presentation for Saturday and published the 162nd ebook.

I booked the Shinkansen to Osaka and bought the Season Pass for Expo 2025.

I am not sure how much I can see but I hope to visit there at least three times, beginning, middle, and ending to see the changes.

On my way home I went to a gas station and filled up my car. This time I drove about 500km.

I got up early to listen to the zoom meeting from 6AM.

I wore kimono.

My friends and I went to Enoshima shrine to attend the Annual First Day of Snake Festival. They say it's been held every year since 853.  How wonderful history we have!

After the festival we visited three shrines and had late lunch and sweets.

I took my friends to the station and headed for Kamakura to see Cherry blossoms and had dinner with friend.

I came home around 8:30AM.

It was a wonerful two days trip.

It was fine and warm, and rain in the night.

I got up very early to attend the reading meeting which I will be interviewed next Saturday.

After lunch I drove to Kamakura and got together with friends. We visited a shrine and a temple which has name of dragon.

We went to Japanese style inn and headed for Enoshima.

First we had dinner and went to Spa.

My present campaign of the 161st ebook started. To my glad it's been No.1 in Japan.

It was fine and warm.

Today is seimei (清明), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), 24 solar terms. Last one was shunbun (春分) on March 20, and the next one is kokuu (穀雨) on April 20.

Seimei literally means pure bright. It is the time everything is fresh, bright, and beautiful.

Cherry blossoms at work place is full in bloom and beautiful.

There were lots of works at work and I overworked.

The other day I got two lemons.Today I sliced both of them and put into two bins, one for honey and the other for salt. The former for drink, and the latter for cooking.

At night there was a zoom gathering for IWPG.
