Last day of August.

There are some things to do on the last day of the month.

One of them is to make a photo album of 20 pages by Nohana. I made 4 months calendar too.

The other is to have a Bilingual Fortune Sharing Tea Party. I started this zoom event three years ago and today was the 36th meeting.

It was cloudy, rainy, fine, and rainy again today.

Since it was not raining in the morning, I decided to travel by Seishun 18 ticket.

I went to Hitachi station in Ibaraki and visited Izumi jinja shrine.

It took five hours and a half to go and five hours to come back and about two hours sightseeing.  But it was worth visiting.

At night I attended three meetings.

It was a nice day.

It was cloudy and rainy.

The big typhoon No.10 hit Kyushu, and is still moving slowly.

It seems there are many damages and traffic problems even if it is faraway from the typhoon.

In the afternoon I had a meeting for the business trip next week.

My 129th ebook has become No.1 in the USA.

It was a rainy day.

 

It seemed to have rained heavily in some parts of Japan even if it is still faraway from the typhoon No.10.

After work I went to two supermarkets but I have not got rice.

I went to a bank to transfer the payment due tomorrow.

At night I watched a movie Laputa: Castle in the Sky on TV.

tt was cloudy, rain, and fine and hot.

I stayed and worked at home all day long.

I received two mail ordered goods which I bought by credit cards points the other day. 

One was two necklace chains of 60cm and 70cm long which I happened to see the advertisement. 

The other was a suit case.  During the last trip to Kansai, one of the castes of old carry case was broken.

I liked both.

At night I had the last lecture of Peace Education. I need to prepare for the lesson.

Typhoon No. 10 is approaching.

It was fine and hot and partially heavily rained.

There was once a year health check.

As I noticed these days, the number showed the reality.

It took longer, and I was late for lunch, that is I was not in time for dessert.

After work I went to two shops to buy a pair of shoes and some foods.

My present campaign of 129th book started. To my glad it became No.1 in Japan.

It was fine and hot.

Today I published the 129th ebook. To my glad it became No.1 in Japan.

I went to Toyocho to support the international event from10:30AM. 

There were presentation sessions and an award ceremony and a farewell party.

It was nice to have chances to talk with fellows and colleagues from different divisions at the party.

I planned for weekend.

I stayed at home all day long.

Yesterday I submitted the draft of the 129th ebook, usually it is published soon, but it has not been published yet.

So I started preparing the 130th ebook.

I bought something by e-shopping.

It was fine and hot.

I stayed at home all day long and watched the videoes of the True History and others.

I made the 129th ebook about waterfalls in Aomori where I visited last month.

I feel like traveling to waterfalls using Seishun 18 ticket. But I won't be able to use for 5 pieces.

There seemed fireworks festival here and there tonight and I happened to see the one from the balcony.

It was fine and hot.

There was the final match of the high school baseball game.It's been 18 years since there was the extended game last time. Kyoto Kokusai Daiich High School became the champion. It's been 68 years since the school in Kyoto became the champion.

On my way home I droped at a shose shop. They trade-in old shoes for 200 yen coupon. If you use the Application, you can get 10%. Isn't it good?

I visited the shop nearby, but there were no rices yet,

There were two movies on TV, but I fell asleep.

It was cloudy.   

Today is shosho (処暑) one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. Thn last one was risshu (立秋) on August 7 and the next one is hakuro (白露) on Sep.7.

It is time when heat becomes weaker.

At work I made business cards. In other workplaces they were given when I started the job. But in my current position I seldom meet outside people and I did not have to use it and I have not had it by now. At other places we ordered, but I tiought I made some by myself. To my glad there was a form and I just needed the necessary information to make it. It was rather easier than I thought. 

Af home I watched the video of 'True History" Chapter 2. 

They say it rained heavily in Tokyo area again.

It was fine and hot.

There were many paperworks and a meeting at office today.

After coming home, I watched the video of the True History, Chapter 1.

I filed the leaflets I got during my trip last week.

It was fine and hot.

I went to office after 10 days or so. There were many sweets from my colleagues on the desk. So as paperworks.

 

After work I went shoppiog and filling up my car. To my surprise though I went to 3 shops,  there was nn  rice.

At night there was a zoom gathering. There were five to six participants. Most of them went to the Lake Towada Retreat together last month, so we enjoyed talking.

Today was the full moon.

2024.8.19

It was fine and hot.

I came back to Yokohama around 5:10AM and arrived at the Misakguchi station around 6:30AM.  Since there were no taxi waiting and I walked home around 7AM.

I washed and took a shower and started working at home from 8:45AM till 5:30PM.

I have a sore throat and swallen feet.

At night I attend the Lesson of the Peace Education.

2024.8.18

It was fine and hot.

After breakfast I went to Horikoshi jinja shrine and Shitennoji temple after a long time.

After checking out I went to attend a seminar from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. It was the third and fourth lessons of the 6 series.I took the first and second lesson on March 31.

After the lesson eight of us went to have dinner. Since I had another appointment I left earlier.

I met a facebook friend and had dinner.

I took a night bus at 10 PM.

It was a nice trip.

It was fine and hot.

It was my father's death anniversary.

I started walking around Akashi for an hour.

After chacking out, I asked the hotel to keep my luggages and headed for Nihon Heso Koen park. There are some facilities and I enjoyed the Terra Dome very much. 

After coming back to Akashi I had octopus lunch and went back to the hotel to pick up the luggages and headed for Shin Kobe to visit the Nunobiki waterfalls.

After that I went to Osaka to see my old friend from JICE and we enjoyed the reunion.

It was a nice day.

It was fine and hot.

I checked out the hotel, took a bus at 8 AM and went to Uzaki to rent a car.

It's been a long time since I rented a car last time. Technology progressed and it was hard to get used to.

I went to Izanagi jinja shrine, Nishihama daimyogin shrine, Sokohachimamgu shrine, Chizenji temple, Onokorojima jinja shrine, Yume no ukihashi, Ashihara no kuni, Uzu

no oka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Hall, Ayuya waterfall, Roadside Station Awaji and came back to the rent-a-car shop before 19 PM. I drove about 145km.

 

They sent me to the Iwaya Ferry terminal and I took the 19:20 ferry to Akashi.

I checked in the hotel and took a public bath.

It was another nice day.

2024.8.15

It was find and hot.

After eating breakfast I checkf out the hotel and took a bus to Otsuka Museum of Art.

It is a huge museum of 5 stories with gardens and restaurants. Entrance fee is rather expensive but worth visiting. There are about 1000 replica of great works of Europe.

After that I visited Uzu no michi, the road of whirl which is located 45 meters above whirls.

I took the 15:35 bus, and waited for the next one but it was off and I had to wait for the next one until 19:20, so I changed the plan and visited the memorial exhibition Eddy.

To my lucky my friend in Awajishima came to pick me up and took me to the hotel. It's been a long time since we met last.

How kind he is!

After checking in, I walked around the hotel for tomorrow.

It was another unforgettable day.

It was fine and hot,

I stayed at home all day long.

I could plan the trip to Awajishima next week and booked every transportation and accommodation.

There is a problem. I needed to change the schedule, but the hotel could not change, and they suggested to cancel once and book again. But it became more expensive now to book.

I watched some Olympic games. I enjoyed watching especially new discipline Breaking. It is wonderful.

Today I received a book and read it at a time.

It was fine and hot.

I checked out the hotel before 8AM and went to Osaka station to get on the 8:30AM bus bound for Tokushima. 

The bus delayed for twenty minutes or so.

It's been a long time since I came to Tokushima last. The reason I came here was to see the Awa odori dancing which starts at 8:20 PM and ends at 10 PM. The coin operated locker is only available by 10 PM. So I needed to change the place to leave a carry case.

After sightseeing I went to the venue and enjoyed the show.

After that I came to Naruto. I thought I 

booked the hotel but the date was for tomo rrow. Though the price was expensive, I could manage to take a room.

It was fine and hot.

I arrived at Osaka around 6:20AM, went to the hotel to leave a carry case and headed for the Minoh Fall.

I arrived at Minoh station around 8AM. Since the bus leaves at 10AM, after having breakfast I decided to walk to the Minoh Fall for 2.8km. It was a nice place.

I climbed up to the observatory at the mountain.

I visited three temples and came back to the hotel once.

At late at night I met a friend after a few years and had dinner.

It was a nice holiday.

It was fine and hot.

Today is the transferred holiday and the last day for three day weekend.

I watched the closing ceremony of the Olympics Paris 2024. I enjoyed Tom Cruise's part which was surprising.

After eating breakfast I went to Hie jinja shrine.

After checking out, I went to Ebisu to attend the True History Seminar Day 2 which lasted until 10 PM.

After the seminar I went to Shinjuku to get on a night bus to Osaka.

It was fine and hot.

Today is a national holiday called '"Yama no hi (山の日)", Mountain Day.Since it fell on Sunday, we have a three day weekend.

I wanted to climb Mt. Nantai in Tochigi, but my friend invited me to two days lecture of True History and I decided to join.

I got up early, cooked lunch, walked to the station and went to Ebisu to attend the lecture from 10 AM to 9 PM. It was full of information of the historical facts I did not know.

After the lecture, I had a monthly zoom session of reading calendar.

At night there was a sad telephone call.

Today is the 79th Anniversary

of Dropping Atomic Bomb in Nagasaki.

I stayed and worked at home by 15:30 and took two hours off to attend the monthly meeting in Tamachi from 18:00.

After the meeting alarm of many people's smartphone sounded suddenly. We were so suprised. There happened a big earthquake in Kanagawa.

After that I contacted my old friend in Tamachi and we decided to see each other.

It was a nice reunion after a long time.

Today is the peak of opening the Lion's Gate.

From today the 128th present campaign has started.

There were big earthquakes in Miyazaki in the evening.

I have been thinking how to spend next week.

It was fine and hot.

I published the 128th ebook. To my glad it beccame No. 1 in Japan.

After coming home I walked to Miurakaigan to see the fireworks festival. It's been long tIme since I went to see that last time.

There were so many people at the beach.

It lasted for half an hour. The finale was so nice. 

I walked back home. So I walked for more than 5km in total. 

I am trying to find a hotel in Awajishima but they are so expensive.

It was fine and hot.

Today is the 79th Peace Memorial Day in Hiroshima.

At 8:15AM on August 6, 1945 the first Atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima city and it is estimated about 140,000 people were dead by the end of the year 1945.

There are still wars ongoing here and there.

What can we do for stopping wars and making the world peace?

I have been learning World Peace Education since June this year.

There were many paper works.

On my way home I went grocery shopping to buy rice. But there was a difference from the PR, I did not buy.

From 18:30 I attended the lecture of World Peace Education.

I was going to plan the trip next meek but could not.

I went to Shinjuku to attend the lecture and autograph session of the new book of the legendary famous editor Hidenori Sakurai. It was very interesting.

After that I went to Yokohama to have crab dinner.

Before that I had some time, so I went to Starbucks and started reading the book. It was very interesting.

At dinner since I used the birthday coupon, they gave me a birthday cake plate and a memorial picture present.

Today is the new moon. I am glad to have started a good start.

Early morning I took a bath and went to bed and took rest.

 

It was another hot day.

I stayed at home all day long.

In the afternoon I watched some Olympic games on TV.

At night I watched a movie on TV.

It was fine and hot.

There were many things to do at the offiice after about four dayrs absence and I overworked a little bit.

At night there was a zoom session. I happened to see the instructor a few days ago at the Lake Towada. He has an abilIty to connect with something great. It was informative and interesting.

I was going to have lunch with my friend next Sunday but she became ill and we need to reschedule. 

There will be a week summer vacation soon. I need to plan how to spend.
